Honestly some nursing homes are that lonely, just pick a good one check them out & see what’s best for you don’t just pelt them in any home. Cause it’s better than being at home, some of them prefer their own homes but I feel like as long as no one is available & they aren’t Mobile they should just go to the nursing home not because they are sick but because they lived their lives & it’s time for their kids/grandkids to do the same so honestly speaking nobody has time sorry to say but they don’t have time for them so just so they aren’t lonely just place them in a nursing home they will be comfortable in & if you usually do Christmas together bring them home for that & when the holidays are gone just place them back there. Just my opinion 🤷🏽♀️
Unless you die suddenly, you will reach older age. And when that happens I wonder what you will think. I wish it was as simple as "just pick". Those places are expensive, limited, and unfortunately, sketchy. Most older adults are on a fixed income, too. I hope you get to have disposable income, to balance the disregard it seems you will have towards yourself when you reach older age, having already lived your life. Perhaps you will try to convince yourself that you dont want to burden your family, but inside, you will want affection... everyone does.
