  • In this Ninh Binh, Vietnam travel vlog I share how I could afford to travel the world full-time for a year? What is my job? How did I save up to travel ? Share my thoughts on why social media is not real and you should never compare your life to what you see online. And I also explain what happened in Ninh Binh and why I decided to stay here so long!

I think it's AMAZING you've managed to travel for so long and build up your channel in the process (3k away from 100k!!!). You should be so proud of yourself because lord knows, IT AIN'T EASY!

What you said about trips/destinations for content sucking the joy & magic from the experience itself hits so hard.
I went on a large 5-month international trip where I wasn't even doing professional-level content, just posting stories and photoshoots for family & friends to keep up. And I found myself at burnout by my last month, barely taking any pictures or photos at all because I just wanted to live it & was so sick of losing huge portions by being preoccupied with capturing it on a screen.
Glad you're enjoying this slow travel season in Vietnam, and still taking us along for the journey!

I really appreciate your philosophy. You're incredibly wise. There are people who would waste the privilege you describe, but you use it to do what you love and share it! Way to go!

    Hi Kaja,
Don't expect to watch your channel & cry.
You left a huge piece of your heart with that adorable kitten, who will always have a piece of you with him. Thank you for sharing the story, your kindness towards animals is wonderful to watch.
I'd imagine if the kitten could tell you anything, it would be that he'll never forget you, & you will always hold a special place in his heart.
Love your authenticity, you as a person & your channel.
Always look forward to your vlogs.

Great stuff. I agree that sometimes it takes the joy out of being in the moment. But at the same time, its important to capture that to have those video diaries for yourself. Maybe change the perspective and it will help you enjoy it more. I was in your shoes for the first 2 years. I think once i changed my equipment and i started to record differently, i started to really be in the moment and able to capture it at the same time. Keep up the good work. Maybe will run into each other one of these trips

Hi just saw your video on LBM so what are your thoughts about it after completing the course &. Are you employed as luxury brand manager?

I started out with $2.23usd, just on a whim. Sure, there were many bad days - but it was overwhelming positive considering the circumstances the way it started. I still don’t know just how I made it work - but there are some wonderful people and experiences to be had. It lasted for 3 years. Changed my life in a big way.

One day you will most likely regret leaving your tough little Ninh Binh orphan behind. A couple of situations that may explain why, he could prove a god send.
I have a photo I was sent of a rat sitting happily on a used coffee cup in a tea trolley in the VIP lounge at Delhi Airport in 2008.
Also in Delhi on my first night in a city hotel I turned the lights off and once beneath the sheets heard rats jumping about in the ceiling space. No problem I thought, they are not inside my room.
I woke up that morning to hear the conversation from the corridor.
Hotel manager: “Why are you leaving madam?”
Young lady: “There were rats running across my bed last night.”
I also checked out that same morning.

Did you have to get vaccines to go to asia? Yellow fever, hebatitis, etc?

    • @SCM_Germany
      @SCM_Germany Před 10 dny

Theoretically you should get it. Reality is that they only care about your passport. 😅 No-one’s interested in vaccines.

I would say young people (and those not so young anymore) who love to travel and live in countries around the world should consider learning to trade online ...e.g. Stock and Forex Market .... where they can literally "work" anywhere in the world where there is reasonably good internet connection and at their own time and choosing. But first, just like any profession, learn to be good at doing that and you will never run out of money. In fact, if you are really good at trading, you can make your fortune while having the time of your life at the same time.
    Cheers and all the best!
