Purely looking only platinum best bet is just to sell pets without any melding or converting. But in the end it depends what exactly you want out of pet system. Im selling em all right away and using plat to boost my reso. Meanwhile i stumbled upon few dirty cheap rare ones and got em, and also on bond. Platinum profit from pets by just playing the game is pretty high and have okeyish rare ones.
I know this pet thing adds a new dimension of game involvement and a new focus but l can’t help but wonder how many hundreds of thousands of platinum you could have got instead of converting
So the big question, are you in profit after all this ? Seems like you got a 5 skills and a 6 skills, just not sure they are sellable for max like basic pets.

Omg. Thats 100% pure disappointment. DI partner program should report this. Free to play chance of getting rare/legendary pet is by luck. Don’t waste buying pets in the market to convert if you are low spender or free to play. Instead sell your pets, save the platinum and then buy in the market.
This is good for f2p cus what you advised is right, p2p sell their pets at max price, save plats, and buy what they need. Its the whales that will spend away the platinum, while f2p just strategically shop.
Once people actually understand that you can literally throw several hundred dollars at buying up pets in the market and get nothing from it after converting them all and getting nothing good out of it, things will have to change
I lost faith in this, I lost a lot of good pets trying to convert. I only run a basic cat pet just for shield, anything else I get I just sell it in marketplace.

i for sure made back what i put in and got 80 stones from end pact and sold the good ones.
Naah, you need better calculation man xD. Platinumwise you in a loss for sure. Putting conversion stone in a mix is something different though.

I've never seen one pet for sale from the NPC. People on my server are saying that there are bots buying them all out.
what are you trying to achieve? 170 stat pet? you need conversion stones dude.
Normal conversion is ok to get leg pet, i got mine from that. Conversion stone only guarantees leg skill.
Stones only work IF you already have a pet of the higher rarity to make sure it doesn't go below. Stat wise.
