Short Wirehaired Vizsla description:
The Wirehaired Vizsla is very athletic and muscular dog breed with average height between 54-64 cm, which is 21-25 inch and weight is usually between 20-30 kg, which is 45-65 pounds. Females tend to be slightly smaller and lighter than males.
The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla was bred to have a dense coat that will protect it from bad weather conditions and indeed, the Wirehaired Vizsla has a very dense, close lying, wiry and strong coat. The undercoat is water repellent. This dog is famous for their pronounced eyebrows and harsh beard, which gives them determined and kinda wise expression. The color of this breed is golden sand to russet. They can also have small white marks on the chest and feet.

Only thing stopping me from getting one, is their health problems. I've met a few and they were all so lovely.

He didn’t mention any health issues that other dogs are prone to. I’m fact, because of their relative rarity, WHVs have are predisposed to having fewer health issues that are now plaguing other overbred breeds. My male is 3.5 yrs old. No problems.
