I own a white 2018 LC500. It's everything this guy says it is. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. It's worth every penny.
Lucky man
Mine is on the way, I too bought one, 2018 performance package just like this one, infrared with black interior. Will be driving it hopefully in 10 days :)
@Frank Crooker Every new car looses a bundle when it's driven off the lot. I didn't buy it as an investment, but Lexus maintains a great resale value. My SC430 sold for about 1/4 of what I paid for it after 10 years.
Yes, it's a great grad tourer.
@Frank Crooker Can you tell me how you know that? My GS and SC held their value quite well. Perhaps I should get one of those crystal balls you have.
I also own a 2018 V8 LC (Infrared) and I totally agree with you and the reviewer.
The LC500 is the car we didn’t we know we
needed. Old school NA V8, RWD, and a long
hood. Not to mention the fantastic exhaust
note that since it’s not interrupted by a turbo.
And the gorgeous interior, along with Lexus reliability. All it needs now is AWD, and of course the new touchscreen from the 2020 Lexus RX (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto). A convertible variant would be nice too (Lexus already confirmed that an LC convertible is coming).
Are we talking about a 90-94 LS 400?
@@WFGFanatic No silly, we're talking about the Lexus LC500.
Just like the '98 GS400. That car has treated me so gawd damn good.
@DARIEL RAMOS Of course they are! Thank you for the reminder. I think Lexus should use a supercharged V8 instead of a turbocharged V8, the exhaust would sound much better with a supercharged or naturally aspirated V8, V10, or V12.
Lexus of Lexington,, perfect city name for a Lexus dealership
Just need a sales rep named Alexis lol
Better if it came with a UK Cheerleader.
Or Toyota of Tacoma
Hyundai of Santa Fe
lol
Toyota actually builds some really kickass V8s. Had a Tundra with the TRD exhuast and I remember merging on the highway between 3 and 5k rpm that truck had a tone like you hear in nascar. Sounded so savage.
I’ve had a black in black LC500 for nearly 2 years - absolutely love it.
Just one note, the door handles and shift paddles are Magnesium not aluminium 😉
why did you get rid of it?
My 2018 InfraRed with Toasted Caramel is the nicest car I've ever owned...by a lot. And, I've owned quite a few really nice cars. I upgraded the infotainment system to include Apple Car Play. It's available at the Lexus dealership for $200. I considered all the options and for me it didn't make sense to get the Performance Package with the wing, rear wheel steering and the 21" wheels. Mostly it was the wheels that scared me off because living in the S.F. Bay Area means you're living in Pothole, USA. California's leadership has gone to the dogs and the roads seem to be the lowest priority of all. They are much more concerned with providing needles to the thousands of homeless than fixing the decaying infrastructure. So, the idea of a 21" wheel with .00001" of rubber between my rims and the asphalt foxholes seemed rather stupid. The 20" look every bit as nice (to me) and so far, so good. No harm has come to the rims. The LC500 is under priced IMHO. It is so well made and so beautiful inside and out it really should cost twice the price. You can drive it comfortably all day long. The gas mileage isn't bad at all. I use the NORMAL mode of driving 80% of the time but for those infrequent moments when you just have to "get on it", Sport + is awesome. The car looks really good in the video but when you actually see one in person, stand next to it, sit in it and drive it....it's a whole different experience. You will fall in love. There is nothing like these on the planet.
Excellent review, beautiful car inside and outside. Also, I love the fact that Lexus didn't copy the other brand when it comes to the design, Lexus made the LC500 look and feel unique inside and out which distinguishes it from the competition, which by the way also includes the Aston Martin DB11 which is at least triple the price of the Lexus LC500.
Here in Indonesia the maintenance complimentary is 5 years long, no matter how far you drove, no limit range ;) and special parking spots only for lexus cars at certain malls, hotels and buildings :D

By far my favorite Lexus coupe and that exhaust sound is bananas! Havent seen you guys look so happy in a car
It's one of the best cars out there so we couldn't help our excitement 😀
The LC500 is an amazing luxury & sports coupe, I have always enjoyed your Toyota/Lexus reviews as well as others. Great review!
Gorgeous inside and out I especially love the old school N/A V8 Excellent review
2020 is coming from NJ to me in MA this week. Can’t f*cking wait
The point is the Lexus LC 500 is one of the world's best cars ever made
thanks for the helpful review, can’t wait for my LC to arrive in a few weeks!
The smiles on these guys faces says it all. This is a once in a generation car. Naturally aspirated is the way to go. Sad we have to remind folks of that.
I own a 2019 LC500. Absolutely an incredible machine. A Lexus quality build with an attitude! Videos cannot truly relay how awesome the na V8 really sounds.
Rob Kimura what color?
@@richl1319 Atomic Silver/Black w/ Performance Package
Hey, I'm looking at LC500 and E 400 cabrio (and maybe LC cabrio as it is announced). How would you compare versus an E Class convertible on the 2 points: the usability (rear and cargo space) and the comfort of ride (silence, smoothness on bumps, ability to absorb road shocks and vibration)?
Rob Kimura that’s incredible it’s one of my choices when I finish school
@@leborde I test drove a C63 S and man it's fast. In race mode the car is sick. But, when it came down to it, it still looks like a Mercedes. Nothing outwardly exciting IMHO vs. the looks of the LC. Performance wise, the C63 S wins hands down.
The LC won because I chose reliability over performance. Now others may not and I get that. But for me, I'll take Lexus reliability and quality.
The future LC500 Cab has been getting some push back from the LC community. It will be a rag top, not a hard top. The complaint is that the unique style and looks of the LC Cab will make the car lose its special look. I can see what they are saying but the car would be sweet with its top down.
I had a funny experience with the E400 just yesterday. I was following behind one and the first thought was an older woman, +55 with to much of a fake tan. I had a chance to pull up to her and I was wrong. She was +65, hair dyed blonde white and face that looked like she had been laying on a tanning bed for to long. In my area, its the popular choice for mature aged women. Just my observation.
I don't think you can make a bad choice either way. Prioritize what is important to you, price, performance, looks, innovation, reliability... etc...
Enjoy the process!
Oh, Jeez, I just love this car! Every video that I have watched about the LC makes me laugh and also grin from ear to ear upon hearing that V8 exhaust note! It sounds just lovely! Nice job on this video, Drew and Mason!
Ikr! You can't help but smile when you hear that exhaust!
Very well explained and very clear. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed! It was a fun video to make, so we certainly enjoyed!
Fantastic Car, it is the best grand tourer in my opinion. I Love everything about this coupe, they did a fantastic job. its aged well cant believe it was released in 2017!
Excellent review. Thank you. I kept wondering whether the other guy was gonna get to drive. Hopefully he drove it off camera because it looks like such an amazing driving experience that one shouldn’t be left out of 😄
Amazing review I always enjoy your videos
Thanks! Hope you have a great weekend!
Nice simple but thorough and thoughtful review, well done and thanks for the content, gonna keep driving my 1999 sc400 until i can afford one of these 😀
This car is seriously something special and misunderstood. People need to drive one to truly appreciate it. And that exhaust is phenomenal 👍
Right! This isn't a numbers car, it's an experience car!
Sleepless... I've become a car enthusiast in the last year. I'm retired. I have time to do what I choose. I find most current "news" in general is depressing and skewed. I find auto reviews and news on the other hand mesmerizing, educational, and menially energizing. You two were one of my early finds and I began to follow you with growing respect. I value your combination of detail, commentary and opinion - your Venn-like (diagram) dialectic. I think auto tech is the non-military frontier of applied science, technology, beauty and utility - with escapism as frosting. I have been, over several decades a student of human nature, psychology, marketing, speech, creativity, negotiation / persuasion and technology. I find emergent tech irresistible. And have since first assembling a mail order PC offered to the public in the early 70s. At school I was introduced to business operations and through it to Fortran, Cobol, and eventually to C+, VB, Dos, etc. (software, hardware, admin / production operations, marketing, science, human nature, etc., are all operant factors in modern business and social outcomes) I never practice programming, I just follow it. My interests have always exceeded my model brain. But I was hooked on science, IT, tech, operation and marketing. Now I am hooked on interesting well told auto tech and auto performance stories and personalities. You both helped introduce me to the genre (online auto information and review). Thank you. I look forward to watching you both expand your reach, depth, influence and prosperity. Build in on integrity, insight, candor. I enjoyed this review and you both.
You're too kind! 😁
Wow! Amazing vehicle! Japanese have done a stunning job! ☝️☝️☝️❤️💙💜
I'll get this before bmw,Mercedes or jaguar. Quality, elegant, body lines and power!
That interior is just insane. I like the red and black best.
Another nice video! Thanks guys!
I just test drove the LC 500 on Saturday! It was impressive in all regards. Lexus is one of the few manufacturers who still use NA engines I really like that about them

leborde there’s about a 40k price difference there I think 🙄
@@islandknight6105 I mean with options, an E400/450/43 is 100k.
I just bought a 2024 Lexus LC500 CONVERTIBLE and the color is atomic silver red interior and black soft top and i been wanting one for long time i had a LS500 2022 but i had a bad reck so my car was total. I ran into your vlog and i sure did love and enjoyed it thanks for shareing because your car is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous i love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Lexus cars they r the best for me❤❤❤❤
Amazing choice, we love the LC!
Howdy, awesome review as always!😸😸
Thanks and have a great weekend!
Man even my 1992 Lexus sc400 can inspire me to do great things, one day I will get this car.
This right here is a DB11 slayer it looks even better and thats saying alot!
Hoot that nanny then holla back. Great review george!
😂😂
Lexus is my choice while LC remains my mega choice sport car
Just because it’s a sports car doesn’t mean we don’t want to know the decibel rating. Literally my favorite part of your reviews as i am mostly for luxury with a little sport. I own a S63 Coupe and it’s the quietest right I’ve ever heard in my life lol
Yeah the Lexus is a Really Nice Car I had Lc 300 Beautiful Ride and It came Standard Stick Shift!!!!!
Omg my other dream car Tesla Model S P100D and Lexus LC500 Great Review and Happy Friday.

Awesome! We really appreciate that! Welcome to the Car Confections'family'! 🙂
@@CarConfections Thank you. Keep up the good work.
Cost more but spec wise mostly the same as RCF, any advantage of this model?
Great review, 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks! 😁
Damn this is dope!
I just love that interior
The LC500 is such a beautiful vehicle. It's built to last with a superior level of quality and reliability that puts most other luxury offerings to shame and the 5.0 V8 is unarguably one of the best na engines in the entire industry. If I was going to nitpick anything it would be that it's missing absurdly still Android Auto and the car's weight. Nearly 4300 lbs for a car of this size is a bit ridiculous. However, I understand that Lexus spared nothing in designing the LC and all that technology adds weigh, so it's a relatively small gripe considering how luxurious and well-equipped it is, overall. I could definitely see myself owning an LC and, in fact, one of these will probably be my retirement gift to myself in a few years.
This vehicle is pure sexiness 😍
Did your check these guys driving permits before they took her for a ride...? Great review boys.
WOW LOVE THE V8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great review, but I can't believe you guys didn't put it in its loudest mode. Why didn't you try sport plus? It really makes a difference. I'm not personally disappointed because there are plenty of videos demonstrating the difference, but you guys seem to enjoy the sounds you heard, and I feel like you really missed out on hearing what the car is truly able to produce.
Darn!
beautiful car
This car has to have the best 3/4 view.
I'm buying this car this year in flare yellow when i hit the lottery no cap
How would you compare versus an E Class convertible on the 2 points: the usability (rear and cargo space) and the comfort of ride (silence, smoothness on bumps, ability to absorb road shocks and vibration)?
Unfortunately we have not been in an E-class coupe yet to compare. Sorry ☹️
I dont know if its the world's best GT (probably) but it is absolutely the most beautiful
Aston Martin, Bentley?
Hopefully the NSX review coming next
Nice video. Do you have any idea when the LC 500 will get a touchscreen?
Thanks! Lexus hasn't announced anything official but if I had to guess, it'll be when the LC gets refreshed probably for 2023 model year
This is sick! Also my fav color & wheels combination great video! Also. What my is ur camry mine is a MY2016
It's a 2010
@@CarConfections what is it a LE i'm guessing or is it?
@@AmeerHamza-nv2ei yup. What about yours?
@@CarConfections xle 4 cyliender fully loaded! Has been bulletproof reliable so far..... color white with black leather
@@CarConfections and pls tell me what is your trim model?
Great car love the engine noise and design. It's a Lexus no issues at all. Its most be a beautiful hot day to review this beast nice legs
Super nice car 😍
This is why lexus is rated highly among classy people of all wealth levels.
Beautiful car
Sure would have made a sublime Supra...can’t figure out why they didn’t use it. Beautiful car. Great review as always. My AE86 Corolla liftback had more rear legroom-used to carry four passengers quite often. That’s pretty disappointing when you think about it.
Because Toyota wanted it to be light and under 3400lbs while this weights over 4,000lbs and most of the public mainly wanted a straight six and Toyota but going full electric soon wouldn't make sense to make a straight six so they went to the only car brand that's made straight sixes for the longest and co developed the mk5 and it pretty much just looks like a shortened and modernized Toyota 2000gt mixed with a wingless mk4 or a TVR Griffith look alike. While the LC is more of a succesor of the Toyota soarer/Lexus SC300 since it was a heavy luxury coupe that was rwd with both a 8 and 6 cylinder engine options just like the LC500 does.
@Carboy Dorifuto party I’m way more impressed with the LC than the new Supra. Why not let the 2JZ evolve one more time? I’m really concerned with the BMW’s reliability. Specifically oil consumption. “Normal Operation” to burn a quart of oil every 1500 miles might cut it in the BMW service drive, but not at Toyota.
Lets see how it does. Maybe LC successor and Supra will get a common platform next time, which can use electric, I4, I6, V6, and V8
@@2W3X4YZ5 tbf I barely have any interest in the LC and its just going to get completely ignored by most of the community like most of the other lexuses for just being known as a reliable coupe and noting else afterword. And the 2j had its chance to shine and for once something else needs some light since no one pays any attention to the 1UZ nor the 1FZ Which are good engines just like the 2j but got heavily out shined by it. The 2j has had enough spotlight as it is and it'd be nice if people would pay attention to the 1FZ and 1UZ but that seems to not be happening just like the TB48,S55, and the Barra that are also heavily ignored and out shined by the 2j which is the main reason why I like the mk5. It's "different" and isn't anywhere close to the mk4 which is mainly why I like it. And I love straight sixes with a passion and this having a BMW straight six makes things even more interesting. Also the B58 rarely experiences problems unless it's the car it's in that normally has the problems. The last I looked they only had coolant problems(which were fixed way back in 2017)and the mk5 has a more up to date version B58 than any other.
Great! What’s the price for this car at Lexington? Thanks! Good Job.
Thanks again! This specific one is just over $106,000
A concept car you can buy!
Irish strongman Lexus O'Flexington showing us his cars.
Nice video
Thanks! 🙂
am 16 and this is my dream car.... I'll be buying one of these in d next 5-10 years by that time it be 1/4 d price it is today😁
It's reliable enough that it won't depreciate that much.
Awesome car. It is almost time for me to get my sports car. I am torn between the Lexus LC500 and the Jaguar F-Type SVR. I also do like the Acura NSX but it is much more than the other two. Everyone please feel free to leave your recommendations and suggestions. Thank you.
Sujal Patel I’d go LC it’s like a concept car and it stands out
What makes this car unique is that the interior looks different than any other lexus, the German cars all have similar interiors
BadAss 🤘🎸
I would buy one next year.
How does the exhaust note compare to the RC F’s NA V8?
About the same, both are sick!
Can the trunk take a golf club bag? Thank you
LEXUS LC IT'S BEST DREAM CAR 😍👌👍
Ameziiiiing
Easily the most beautiful touring coupe on the road.
For sure. Inside and out.
While other 'status cars' will hang around endlessly in the garage/shop. The LC will be reliable and classic for years and years to come!
And you get great customer service from Lexus. You can always get someone on the phone to help you, they treat you well, and they make you want to refer your friends.
I don't think that the white paint color does this car justice the nori green paint option is absolutely stunning
Yes it is !!!!!
Such a elegant monster throw a turbo on it nothing will beat it
I like the black and the blue..
Is the new Corvette better?
Damn I want one that is one sexy beast of a car
How much does it cost?
How much you guys paid to rent the car?
Seriously thinking about this in a convertible form to compliment my GS-F
This car would look SO much nicer if they'd get rid of those plastic exhaust cutout shell things and went with twin chrome or black tips on each side.
It should have came with flying doors and electric push button door opening after all its a luxury car.
yes
One day i will own one.
Do a video on the new 2020 Corvette
If one comes around we will!

It’s the redesign
29:00 - Too bad there's no one following in another car filming from the outside. This would give potential buyers an awesome idea of the size of the LC500 next to commonly seen cars on the road.
Should have nailed the throttle on that on ramp.
