- Probably my most negative review of a full wave in the Star Wars 3.75 Vintage Collection... didn't help that it was a horrible rainy day and I was under the weather (no pun intended 🤒)
The most significant thing I wasn't impressed with was Professor Huyang..... what a disappointment, albeit you could already tell from the publicity photos! 🤔😏 O.O.K 👌

OOK- maybe it is time not to order everything Hasbro puts out for figures? I say this as a man that has freed myself from the “Hasbro Release Train” and now I only buy what I like. Freed up lots of space and my pocket book.

I've done exactly the same. I've stopped ordering full waves and just cherry pick the figures I really want or like. This wave I just bought Huyang and that was only because Amazon had on pre-order for £10, had it been full price I wouldn't have bothered due to the incorrect colouring.
@@OnlyOneKenobi I am sure there is OOK. Easy for me to say since I don’t run a channel like you do. Finally got a blue Snaggletooth after I sold all my TVC.
I did it 2 years ago. I sold over 200 figures between black series, marvel legends and dc multiverse. Now i have a simple rule, i only buy the definitive version of my favourite 5 or 6 characters from a franchise. Its so freeing, no more failed toy hunts, no more pre orders, no more extortionate secondary market prices. Vote with your wallets people, its all these companies understand!!
@@billpaulk1058 Fully agree. Have recently had a big clear out after realising I'd bought things I wasn't even that into. Liberating and freed up funds/much needed space for things like a pre cyborg Grievous that had been on the list for a while. Also, nice work on the blue snag 👍
I spray painted Grogu's chainmail with Rustoleum aluminum. It looks good. I may have to do the same with Professor Huyang.

I agree with you regarding the uninspiring waves that have been announced. In fact I haven't ordered any since February and really struggling to do it.
Instead I have spent money on older figures to complete my collection.
That's exactly what I've been doing. The money you save on undesired releases. Leaves room to purchase good carded figures that also are a safe bet if you ever want to sell them. I'm currently on the hunt for the sandstorm leia.

Wonderful Review. 😊. Yeah lots of Mando Figures. But hey. Would love more season 1&2 of Mando specifically mate. Can’t complain. Shame on the paint job on Huang 😢.
Holy Cow man!! It was a negative review but i still enjoyed the content. I too am tired of grogu and mando. The biggest eye roll for me was the one with the wight jetpack. Anyway get well soon man and take care.

Great video, I share your lack of enthusiasm for this wave. Only bought HuYang myself and the cheapo lazy paint job, or lack of, is very disappointing. The rest are uninspiring and I don’t need them although will pick up Mando fleet commander cheap in about a year 😂
LOVE THE FIGURES!! I totally feel your stress about the collection keeps growing. Im so out of room, I just leave them in the pulse boxes. No sense for me to buy more star cases as they will take up more room.

Pretty sure they heard Huyang was in the show so just used his clone wars appearance. This is what happens when they rush things out. They say it takes 18 months to make a figure from first concept to shelf, so any time a figure comes out within a year of the show it’s from, you’re going to have this issue.
The postcards were gifted as a May 4th promotion if you spent £50 or over, I got them as I got TVC Count Dooku, Republic Trooper & Black Series Umbra Arc Trooper. It's criminal how Hasbro could release that Huang figure like that, if they not gonna be bothered painting him at all and just go with 'coloured plastic', why not use the colour which they again lazily chose to make the Mando N1 Star fighter in, again no proper paint, I see a pattern forming?

I skipped this wave. It's a pity that the TVC community didn't protest when they showed the first pictures of Huyang. Like me, most people probably thought that it's just a prototype and that the color will be corrected, but unfortunately it looks even worse than on the pictures. They should've given him the metallic paint that they used for Jango Fett. It's sad that Hasbro is so cheap now that they ruin great sculpts with the lack of paint apps.
Star Action just delivered me this wave. They arrived perfect, well packed but it was like opening socks on Christmas?! 🤷🏼♂️

If you have to ask "why?". The answer is usually all about the ££££.
It's crazy how late you got this wave in the UK, in Australia we got it in hand at the start of April, my Huyang shipped April 1st. Not good enough Hasbro. The Huyang despite the paint is a superb articulated 3.75 inch figure.

I have a new resolve. I dont buy Disney sw that i dont enjoy watching unless a particular figure is desired. I was gonna buy hyuang but your review made a great point. They dont care about their figures so why should I.

Hey Nick hope you are good man! yeah just got this wave x2 from SAF , a couple of bad bubble card press marks but overall theres a decent set to keep carded and a set to open sadly no specail SAF figure photos cards
That wave is an absolute shocker, lol. Kinda glad I opted out of this one. Too mu h Mando and Grogu for sure. It looks a really cheap wave.
I think they went for the clone wars look of huyang but put him on an ahsoka card, but I agree he would have looked better metallic

Man, I hate seeing it but lately it seems you’ve gone sour on the hobby. I get it, it’s been an onslaught of “meh” for a while. Like others have said, take a break from being a completist and just focus on the stuff you want and love. Hope you feel better soon!

I've got 3 mandalorion character figures due to come from SAF
Bought the Disney droid factory set and passed on all of these. I will try to get a Fleet Commander at some point....bring on the HasLab.
If Huyang is in it... I wouldn't mind seeing what that version is like! 😉👌

Mate that droid isnt bad, despite the Disney one having a better finish. The character from Mando season 3 isnt bad despite him being another ( sighs) Mandalorian. The rest is just repacked meh, Axe Woves is particularly disappointing as his outfit is not updated

Have done my fairly enthusiastic reviews on some of these figures..were is the Moff Gideon and troops from S3?..how about that mad looking droid from the first episode of the season..shit I'll even take the Lizzo and Jack Black characters..because they are new!!...I think that company that sold you the figures is trying to hook you into the 6"FIGURE line again..all those cards are 6"...can lead a horse to water, they say...cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻
