- Acting Public Protector, Adv. Kholeka Gcaleka says she won't bow to political pressure to speed up the #PhalaPhalaFarm investigation. Some political parties have complained that the investigation is taking too long. Gcaleka has taken over the investigation after Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane was suspended.

So I ask, what's still there to investigate? All she had to do was to interview all concerned. The Namibians authorities have confirmed everything. The thieves too have done the same. Respondents decide if they want to take reports on review. The question is if any of her reports were taken to court or not, again those reports were against which institutions. Fact is some reports are protecting public institutions.

Advocate Gcaleka is articulate, assertive and legally robust in the responses given and the general investigative process prescribed by the Public Protector Act. She is purposeful, deliberate and intentional in her pronouncements. She does not play to the gallery. She is not a hired gun but an absolute professional who is knowledgeable in the law and competent leader.
