- Watch the Gametrailers reaction to the 3 big announcements from Sony's E3 2015 press conference, plus the aftermath with a little bit of back story sprinkled in.
I was so moved last night I felt I needed to put together a video with everything all together with the conference audio and this is what I ended up with.

This video is meant to be a celebration of GT and the beautiful human being that is Michael Huber. If you want to criticize their professionalism or tell me my video is shit that's fine. But if you want to act like there's something wrong with him and you're some superior being that decides what's normal and not normal, then you can take that shit to one of the many other reaction videos and find some other "normal" people to talk to, because there won't be any here.

Szeth M. Dude, you should have spliced in some footage from GT Final Bets, where Huber and Bosman made some very dramatic bets about The Last Guardian and Shenmue III.
Kizaru It definitely crossed my mind, don't really remember why I didn't, I was pretty sleep deprived because of E3 while I made this lol. Watching it back yeah, I probably could have opened with it.
edit: Actually, I remember. It's because it was a bit long and I was trying to set the tone with the emotional stakes of the whole thing and not the, while great and entertaining, silly stakes of the bets.

Szeth M. Well said! It was just as fun for me to see the reactions as it was to hear the announcements. I also loved the fact that you posted the videos from Huber Hype and Final Bosman...that really set the stage for the reactions! Also, the E3 2015 Betting Special loomed large for these announcements. Bosman lost his final bet (no Last Guardian release date) and Huber won his (Shenmue III announced at any press conference).

I loved the fact that they were JUST getting over the FFVII-R announcement, just barely even started paying attention to the screen again and then BOOM. SHENMUE 3 bitches! * queue madness *

My god....all they had to do was finish the universe off by announcing Half Life 3. The time space continuum would be shattered. The force of destruction and chaos would have been equivalent to the results of summoning Bahamut Zero, Eden, and Knights of the Round all at the same fucking time.

There are people who don't understand the raving fanaticism many of us have for these games.
Final Fantasy VII shaped many lives, attitudes, career choices, for young adults at a very impressionable time. The excitement is well warranted.
If I ever feel sad, all I'm gonna do is come to this video, put it on 10:15 and be happy again.

Blows my mind how anyone could say Microsoft "won E3" after the triple-punch of Sony announcing "The Last Guardian", "Shenmue 3" and the "Final Fantasy VII" remake. You have two pieces of gaming ROYALTY that nobody expected would ever happen with FF and Shenmue, and one of the most eagerly-anticipated on-and-off titles of the past decade with Last Guardian. You really just can't beat that, no matter how hard you try.
It's all the 13 year old casuals who are like "DUR HALO AND GEARS OF WAR ARRREEE BETTERRR DUR"

***** My only issue is that, frankly, properties like "Halo" aren't inherently exciting, since we know it's going to happen, and be more-or-less more of the same. Also, "Battlefront" is multi-platform, and backwards compatability, while cool, isn't exactly a revolutionary concept. It's fine if you don't personally care about FFVII or Shenmue, but the fact of the matter is, they are treasured properties. A few people's disinterest doesn't change the fact that a majority are ecstatic about them, and that they are HUGE deals.
Sega (Tradition), Sony (Mix), Square Enix (Modern). Who gonna win against the "S3" of gaming industry when they used all their trump cards in one press conference? No one. So i agree with anybody who said Sony held the greatest E3 conference ever.
MaximumMadnessStixon Indeed. There were no surprises in Microsoft's press conference like Sony did. Sony dropped bombs three times and that is something I did not remember in Microsoft's Press conference. I would still by an Xbox one though :)

My dreams were for the FF7 remake although I admit, I've stopped banking on that dream a long time ago so this was quite shocking.
My other dream was for Sony to announce they've somehow resurrected Konami's Silent Hills project for the Morpheus
Huber is a beautiful human being. See guys, THIS is what games are meant to do! Bring people together, make them have fun, make memories and touch the hearts of many.
These can be trying times in a modern, cynical world of video games where we have pre order DLC, annual franchise cash grabs, contrived controversy, questionable journalism, and games releasing in an unfinished state.
But every now and then we're reminded of why this hobby means so much to us.
This is the beauty of video games. Great conference. Heartfelt reactions. An E3 to remember.

I love watching this. Huber is a true gamer and actually shows real enthusiasm unlike other gaming journalists. I get teary eyed every time I see him so fucking happy. If FFVI ever gets a HD remake That will be me when he found out about Shenmue 3.

Final Fantasy VII hasn't aged well because the story sucks and the characters are shit. Just because it has shitty polygonal graphics to boot doesn't mean it deserves a remake more, it deserves to be forgotten. I would like to play a feature rich open world version of FFVI, that world and those characters are still amazing.

This is the single greatest reaction video I've ever seen, it brings tears to my eyes almost every time I watch it. I play video games because of this, I've grown up with the media for 35 years simply for this. There's never been a greater show in the history of E3 for video games, I'm still in awe 5 years later.

Thanks for putting this together with previous GT videos. You can tell they saw the tweets from Yu Suzuki of forklifts photos before E3. There's only so much teasing or false alarms a fan of any of the 3 series can take before breaking down when the news breaks. As a fan of ALL 3 series, I know their reaction was very appropriate and HUMAN. I shed a few tears myself. Thank you for cutting this together.

I was JUST talking to my wife this morning (breakfast and GT has been a tradition for years) about how someone needs to compile Huber/Bosman's E3 reactions with their respective Huber Hype/Final Bosman segments. Perfectly executed, just as I had imagined it! I also LOVED when Kyle said "suck it, cynics" and you flashed that Giant Bomb logo. I can't stand jaded, bitter games journalism. If you've lost the passion for the medium, LEAVE. On the other hand, the genuine enthusiasm for gaming at GT is infectious. By far my favorite gaming site... I just wish they still had Sluss and Ryan, but an amazing crew none the less.

I've been following the GT crew for a couple of years now, the way Bosman, Huber, Jones, Elyse & Ian report on videogames is genuinely refreshing and entertaining, they all have such passion for videogames and are effortlessly funny. Knowing that, I'd still never have guessed that their E3 livestream would be so fun to watch this year. They just continue to win me over every day. Good job guys. I have watched this so many times and it still makes me cry for happiness. We need more people like this who arent scared to show how they feel about games they want.
Start of 2021 and things have been rough but hopping onto this video and watching the genuine joy and excitement still makes ME joyful and excited. So glad they let themselves just be in the moment and enjoy.

I've been watching GT since 2008, and those guys are like family to me. Since what happened last year with the layoffs, these guys really needed something like this. I felt happy for them, and I also wanted to share this enthusiasm with them. This was really something special. Thanks for this great vid!
Really genuine reaction for the Shenmue 3 annoucement. It's like listening to something that you have heard long time ago, and sudden realization on why is it so familiar.

I was so excited and moved to tears and shout at the same time upon seeing the teaser of FFVII remake, unbelievably. Just when I am still trying to calm down from the excitement, shenmue 3 announcement appeared, I died and revived of happiness immediately. See the GT crew are as excited as anyone of us and they are not afraid to show their excitement in front of the camera. Salute to everyone in GT.

I'm fairly certain that out of every E3 and every press conf. This, this Sony press conf. was the best of all time.
