Thanks for creating these videos! I am a newie in car audio, and recently upgraded my basic bmw audio system (no amp, no tweeters, etc) with a Match set (DSP-AMP + 2-way component system in the doors with + coaxial in the back + 2 subwoofers under seats), and going through the DSP Configuration the installer left I believe it's not ok, so wanted to see if you can help me with couple of questions. In the video I see that you have setup FRONT high; FRONT MID and FRONT LOW; this means that you have each AMP out connected directly to each speaker? (ie A to tweeter, B to tweeter, C to Mid, etc). Because in my case, for the front, having a 2-way component system with the crossovers, I need to send the complete range of frequencies, correct?
Great informative video.. do you have any recommendation for focal inside with match up7bmw amp? Also I am noticing since the amp installed blinkers are loud and hearing small noise from speaker when music is not playing. Thanks
Running full active tweeters, how do you keep from overpowering them if you're running tweeters rated for less than the amp puts out per channel? I'd presume it's a gain setting. Any insight you can provide is appreciated.
The only way you get the full wattage out of a, let’s say 75 watt amplifier, is if you turn the gain all the way up. You could run a 1000watt mono block on a tweeter if you want to. That doesn’t mean it will be 1000watts all the time unless you open the gain all the way up to push 1000watts
Is bypassing the HPF on the subwoofer a good idea? My GB10D4 for example has a frequency response of 24-200Hz so wouldn't I not want it trying to reproduce 10-20Hz freqs if it isn't able to? One other thing, why do you use Subwoofer 1 and 2 as the input? I have mine set to Subwoofer L and R on inputs E and F. Are those just arbitrary labels?
No need for a hpf because you want the sub to roll of naturally on the bottom end. Also remember the software has slightly changed, these videos are multiple years old so maybe no it does say sub L R
Time alignment needs to be done after you’re finished tuning. The best way to Dex I’ve it is like putting a motor at top dead center. You add and remove time to the speakers to align them in the center of the dash board. Showing you in a video won’t work. Needs to be done in person

try 150hz with 24db, mine are focal es100k

How about 7 channel
Front speakers are same line with tweeters
👍

I still has Subwoofer 1-4 tags. But further down Subwoofer L and R are also choices.
and do you set your crosovers on you amp also?
No. That would be redundant.
I have my speaker and tweeter woth crossover how do i set the dsp i have the helix mini
You only set the high pass crossover
@@JosiahBuwalda and do i need to put bypass on the lps for the speakers and the hpf bypass for the subs?
Sir can show us hkw to time allign?
