- Early summer 2024.
Reggio, Louisiana.
Only 35 minutes south of New Orleans and only 15 minutes south of St. Bernard State Park.
Great places for fishing and camping and for enjoying the French Quarter.
9 redfish and 2 trout on the day … and 1 giant alligator.
Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy.
Bravo sir!! Bravo.....
Thank you as always!!!!
Much appreciated.
That one red pulled you in a circle! 😆 So much fun great times buddy! 🐊🐊
Thanks for watching and the comment. So much fun indeed.
Been enjoying your videos as well.
All the best ahead!!
I thought they shut that launch down, I’m going to have to start fishing there again. Reggio is awesome
Yep. Had been shut down for a long time. Now new launch and parking on the other side of the little bayou. $10. Awesome area. Good luck ahead.
Nice video Mark with lots of useful information. I hope my next trip down there is as good. Been waiting for this video to drop.
Thanks a lot Paul! Good luck at your end. Was cool seeing you the other day!
Hope again soon.
THERE IS SOME AWESOME FISHING IN THAT AREA! I CHUCKLED AT YOU LOOKING IN THE MARSH GRASS FOR GATORS! THERE IS A SPOT WE GO BACK THERE WHERE AT LEAST 15 OF THEM ARE IN THE CENTER OF THE CANAL AND YOU HAVE TO PASS THEM TO FISH!
Awesome. I love seeing those gators. Can’t wait to get back there and go even further down the canal if time allows.
Good luck at your end. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
The color on those reds were amazing! What a great day on the water. Im gonna figure out the kayak thing sooner or later. We still shopping around for some. Great video buddy! 🎣🎣🎣
Thanks a lot!
Reggio another great spot.
Smart to take your time with the kayak purchase and get the one that fits best for you and family.
That Native kayak (in the peddle version) is very good. A lot like my Old Town. Can’t go wrong with either of those. But as you are surely experiencing, there are SO many options out there.
Thanks for the comment.
Happy weekend ahead!
Mark how is the boat ramp their for kayaks
Boat ramp and parking excellent. Only challenge there is that entry canal can often have such a hard falling tide that it might make getting back to the launch VERY challenging. The water pours through there extremely fast. But then nice and smooth once you get around the first curve and closer to the main bayou.
Cheers!
Great I will go friday
@@johnkieffer4525 Good luck!! Hope to hear a great report!!
5 in the box lost 3 and missed 5
Ramp is very steep 😮
