Thank you so much for 30k, I still can't believe all you wonderful people are here to watch me! xx For this weeks video I didn't even make my way through half the questions you all asked! So I'm definitely going to have to make a part 2 to answer all the questions from my CZcams community post! :) I hope you enjoy this longer than usual video and I hope I have answered some questions that you have been wanting to know!

Was full on dressed 1940s and I had a ww2 vet whistle at me and say now that’s a dame, made my day.
The way your face lit up when you started talking about James was so endearing. You both seem so sweet together; never change.
I love your channel, and I feel that the 40’s and 50’s area suit you. I a lot of times feel as if I were born in the wrong era. I adore the times when a lady was treated as a lady and a gentleman was a gentleman, escorting a lady home, holding the door, pulling out the chair, and a couple had to have a chaperone, I wish that I had had a chaperone, things in my life might be a bit different/ better. But the fashion that both men and women wore then, they had pride in their appearance. My Grandmother was an excellent example of that, she was always done up nicely; her outfit, accessories, hair and makeup. She never left the house unkept, nor did my grandfather. I miss them so much.
I agree! I have a lot of confidence too with my style and a big part of it is in modesty- kind of a vintage mocked word but there is definitely a dignity and self respect about it. I love your channel! ❤️

You could probably make a nice living starting a business selling affordable vintage-inspired clothes in Australia and New Zealand. I feel it's becoming a popular look but there's not a lot of options in Aus/NZ and we're forced to shop internationally. Any you find locally in physical shops can cost up to $150 per piece, ouch!

I agree. Her swimsuit came out perfect. She could easily start a business within a year.
She actually has said before that the most she’s ever paid for a vintage piece is around $40-$50 and she finds most things in opp shops which I find extremely endearing and special. I don’t think her calling is making clothing except for making things for herself. She’s going to make a nice living on CZcams I mean, she already is. I would hate for her to stop living her passion to make clothes for others but just my opinion
@@justlikehoney1859 Op shopping doesn't work for plus sized people :( I agree that I'd hate for her to lose her passion but some peoples' passions grow when they make it their livelihood. Or someone else could always pick up the idea

Totally agreed that something tailored and lovely can make a person confident. Revealing clothes and butts hanging out of swimwear is not for everyone nor should be made to feel like it (in my opinion).

Hi, Sage - Retired nurse from NYC here. I love to watch your videos and I’m so pleased that you’re planning to go to nursing school. Even if you don’t do it all the time, nursing is pretty flexible and you can work part-time. And once you have your nursing license, you always have it. It can be a great career. I worked in a neonatal unit for 47 years and was very happy doing that. Retirement has been an adjustment but I’m getting there!! You have a great upbeat personality for a nurse. Good luck with your schooling!!

I do own an original Miami Art Deco dining room set that my husband “thinks” we getting rid of! 😡
And my mothers original Buffet cabinet. Many decor pieces and can’t wait to be decorating more in our style in the future!

1000% agree! Idk if she is still studying nursing, but if she thought nutrition was hard, nursing is a million times harder! Nurses are tired and burnt out since the pandemic started and the stress level is unreal. It’s definitely a career that most people are dissatisfied with right now. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to go into the medical field at this time. I’ve learned the hard way that if you don’t do what makes you happy, you will dread going to work every single day and that’s no way to live your life.

I live in the Northeast in America and cold Christmas is all I know! I'd like to have a summer Christmas maybe once! I love the cold cozy feel though and when we actually get snow it's so magical.

I gotta tell you. Hearing someone else say they stopped school and started a new bachelors because their heart wasn't in it is definitely helping me. I was doing a bachelors in Anthropology and decided to drop out because my heart wasn't in it anymore. I'm just really glad I'm not alone.

I curled my hair a few days ago (oh boy do I need to practice! 😅) following one of your videos. The curls ended up falling by the end of the day despite two rounds of hairspray because it’s so humid here lol. It was fun though and I liked how it turned out. Yes there are crowds at every seafood market in Australia for Christmas.
And at the shops as well! I used to work in a deli at one and it was insane. Could never keep up with the demand!

I didn't know it was an Australian tradition to have a seafood dinner for Christmas. That's so interesting. I'm in the US and we've had a big crab leg dinner for Christmas my whole life. I think the tradition was started by my grandma in the 70s (long before I was born) but it's such a treat for us.

@@sarahg5204 Looking on Pinterest for antique decor styles is a great place for inspiration! You can look up different eras and see what styles of decor they had 100 years ago! Once you know what you sort of antique piece/style you are looking for, you can shop around in Antique stores and even online through Etsy! (I know they have some great things on Etsy) 😊

My uncle, my mothers brother, lived in Melbourne for several years i think in the 70,s, and one of their christmas card was them on the beach grilling. They said that is what they did on christmas day and they had shrimp. Being in the U.S. we thought it was strange because we used to live in the eastern part of the country where is was always cold and my mother said we always had snow for christmas. However that christmas of the Australian Christmas card we were living in California and we decided that wasn't as strange to us because California does get cold by the ocean but mostly it was I think the highs were in the 60's.

If you hair is slippery, you can add a touch of water on the ends so it is more manageable to wind up! X
