Where can I get the steel plates for the BMC, for a 2016 Tundra?
Can you guys reply to the comments please, looks like you’re are duckin’ some legit concerns 👎🏽
The sway bar needs to be flipped, the driver side now goes on passenger. FYI
How much did this all cost ?
I’m getting ready to buy a brand new Toyota TRD I’d like to lift it and new tires and rims just like your video what should I expect to pay for the entire project
Dominic Toretto says "Not a bad way to spend 10,000 dollars"
AND.... void the warranty on a brand new truck!
For real it's so dumb that zthe stupid lift kits cost so much
Plus the extra $ at the gas pump!
Try $15000 minimum lol not including labor also and all that just to go to the mall but whatever makes people happy I guess
Update.. so I had a 6" rough country lift with the up graded coilovers put on at 4wheelparts "4WP" it was in total 3100 bucks not to bad for what it is lots of lift from it. I'd say worth it.
Before doing all that to your truck I’ve got one word for you
***REGEAR***
I've seen some people gearing up to 5.29, which would get it close to stock gearing, but not exact. Do you recommend anything else?
@@hardassteel You can have all the HP in the world but if the gears are not changing properly is pointless to have all the HP.
Looks like those fronts are going to rub hard with any kind of “flex”
What’s an avg. regear for a Tacoma cost ?
Woo I just got a Chub
i feel like the dude taking is a DJ at a EDM festival commenting on the truck while raving
Nick Romero are I’m at the strip club
Meanwhile the truck is going to the mall then goto Monsterjam 🤣
😂😂
Wow, that looks aggressive. I personally wouldn’t do a 6 inch lift, but it does look awesome. Congrats to the owner and a job well done to the shop.
Why not?
I have a 4” lift on my 4Runner and am running 35” tires.
@@mocheen4837 hi, what did you use to get that lift on the 4Runner?
What’s wrong with 6?
@@Eppie916 Long term issues probably .
🔥love it!! Amazing content!! Now I want 6" lift instead or 3" and put them 35 on😍
Somebody got a great Christmas gift owner went all out
Perfection! Be nice to see a cost list as reference.
How long do you think till the steering rack fails.
😂😂😂
I once had a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 4WD and installed a 6 inch Trailmaster lift with a 3 inch body lift. The lift was professionally installed by a reputable company. Although it looked really nice and served its purpose off-road, I won't do it again. To many mechanical issues down the road....in my experience. This truck looks really nice though.
That's a sick lift . Love the wheel and tire combo. Whats the price on this including install?
Damm im in aww. I wish i could do all this to my Tacoma. That thing looks like a beast now!!!!
ugh it was looking so good until you guys blocked the rear. whats the point in having king rear shocks if you have no leafs to prevent bottoming out? Also you're still running a sway bar still? I threw mine in the trash when I lifted with the 2.5 king coilovers and 700# coils.
Very nice. 88 Rotors you guys do an outstanding job! 👍🏼
how much was all of this
Which 3.5 inch lift kit will be the best for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4
My dream truck 😍
Just needs new gears ⚙️ now
Awsome look. Yes I would do this to mine. I have 3" lift on RevTech and 33" tires. Love how it handles.
What kind of MPG’s are you getting with that setup ? Thinking of running that myself.
After installing the lift, how many inches do you recommend to drop the carrier bearing?
A 3 inch lift would be better suited for a short bed, but this setup is perfect for the long bed! Wheels and tires are the right sizes too
I have 2018 Limited has a 14inch lift by bulletproof Coilovers costume made king shocks on FuryMT42x13.50T24x14 thing sits as high as a semi has a twin trubos 5.10 gears new built trans for the added hp and trq has a tune new intercooler straight down pipe 6inch tips has 2 54 inch light bars on the roof. Limo tint all 5 windows and push bars by kelderman armor bumper front rear paint to match. Air bags front and rear.
No you don’t.
@@Bmossy931 You dont have to be negative just because i have one.
That long bed looks legit on 35’s. I’m not feelin’ the blocks in the rear tho. Is that the only way to get that much lift in the rear or do they make a monster leaf pack for it?
Leaf packs are available!
Looks badass! I wouldn’t do a 6inch lift but it does look awesome
Great site! Short, concise, very informative, and not a lot of talking.
Thank you!
What size kings are you using? I have a GX460 I’m install the same lift on and wanted to get kings for it.
what's the best upgraded disc brakes for the Tacoma?
how much would you need to cut if you installed 37s? or is it better to be at 35s?
Why wouldn't you get wheels with the right offset instead of adding spacers? I could see a DIY'er needing to do it with poor planning, but a shop that does this regularly? Seems slack.
spacers are a big no no
My guess is you would have to find the right rim you like with an offset big enough. He probably went with a rim he liked, but didn't offer any offset. Even with an offset, you will probably have to do a little chopping to get the tires to clear, even with a 6inch lift LOL. I'm not a fan of spacers either.
What rate springs? I have fox from BDS and recently put 700lbs springs from king on and now have clearance issues from tie-rod to spring contact mostly on driver side, needed extra lbs because of winch and bumper.
Do I need to get King coilovers to remedy this issue, I noticed king vs fox, the lower hat on the kings has way more clearance.
I have talked to a lot of people about this issue and no one can give me a remedy.
If you can help that would be Awsome, thank you!
I need help! Not likes thanks!
Man if you’ve got the money and it’s not a problem to sort out all the issues later( they can be solved) I’d do the 6” for sure. 3” and less problems afterwards was more on my “family man” budget. This truck is a beast👌
@@micbravo. agreed
@@micbravo. yes I run the RC 3.5” system and it’s all I need.
If you going 6” go with a fabtech, all my friends with pro comp been having plenty issues
6” is the best ‼️👍👍👊
When u get my Tacoma I’m going with that lift for sure . 🔥
How much power do those 35” tires rob from the engine? Would you recommend a re-gear?
The tacoma needs a regear from the factory. So yes definitely
Looks awesome hello from Houston Texas
Thanks, hope all is well in Houston!
What would this cost? Love it. I have a 2014 taco I would love to do this too
Don't understand why you'd spend all that money and opt for a lift block in the back instead of Deavers and shackles.
Tom Stack don’t hate on the blocks
Blocks are way better at mall crawling! lol
Why find something to hate on when he has such a beautiful setup regardless of the blocks! I hate fuckers like you that that find that one thing to dislike and it’s so minuscule to what that truck is capable of doing after the new setup!
Well.…..fuckers like me would fucken Love to have that truck …...blocks and all! Its basically a Tacoma raptor for way less money. Unfortunately Fuckers like me cant afford a raptor or a Tacoma.
The08450 get a job...
Love the inspection detail..... good work !!!!! props!
Do you guys do the regearing too? I plan to take my 2018 Tacoma OR to you as well but I want to get all my stuff together to get everything done at once. I already got the Rays and OEM Pro Grille. Just trying to decide on 3" or 6" lift. Either way, I want 35's. You guys did my lil bro's Tundra and it was legit.
💯perfect dammm maybe just some different type of rims
how much does a setup like that cost with king suspension and tires and rims and labor
Yes, looks rad! I love the higher lift
Yes looks great. Owner should be really happy. You sell the 1" spacer lift kit for the pro? I have a 19 pro and want to put 285's on it.

@@88ROTORS Ok thank you for getting back to me. I will be in touch soon.
Usually a Ford and Chevy guy but I love these trucks there so exotic lookin
Would not have gone with the long bed but everything else is great
Same bro same
I have the long bed, in the trails its annoying but really needed the extra space for my job lol
The 35s are sick with the 6inch lift!
You already no what I’m going to say but one one word beautiful
I’m guessing y’all had to cut a chunk out of the frame for the lift to fit? Is it possible to replace this chunk with fabricated metal and get someone to weld it back on so that I can go back to a stock lift?
Im not a big fan of how stock Toyota's look but man when you put a 6 inch lift on them from an aesthetic point there are beautiful.
Do you happen to know what kinda gas mileage does it get thx
Jorge Ornelas I have a 6 inch lift and 35s and I get 13 mpg at its best. I haven’t re-geared my tires yet, but when I do, it’s probably gonna get around 15 mpg.
What king coilovers are those i cant find those anywhere with the extended rod end?
Alexander92 they are available with the 6inch lift from whoever you buy the lift from Ex:BDS they’re made uniquely for them
That may look good but not only it will need to be regeared but the pitch will be off on the driveline which ultimately will be chewing up the ujoints way sooner & the only way to correct this is having the rear axle ends cut & turned to compensate the pitch & even @ that if the ends are not cut precise the tires will wear very fast there is much that can go wrong with lifting a suspension this high would been better with some bit of a body lift instead.
I had icon stage 2 kit installed on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma trd and all the screws were not tighten to specs when I had my alignment done after 200 miles. We the traveled Las Vegas the next morning. I was told when service was done the alignment that everything was loose. The Las Vegas alignment company told that I was lucky that nothing came apart during my drive to Vegas. They were nice to tighten the bolts. I did have to drive back to 88Rotors to have recheck their work. Pretty sad scenario since I live in San Francisco and drives down to ElMonte to have this work done.
Hello. Im wondering what’s the king shocks model number? Because my truck is lifted 6” as well but I’d like to install those shocks. They look sick!,
What’s the point of buying a TRD off road just to pay more to get your suspension redone? Why not just buy the SR5
Rex_8787 I ask myself that same question. Purchased an 18’ TRD off-road. Now wanting to put a 6” lift and 35s. But cant justify replacing the already good suspension.
Glad to know im not the only one who thinks this way. I’m in the market for a Tacoma. Undecided if I should get a TRD or SR5. Any advice ?
Rex_8787 I like the features that the Off-road came with such as a rear locker and crawl control. However I hardly use it. Personally Id get the SR5 and build it similar to the set up in this video, as it will be a pavement pounder for sure.
I have a sr5 2017 just bought used and I'm looking too ger a 3 inch lift onn 33's nothing to crazy because it's not a 4×4 just enough to get threw terrain and sand & mudd...
Can y'all do a video of the long bed crew cab Tacomas you've done. And say what's been done to each one. That would be very helpful deciding what lift for my truck!!
Great videos quality work!!!!
Ah man that's a bad ass truck!
Can you please list everything this truck has to give it the 6inch. What kind of spindle is it. Thanks im advance
I’m considering, but I’m not sure I will be able to adjust headlights properly, do you know if it is a big deal or not?
I wish you still installed the 6 inch lift on Tacoma's.
With that lift and those tires...do you all do re-gearing?
I'm also wanting to know the same thing
Probably need to but probably didn’t.
If they didn’t they damn sure should of. I had a 17’ and when I put 33s on it I was getting run off the highway with the pedal to the metal
How much is it to regear?
Hype Studio normally like 2-3k per diff
Can you wheel the truck without rubbing? Big power loss...
Love the look, how much for everything.?
How tall is the top of the cab with the 35" tires and 6" lift?
Hoping my Taco will fit in my garage!
I too want to know..
That is a BEAUTIFUL finished Tacoma! I will be bringing mine to have you guys work on mine.
Bring it anytime! Thanks!
@@eddiesaninocencio6635 The largest Toyota dealership in the world is down the street from us: Longo Toyota. (I think they still are, they were named that a year ago or so if I remember correctly.) By the way, we are 88 Rotors, not motors.
OK Thank You guys. great videos.
Great camerawork
Thanks George!
How much well this kits run I already have front pro comp like the Tacoma here and also lifts 6 inch already how much to add the kings kit
Looks amazing….
I am getting my TACO long box in 6 months from now…. This is the exact look I want, but I want the exhaust to sound more sporty…
I have the exact same setup on my 2008 tocoma. People are telling the procomp six inch lift is for clearance, but it's not recommended for offroad. Is this true?
Could you provide a list of all the components? I wanna do the same setup for mine as well! Also would this setup work with the ready lift kit or would I need to upgrade to the pro comp?
How much would you charge for this set up? I’m in Oregon but I love your guys work
How much does it cost do the same job on a 2021 taco? Except add the grill and the lighta.
Beautiful Rig! Toyota Power!💪
how much total height added? can you park in a regular garage?
No!!! Spacers on a 4x4? Next time use proper offset wheels instead. Bye bye bearings lol
spacers dont affect ball bearings it was proven by spider traxx... only if you go into the 3" and 4s
GoproGreatness lol ok idiot believe what you want. They destroy them anything that moves the load out further will wear the bearings fast
Spacers have the same effect as an offset wheel. The bearings will wear the same either way all things equal.
@@tylerlund9073 by "proper offset" I meant not the huge negative numbers that are so popular right now. I mean PROPER offset. Not wheels that stick out 6 inches from the fender lol
@@High_Desert_Tanner haha that's fair, I completely agree!
On this truck , I would have liked 1” extra in the front .👍 cool job guys
I so wish I could get my taco lifted by you guys but I live in New Mexico 😩
It looks great, I have an 08 Tacoma prerunner, what would be better making it 4x4 or just buying a new one?
Any reason why you chose to do only UCA and not LCA as well?
Full send😂👌🏻 yes I'm gonna 100% do this to my Tacoma this winter😂
How were the cv angles on that set up?
Looks badass! But can you send it with the Kings even with blocks in the rear?
The truck looks great! Nice clean work.
Looks great, but I'm thinking a 4" lift with the same components...
I like when the back sit a little higher then the front….but the truck looks really good..nice job
Do you have any videos of a Tacoma with 6inch lift with 33sx12.5?
Front coil over 2.5 king how can you make the adjustment up to 6 inch
Such a good video 🙌 Tacoma is the best pick up 👌🏽
I have the same truck how much for this exact setup minus wheels and tires and the fog lights
i did mine but dont like how it fills when u driving it feels like the truck is moving left and right is there something else that i ca add
like in the steering pole or
did you replace the CV axle to an extended one? are the uca the long travel 2'' total chaos version as well? stock leafs with block or after market with add a leaf and blocks?
Did you change the ring and Piñón and if so what gear ratio
I have a 6 inch lifted Tacoma with a bds kit, will those tc uca fit my kit?
That truck cant go up a driveway until he regears
.
not even close to true
It's a mall crawler what do you expect? ETA; it's pretty.
Tony That thing could probably do some wheeling actually
@@senorconhuevos are you saying that about Tacos in general? Or just that particular one?
Cause Maxx Powell's taco and Last Line of Defense's taco has done some pretty dope off roading.
Please explain, I'm new to offroading, it's a v6, and the tires are bigger, which does add weight and slows it down.
In lower gear I'm sure it would mob? I'm sure regearing would help but is it necessary. Generally curious
Nice to look at but underpowered to spin those 35! Need a supercharger now 🤪
donald boucher or just a regear...
donald boucher not true
I love this look! I have a 2WD and don’t off road. I’ve heard not too go too crazy or else I’ll lose my smooth driving and handling experience. What are your thoughts or opinions?
Can you still go through a drive through a and parking garages?
I like it but how much you have to sacrifice for the power on the truck
6ft bed tacomas look good !!!
Too bad they don't come in
Manual transmission for the 6ft bed
I wanna ask a question. Did you cut the frame in order to install the lift???
How much cost lift 6” including the tires an rims?
any issues with the needle bearing? i heard anything over 3.. you will start having issues with the axle.
Luis Cheong not all
with or without the lift it can be a problem. There is a TSB for the needle bearing on both Tacoma and 4runner.
rush pumpkin correct
Yes when can I bring my 2022 taco for A 6” king lift
Stance is freaking sick!!!!
