It's hard to believe how they even come up with an attraction like this. It's amazing it's even possible to have your mind blown like that with everything going on. That was crazy.

MAJOR facts
Tommy Johnson Universal has been killing it lately. That Hagrid ride is pretty great.
PrimusPilusVorenus Hagrid has terrible theming. Why is a motorcycle on a track. That’s not immersive and a cheap way of making a ride. Also, the animatronics suck. Check out the unicorn.
Universal is adding coasters while Disney is adding simulators. Disney is for babies.

I was there for Day One of GE and I’ve got to say that they learned something from the virtual queue experience. This seemed to be a much easier flow of traffic and crowd management. A lot better than the 600 minute waits I saw that first day! Thanks for sharing.

It's so immersive and amazing. The effects from the hologram to the lightsaber through the roof, it's awesome! A Star Wars take on Mystic Manor. I wish it had the Child saying your name as you leave the ride like ET. I have spoken

This was a fantastic opening day. The early malfunctions were unfortunate but they resolved it quickly. The ride is spectacular, and I'm thankful for the imagineers doing such a remarkable job. I was standing by brayden most of the wait till my group was called and then he was a bit behind me. You're doing an excellent job, brayden!

The level of detail is beyond anything Disney or any amusement company has every produced. Taking a video of a video never looks good but these projection screens look amazing here so I can't wait to see what they look like live. The shadow effect ads a new level of realism to the projections. And speaking of detail. After watching several different videos I noticed the projection screens in the first transport change depending if it's day or night. Unbelievable. This should win Disney the ride of the decade. One another note. This should take the expectation strain off of Smugglers Run and add a new level of excitement to that ride also. Well done Disney.

No the wicked witch is in the pirates ride now. I think the next imagineering episode will talk about how they re use tech and where.

We got there around 7am,were in boarding group 68. We were on the ride by 2pm with almost no waiting! What an amazing experience. Kudos to Disney. Even with the minor challenges it was very well done.
16:26 “How is it doing that?” Well it’s because it uses these flaps that you cannot see with your bare eye. Right before the saber stabs through the ceiling, a little hole opens up which means a flap has opened. This is the same effect for the holes the bullets make for the blasters, when they shoot these flaps fall down visualizing that a stormtrooper has missed and shot something else. Same effect for the AT-AT more flaps and toward the end with Kylo REN there are bigger flaps that fall back with a screen behind them showing the outer space after the Tie-Fighter crashes into the Star Destroyer.
I will be there tomorrow and I am beyond excited for this experience! 🤩🤩🤩

I finally went on yesterday morning. I was group 14. It was such and amazing attraction. I didn’t know I didn’t have my notifications for the app on and I’m lucky I asked because they already had called it and I didn’t know. But it was so exciting. And definitely the highlight of my Disney trip.
