There’s nothing like riding ROTR for the first time with a huge Star Wars fan. Glad your father got to experience it.
My dad could not go the first time I went this past October. For a good reason he got a new Kidney and is immunocompromised. I can’t wait to take him on this.
I remember going with some friends and we were all Star Wars nerds and our face when that door opened was priceless.
He has the same look in his eyes that a little kid has...thats awesome!

Cute reaction. But man, you blew it by telling him when things were going to happen; "here comes the big reveal" "we've got to jettison ourselves, hold on". Would have been even better if he experienced that all without that warning.

My 83 yr old mom is a Star Wars super fan. When the original movie came out she took us (3 kids) to see it so many times. We saw all the movies. We had Star Wars birthdays. Lots of Star Wars toys. I remember when I went to college and she called me upset that “Luke” was missing. I couldn’t figure out who she was talking about. She had original figures in a Darth Vader head case and while a family with kids visited the house, it mysteriously disappeared, and no one ever admitted to it. She was so upset.
I would love to take her to Hollywood Studios but with Covid I’m not going to make her fly from Puerto Rico and expose herself to Covid traveling and in the park. So be it. Maybe some day. 🥺

I love this, you’re dad is so happy and a couple of time’s I started to well up at just the amazement on his face. I cannot wait to ride this next year (fingers crossed). It makes me so happy to see someone who is a massive fan have so much joy, it takes me back to 2018 and seeing the castle, Happily Ever After and riding Jurassic Park River Adventure for the first time and how I welled up so much during our two week trip as I was excited, amazing and so happy to be in Orlando x

Oh wow what a special video! I think he became 'Dad' to all of us watching to see such awe and amazement in his eyes. So happy he enjoyed it. I was excited to see his reaction to the storm trooper scene as he boarded lol.

I walked out of this ride with my jaw basically dragging on the floor...I am a huge Star Wars fan, I didn't know what to expect, I honestly thought the prisoner transport ship was the entire ride, the second the door next to me opened to reveal a stormtrooper platoon I was beyond amazed. Can't wait to go back...
The fact that they had to build the second half of the ride multiple times for all of the cars is insane

What I love about ROTR is how immersive it is. You're completely immersed into the star wars world as soon as you're in the room where Rey talks to you.

I know the sequel trilogy, especially _Rise of Skywalker,_ was disappointing for many fans. _But_ it led to the creation of the greatest theme park attraction yet built. If this ride was only half or a third as good, it would still be fantastic. Nothing compares to this anywhere. Nothing. Like your dad said, it’s not a ride, it’s an experience, a total experience. And this was a sweet reaction videos. Actually, these are the only kind of reaction videos I like when a person is just reacting naturally in real time and not trying to film everything. Great job. Great dad. Great son.

Got back from my trip to Disneyland after not having gone in 27 years. All I can say is the Avatar flight of passage and Star Wars rise of resistance literally took my breath away.
Try one clock in the morning. Me and my boyfriend woke up at 11 left my house at 12 and we were there at one.

I found the Transformers ride to be violent and jarring. Also the dark 3-D glasses made it harder to see what was on the screen. That ride made me seasick. I like Rise of the Resistance much better.

What experience that ride is enjoy the ride
The young lady at the end says she's from Jersey? New Jersey? Apparently, Disneyland had not instuted it's rule that only Cal residents could attend the park by Aug 2020. Now, according to Disney info on the internet, you have to show proof that you're from Cal to get into the park. Don't know how long they'll play that silly game. I'm in Az and I want to go on this ride. Meh.
