The fact that LF aren't in the HoF means that it don't mean a thing. Some great actors never get an Oscar, but that doesn't diminish their talent. Just means some judges got custard for brains...

You got that right. There are many, many talented people who aren't better known either because they didn't fit the music business' idea of what would sell, or they just weren't in the right place at the right time to get noticed. That doesn't change the reality of their talent. Hats off to all the fine musicians who keep playing for the love of it, whether they become famous or not.

When I was at RRHOF last June LF had almost half of the exhibit dedicated to '70s L.A. Sound' with thier stuff, including two Lowell George Strats. How can The Eagles, Jackson Brown and Linda Ronstadt be in there, and not LF? Fucktardary... BTW put in Eric Johnson and Joe Satriani before they die, or worse yet can't play.

Little Feat has, by far, been my favorite concert (early ’76). Stood 10 floor rows back. Early on I got so 'energized' I managed to coax about 400 people behind me to get up off the floor and join the party. A newspaper article the next day stated how awesome LF was and how they out-performed the headliner, ELO. We left after their first song. As ELO sings “Don’t Bring Me Down”! Well they did! Sorry ELO fans. Just not a match. Outpunched. Grateful Feat fan.

I briefly met him once , after an Atlanta show ( 2009 , maybe??) Really easy goin , nice guy - I tried to see if LF may be interested in playing a festival in our home town , on the waterfront- we had had Blues Traveler the year or so before- he said , sure - only problem was the county wasn’t willing to pay any premiums for entertainment that coming year . It would’ve been a heck of a show if The Feats could’ve played!!

I'm a very old keyboard player, 55 years playing in every kind of semi-pro band. I've played with terrible drummers, competent drummers and one or two very good ones. But Ritchie Hayward was simply magnificent. On a different level. And Little Feat the best band I ever saw. I was in the audience on this video. Unforgettable.

Wonderful. So far behind the beat and perfect for this band. Not many drummers could do what he did and stand out. Always trying new things and throwing new beats into the mix. I love just watching him. His suffering as he endured his fatal illness was a tragic example of the disasterous U.S. medical system. He looked a great, happy, wild guy

Bonnie is a female Lowell, LMAO!!! 11-09 or 11-08 was Bonnie's 70th birthday & the college or community station played a lot of her stuff. Sounded great! I always liked her attitude with that Strat & that patch of gray hair! Very cool! I wish some of the newer female artists would learn a lesson & get down when they play & sing. I saw this show at Honolulu University Amphitheater June of 1978 and this to this day one of the greatest concerts I've ever witnessed. I was visiting my dad for a few months after graduating from HS and decided to go by myself and as I sat down next to people I didn't even we all had the best time, singing, dancing and oh boy did we party!!! it was one of the best times of my life. You know if you ever want to go back to a moment in time, this is one of those times. If anyone has a video of one or two moments please post. Little Feat was the best.

Look up Just One Look, Live From Hollywood 1980, by Linda. It opens w the camera on Billy’s fingers banging out the opening chords. Everyone wanted him in their band. This was a great band Linda had assembled too, in ‘80. Danny Kootch, Bob Glaub, Kenny, Kunkel, Waldman. The cd is great. I highly recommend grabbing one.

The best Little Feat line-up with special guest Mick Taylor (former Rolling Stones) and the best Tower of Power horns ever (Emilio Castillo, Doc Kupka, Greg Adams, Lenny Pickett & Mic Gillette). This is a historical event! Greetings from Portugal.

My girlfriend (now wife) went with me to see them in concert then she was hooked. Seen them live at least 10 times and never disappeared. They played at a concert hall/club Bohager's and somehow met Paul Barrere and Richie Hayward and talked to them for 45 minutes or more. What a thrill. They deserve to be in the rock and roll HOF.

They even surpassed my high expectations. I do miss Lowell.I have seen them perform a couple times since his passing and while they are always very good, it was just not the same magic.
