  • Rope solo climbing a spectacular route in the Julian Alps.
    It was worth waking up early and having the whole mountain to myself.
    I took it easy today because I was sick the past week so I didn't want to push myself too much right of the bet.
    I'll be back next week with another epic adventure!
    Route info: Mali draški vrh - south face (Štacjon, 110m, VI-)

    I enojoy a lot your videos and you as a person, you always seems chill and respectful. Only one question from someone who's never climb in his life, how do you always get back your climbing carabiners? Only like the way in the video or there is some other options?

      Thank you brother 🙏
      When solo climbing this is the only way to collect your gear. You have to rappel back down and toprope climb or jumar back up…
      But when climbing with a partner he collects the gear as he climbs after you.

    Another lovely trip. I so enjoy the solitude , far away from overcrowded crags and footpaths - and more so as you climb alone. You are fortunate to have such mountains,( close to home presumably). Thank you.

    I was thinking that this rock is perfect to drill a hole for a cord and then 2 seconds later there it was :D
    Here in my country it's pretty common (we use 5mm cord with aramid/kevlar core to thread through it's more bomber than a bolt that way)

    8:48 knot meaning ?

    • @andrazegart
      @andrazegart  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Slip knot - in this case, it was used to hold the anchor in the right direction.
      But I also use it every 15-20 meters to stop the rope from having too much slack at the bottom.
      If you don't do any knots, then the weight of the rope could pull itself down (gravity) and create too much slack.
