  • Hello Folks,
A few months ago, many viewers emailed me to express their interest in traditional Japanese carpentry, to show the most genuine view of traditional technology and its importance to present life. We decided to make these videos about the direct work of workers and carpenters at The Conservation of Buildings.
    #japanesewoodworking #traditiontechnique #craftsmanship
This video was recorded on my phone and my friends. I have written the script, adding new effects and music to create a new creation.
Today, this video may be more appealing because of the appearance of incredible traditional technology that shows up in the video: "Japanese Woodworking Skills are Truly Amazing Absolutely Mesmerised by Their Craftsmanship" ► Become a member of this channel to get access to perks:

These techniques most likely only exist because Japan is so historically poor in natural resources and mostly consists of mountainous forest and shoreline, with few plains and valleys in between. Iron had to be extracted from iron sand or scarce ore deposits and was precious, so Japanese carpentry developed using simple tools and almost no nails at all.
