This is a movie you absolutely need to go see in theaters. The sound is unbelievable, and if you watch the movie at home, it won't feel as special. But it still is awesome every time that roar comes on.

Yep, the composer from the original 1954 movie ran a leather glove covered in pine tar across the strings of a double bass.

Tbh the sound design is the best reason to watch this movie lol
I love how godzilla was more grounded than the followups and a lot of time was spent in mostly silence, where instead of being glued to characters youre glued to what the characters would see and hear as the monsters would move or fight.
Its some of the best sound ive ever heard in a movie and i honestly cant think of a movie that had better sound. Idk if they won an oscar but they deserved to.

I listened to his new roar on my phone with earphones, not even full volume, and I have some of the biggest chills I've ever had. Can't wait to try with full volume, and I probably can't even begin to imagine the shear awesomeness of it being in a dolby atmos theater!

This stands out to me since it focuses on humanitys last stand as well as the point of view on Godzilla. Sort of like a foreshadowing of action and the end of humanity.
What you hear is every bit as important as what you see (awesome line before the roar)

The only part I don't like about LegendaryGoji's roar, which i absolutely love, was both of the times I heard it, it dropped to below an audible frequency WAY too fast. I'd like to be able to hear it without being an elephant or something, thank you.
Of course, the part that I could hear [about maybe eight, twelve seconds] was pants-shitting gold. So many children broke down in tears the first time I went to see it. the fact that it carries for miles is great
