    Thanks so much, another of your great adventures. Appreciate the talk on fear vs bad gut feeling and how experience teaches how to control fear.
    I fully agree, in climbing whether as trad or sport climbing on bolted routes on rock outdoors or indoor gym climbing I really don’t like falling even when I know I am on a rope and safe. On grades well inside my grade it’s a breeze but when pushing my limit (which is the high 5.10’s and into early 5.11’s but can be an easy grade if it has sketchy protection) I do feel fear.
    That melting couloir reminded me of my time in the Himalayas when you soon realise that they are giant choss piles glued together by ice.

    • @andrazegart
      @andrazegart  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Thank you!
      Yup, nothing is more scary than pushing your limits on sketchy protection. 😅
      Well the only thing that’s more scary to me is chossy routes and avalanches.
      Just like you said… our mountains are glued together with ice and snow haha. That’s why everything is falling apart as soon as it gets a bit warmer.

    Great Footage and words mate, the rock fall reminded me of the time I played Russian roulette across the Mont Blanc couloir du gouter (most dreadful sound from above). Interesting take on the mental side of the falling. Unfortunately witnessed someone fall directly in front on me not to long ago that didn't end well. Thankfully it hasn't stopped me climbing but certainly impacted confidence in no fall zones and high exposed areas as I'm instantly reminded of the fatality. Stay safe, look forward to the next one.

    Another hidden gem video from you, lovely :-). You and Bruno Pisani are my favourite climbing youtubers from Central-Europe :-). However Bruno became a bit cocky nowadays, he is a bit intoxicated by the fame but he is still doing good. You should team up with him sometime, he lives in Italy close to the Slovenian border.
    A few questions:
    What is your favourite mountain summit in your country?
    Have you climbed Jalovec and Jof Di Montasio? (Both are on my list for this summer...That would be great if you could join me to the Jalovec climb)
    For me it is enough to see your winter adventures, you inspire me...however I myself not the fan of winter hiking and climbing, the wind basically always blows, the weather is chilly and gets dark early. I am eagerly waiting for the spring/summer season when I will also venture out the wilderness :-).

      Although it would be cool to do a collab with him, I don’t really like to hike/climb with people I don’t know personally.
      Off, I couldn’t decide which one is my favourite… Jalovec is for sure the coolest looking, but a bit too crowded in the winter for my taste.
      I have climbed Jalovec before, but not yet Jof Di Montasio.
      I’m sorry, but as I already said, I don’t like to hike/climb with people I don’t know personally.
