    Can Windows 11 iso fix the same by booting in WinPE of a Windows 10 installation? Thanks
    PS: will it be the same to select different language and keyboard also?

    • @ValiumMediaTech
      @ValiumMediaTech  Před rokem +1

      Yes, you can fix the same if the installed windows in your computer is windows 11 too.
      In relation to keyboard language, you have to select the English as the CMD accept only English typing.

      @@ValiumMediaTech Hello, i have some W11 and W10 PCs so i created a multiboot usb flashdrive with ventoy. Problem is, when i go in WinPE command prompt mode i can't see my actual Windows disk installation, even by checking with DISKPART. Likewise i can see it if i boot with regular MediaCreationTool USB. I'd like to have 2 isos like W11 and W10 and put inthere your VMTechs-System-Repair folder in which i use the most DISM-SFK-CHKDSK all in one. Will it be possible to have 2 isos and access to actual Physical Disk Windows installation and having DISM getting files from ISOS instead of local WinSxS folder? Thanks in advance! :)
      EDIT: My Windows Installation is in Hungarian and i've downloaded W10 English United Kingdom one (there is no international one in W10) and W11 EnglishInternationalX64v2 isos...i don't think it's just about the language it can't see local drive right? or is it?

      - In relation to being have 2 ISO files in the USB, there is no problem with that, because the PC will boot from one ISO file and ignore the second one.
      - In relation t different languages, you have to use the ISO file with the same default language in order to use the ISO file as the source of repair. Also the Windows in ISO file should be the same or newer than the version of installed windows. However, the language will not lead to disappearance of your hard disk.
      - If you are sure that you have assigned a free letter to all partitions (or may be have used the Assign_Letters file), then you may need a storage drive in order to see your hard disk. Watch this video for more details:

    How do I get a WIM DRIVE? I’m using a bootable usb with windows 11 media in it.Can I put the iso directly in the usb or have to use another USB or create a partition for it?.I need it for dism to work otherwise it says there are no source files
    Error:2 when I try dism

    • @ValiumMediaTech
      @ValiumMediaTech  Před 11 měsíci

      If you have booted from USB drive of windows, the batch file will detect the Install.wim file and use it as the repairing source. But if you have install.esd instead of install.wim, then the file can't use it. In such case, you have to recreate a bootable USB using your mobile and then copy the ISO file of windows to the USB after that, select it to boot from it.
