Really nice. Amazing work with the layers in the displacer for the jellyfish head. Thanxs for share it!
It´s hard to find good tutorial on YT from the beginning to the final result. Thanks for your eforce! And sorry for my english :c xD
Thanks for watching!

I finally got it! Thanks for lesson!
This Tutorial was legit
so sick! you really make me enjoy 3D-Art!
The intro music is good
nice one. will recommend to my modesign/c4d friends
Can you recreate this in Redshift or octane?
Thanks.
Great lesson
That ending tho, LOL
Nick! You have the singer's talent! I made an animation with a jellyfish but I can not achieve transparency and luminosity like you. I do not have a HDRI sea bottom map. I was looking for HDRI of the seabed all over the Internet, but alas, I did not find it! You definitely have, I know! Please drop the link to the cards that were used in this lesson! Thank you, Olga!
a long one, i love it :)
I'm not a poor guy but that pricetag for that lightkitpro is really expensive..
Which I think essential for your tutorials..
nice video and how to do my model
he is just expert in displacer
There was a lot of jelly on this tutorial!
show us how to make that head :D in 2:47 .... btw nice tutorial ! and thanks for this channel! LEGEND !
+der moglii you can find that tutorial in season 1 of Ask GSG Archive. greyscalegorilla.com/downloads/askgsg-season-1-archive/
hey, do you guys have a tut on creating a Squid Animated texture?
Is there a simple way to apply some motion on a loop to a single jellyfish tentacles?
I'm loving this tutorial but sadly my computer is too slow once I got about 30 minutes in, which is just at the end of the modelling phase.
I'm looking to spend a fair bit on a Mac Pro so I can keep working and learning. Anyone out there who went down the Mac route for 3D and animation?
i work same way animate this single jellyfish .but cloner and random effcetor time hang and slow no work properly how solve .any tutor video pls.copy drag or put in cloner not work properly it sslow and hang
Where you get that intro music
Everything was going well before.I got caught up from the 33rd minute. When you start working with Content Browser. I purchased the material from the link and installed in Plugins. what is it in the tag column?
guy, why ma hair grow from my cirlce to the side and not dow? i cant figure it out.. HEELP plisss
Appreciate the vidéo and particulary the BOOMBOOM annoying all long
this might be a dumb question; I've never used B-splines before and I dont have it on r17, is it a plugin?
good tutorial but at 34:41
how am i meant to get that file?
one question: Can I do transparent material without reflections somehow? I mean like this yellyfish underwater: previews.123rf.com/images/lilithlita/lilithlita1206/lilithlita120600110/14050707-Moon-jelly-fish-Aurelia-aurita-Taken-at-Red-Sea-Stock-Photo.jpg
Both c4d and v-ray material I tryed, added reflection automaticly with refraction and I dont see any option to disable it. Maybe only with SSS, but its not exactly what I want.
Amazing work with deformers
Patrick is awesome!
But what if i want to animate the jellyfishs ?
the jellyfish in my render result gets much dark(black)area, does someone know how to get rid of it?
wind speed 5000 => ooouuuuuuuuwwwww!! :D
32:02 ...that yeah...lol
How would you do this without the HDR studio?
Gaming Cat yes
Pllllllz can u share the scene am hobbiest i like samples pllllzz maan :(((
please show the result at the end of ur videos :(
You can usually see the final result at the beginning. Here is where we show it in this video. czcams.com/video/eagnHZugNQ4/video.htmlm6s
Re upload?
Yep. We are remastering some of our favorite tutorials for youtube.
ok that may be a horrible stupid question. but where is the b-spline. it wont show up here.
oh thanks. just figured it out myself :) cheers
wtf this is insane
"my safe function is when it chrashes" really? I guess this was a joke on the other hand I do not understand why cinema defaults to not have auto save active ...
its an option you can turn on, as alot of people blue screen there machines which can ruin them not likely but it can by filling up there hard drive space with illumni files that they dont even know about, it's a safer bet that someone who is doing this stuff seriously will know to turn it on.
Jellyfish don't have brains.
HorstEwald Some people too
Yep that is their stomach
They have nerves though. Brains are kinda just clumped control nerves.
Nice attempt, but the shading process, what show of horror! Don't do that guys, look at the reference. Not even closer! That's why native renderer should be extinguished form Cinema 4D. Make RS the default.
