Man that looked easy af. Next time the pos CVT in my Sentra blows, I can rebuild it myself.
Yup! Inside is much simpler than we think.
Hi
Did the rpm reach 3000 in your sentra at 120km?
Bro you are one of the best channel to watch you help me a lot continue my brother God bless you
Ali. I'm glad it's helped you and other people out there. I've got many videos to edit and put up, but I haven't had time. Thank you for the wonderful comment! God bless you too!

If you have time, please rebuild Hondacvt engine. Your explanation is easy to understand. thank you for sharing your technology.
Thank you! I would be glad to crack one open if I ever run into one. What year and model were you looking for, I'll keep an eye out and if I ever get the opportunity to, I will do it. These CVTs are much more simpler to fix than we all think.

make sure the bolts that go in the primary variator are shorter than the rest of the bolts that join the variator case to the the case because longer bolts will destroy the reluctor
Hey mate, great videos, I have a question regarding the idler shaft bearing. Is this the upgraded NSK version? Is it 12mm thick? If it is did you keep the shim under the bearing on the housing side ?
1:43 I saw another video were it came with 2 little o rings on the top holes. 2 top holes for the variators
Good job can you tell me my nissan versa note is rpm is up so what is the problem
I have a 2011 Versa with a CVT RE0F08B Will this be close to the same trans as yours. If it is I may rebuild it. I actually thought about changing it to a manual transmission. Have you considered this.
Mejor imposible👏👏👏
Could I use another transmission from Nissan and just change the bell housing I hear if the y12 and the juke am just not sure working trying seems to be cheaper
My friend that was a good job I have a question I'm working oh my versa note myself it happened that I lost the snap ring for the oil pump gear do you know where I can find one if you know I will appreciate thank you
Fucken awesome dude
Did you have to buy any special tools for the rebuild besides the ones you have in the description?
Cool
how did you get the computer programmed and relearn the new transmission shifting?
Can you add part list and where did you buy them how much you spend on parts
What you think about transmission? It's good 2014 versa note cvt... or toyota forever!
love your video i would hire you in a heartbeat!!!!!
I rebuilt my Nissan Sentra 2016 transmission e, the car doesn’t start because the gears aren’t starting, and on the dashboard it only shows an R, no D or N or any other gear. Please reply. Thank you.
Excellent work Thanks for the guidance! Where did you get all the replacement parts?
Purchased over amazon, ebay, and alibaba
Can I use sealant 5999 gray vs 5460 pink?
Thank you!
Very good video, I have a 2008 gts lancer with cvt transmission, can you upload videos of lancer?
My gts have a zumbido in cvt transmission, do you now What is the problem?
Where do you get gloves
Hello! can you share jf414e/re4f03c repair service manual
does the transmission cooler has a oil filter inside too ? the JF011E has 2 filters, one in the oil pan and one inside the transmission cooler. sorry about my english
The transmission cooler filter is on the side of the transmission, at 23:00, the second filter is the actual transmission filter which is under the valve body inside the transmission pan.
Is it true 2012 versa only one transmission and no other year will fit
Excellent work my friend is this same 2009 nissan cube transmission? hope you reply thank you for your help 🙏
No the transmission for that model would be different. Will most likely have similar parts, but it is not the same.
Bonjour Mr svp j'ai le temoin check engin allumé après diagnostic ( code fault 0846 sensor pression de liquide de transmission)
Svp qu'est ce que je dois faire
Merci d'avance
work very well, sorry how much is the loctite si5460?
It's about $30-$40 on eBay
I have a similar transmission with 2 problems: car dies off when put in drive or reverse. I'm starting to think it's the valve body. The 2nd problem, is the jerk when I put the car in gear. After about 1/4 mile the jerk stops and car runs normal. Is the valve body responsible for both problems?
I have same problem, i found piece of metal in valvle body cover. Changed fluid and filters, works nice only when engine is hot. Now im taking down transmission and open it check what is wrong
I rebuilt my CVT JF011E transmission got it put in but I’m getting a secondary pressure solenoid stuck on ( low pressure) what do I need to look for Thanks
I replaced valve body with a complete reman Please can you help 5:53
Did you swap the ROM chip that was on the original valve body to the new valve body? Here's a link: at-manuals.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/jf015e_solenoids-1024x655.jpg
Where did u get the parts?
Hi, thank you for sharing these videos are excellent! Where did you buy the master kit for your cvt transmission?
Hello, I purchased the master rebuild kit off of eBay. Should come with the clutches, seals, o rings, etc. You should also change the transmission pump. That was also purchased on eBay. The pulleys were bought on alibaba.com
I have a versa 2013 and I have problems with it, I lost the acceleration when I was driving is like the car is on neutral and I turned off to try to cold the transmission and motor, but after that the car is couldn't power on again, this could be for the primary, secondary and belt for CVT transmission? Is necessary to replace?
If the belt breaks, the car should still be able to start,, but you won't be able to drive or reverse. If reverse works, then its something else. If the car doesn't start its something else. How many miles is on your car?
@@TheLaborService the car has around 111810 km, already I reviewed with a mechanic and maybe is the wheel of the motor is broken, I think this match with the characteristic issues
Awesome work. Are there place you can get cvt parts
I ordered them from Alibaba, but eBay might have some stuff.
@@TheLaborService how long did it take?
I have a question for you after you rebuilt the transmission did you have to get the tcm re- flashed or reprogrammed
same question
Does frequent transmission fluid change make the belt last longer?
It does help a bit, but not a miracle or anything. I find that even after just 5,000 - 10,000 mi. you'll already start to have debris in the transmission fluid from the belt scrapping on the variators. What needs to be done every single time you do a transmission change is, drop the pan, clean the magnets, replace transmission pan gasket, transmission filter, then you'll have to do a transmission flush with about 10 qts. of CVT fluid and at the end change the oil cooler filter, It's just a really bad design and these CVTs are super sensitive to dirty fluids.
@@TheLaborService okay, thanks for the feedback
When you installed the bearing thats on top of the idler puller sprocket at about 10 minutes in the video. does the bearing raceface down or up and does the race have to "snap" into place or does it kind of just lay on top?
You are talking about the sort of bearing cover right? It just goes over it, sometimes you'll find it stuck back on the torque converter housing on the inside, it doesn't snap, it just sits there.
@@TheLaborService thanks I got it put back together in the car. I was wondering if you could help me troubleshoot it. I have everything in the car minus the cv axles and obviously everything that goes to the spindles. When I go to the start the car the starter clicks just one time and then nothing happens. I cleaned up my motor ground and jumped the battery and the same thing happens. I installed a new valve body from the dealer and it needs to be flashed that be the problem? I'm double checking to see if I missed any connectors but I'm pretty sure I got them all.
Nevermind I got it to start. I think the spline to the motor was little bound up. And when I jumped it again it freed up and turned over.
@@joshuafelix101 Very nice! I hope all goes well!
@@joshuafelix101
The EEPROM from ur old valve body should have been swapped onto your new valve body. If you still have your old valve body that would be the easiest way to do it. However, I don't think it would be the EEPROM that's preventing the car from starting. If it just clicks, and if your battery is in good health, it sounds like it could possibly be the starter. Are all your sensors connected? Is it just one click? or multiple clicks? make sure your ground wires are properly connected. There's that other ground wire that goes from that chassis to the battery plate too I believe, driver side front. Are you able to scan anything?
How much oil is need for typical oil change ?
Without removing the tranny filter and pan. About 3.5 to 4 qts. If you remove the filter and pan is about 4 qts.
Hi! Hey...how long did all of this take you? Thanks!
Ou puis-je trouver les pièces qui me conviennent pour mon Nissan 1,2 DIG-T
De 2015
Followed everything and transmission still slips 😭
Is it mandatory to replace the pump ?
If you are in there. You might as well.
Where did you buy the rebuild kit or parts from?
The rebuild kit, and the secondary, primary, and belt, were all purchased on Alibaba.com. The company I spoke with and got very helpful information from was Guangzhou Xinyulin Auto Parts Co., Ltd. And they are the people that supplied the parts for me. The pulley kit was $236.50. and the master rebuild kit was $89.50. With shipping and everything it was $475. Shipment was also quite fast. I believe it was less than a week to arrive.
The Labor Service I have a 2014 Versa I think I’m going to give the rebuild a shot and see how it goes. I’ve rebuilt engines but never transmissions. Where did you get the torque specs from? I use all data but I don’t think they have in-depth transmission info, well maybe they do I never really looked. You have ig or Snapchat?
@@omgthatguy1 I will eventually start an IG, you can e-mail me at thelaborservice@gmail.com. I can give you more sources and information. No problem!
@@TheLaborService Hello, do you do this CVT repairs for others? I would be interested to get my 2013 versa's transmission repaired. I'll send you an email from my Lionel gmail account.

Very nice video. Love the spicy talk and commentary. Perhaps the best video on rebuilding these piece of shit transmissions I've ever seen. Great job!
Just got quoted $4300 for a rebuild 💀
You forgot one piece
Great accept for the profanity.
I didn't know I didn't have the freedom to speak, my apologies for being a human being and not an angel from the gods. I hope the video has provided you with the necessary information needed from hell.
Great answer!
