- Better late than never they say.
On this new episode of YOW Pit Stop we will tell you all (or almost all) you need to know about our surfskates.
Our good amigo Griffin is back and will talk you through the different parts of our boards: the Meraki system, the decks, the wheels... as well as how to change a broken spring, how to avoid squeaky trucks and some general maintenance of the system.
Let us know if you have any additional doubts we can solve in future Pit Stops in the comments :)

This is brilliant - Answers so many of the questions I get from students in a clear way with good visuals. Well done!
Great job guys! Nicely done and will be super helpful to many of our YOW Customers! Love this Pit Stop series, excited to see it continue.
Super nice explanations on how to maintain and even getting rid of squeaky noises which can be super annoying! I think you should extract the "how to maintenance part" into an own video so that people can find it more easily and link it somewhere on your website! People without skateboarding background maybe having a hard time figuring things like needing a tool and which thing tightens what or even how much to tighten the axle nut for wheels. The info about the hardness of the wheel was also nice, maybe a tiny note that harder wheels will go a bit faster would be beneficial. But I am complaining on a high level here - thanks a lot Yow for that superb video!
Well done! Looking forward to the next one ✌️
Love these videos!!!!!!! so helpful!!!!!!!! Pit Stop series!!!
I'm actually considering to get a Yow surfskate. I had tried it before and i really want one know. I think it has really improved on older version of trucks from other brands. I think yow has potential to be the go to surfskate brand if they continue to make their boards better and better than other stagnated surfskate brands who haven't improved their tech.
Do it! You won’t be dissatisfied.
Love it!
🔥🔥🔥
Epic! 👍🏼
Does the Meraki system include a built-in lock option that blocks the turning mechanism on the front truck like past Yow models? Essentially making it like a regular cruiser skateboard.
Nope, nothing like this
❤❤❤
How do I tighten my front trunk so it doesnt turn so easily?
❤❤
❤️🔥🤙🏼🔥
yow💖💖
Just saw one of these in a NY mall at Zumiez. Had no idea what it is but the Yow Snappers 32.5 has a sweet deck. I'm looking for downhill decks but this is a nice cruising deck for sure.
Surfskating: as close as you can get to the mountains, being deprived of the sea.
Son una porquería de ejes y el sistema de muelles no valen nada totalmente inestable vamos nunca me compraría uno
Meraki is the best surfskate truck in the game, you guys should update the back truck with a taller truck like the Carver C2 so you're leveraging more bushing and less 2" bulky riser pad. Way more momentum return and just better feel overall
No doubt, Meraki is s game changer. Regarding back truck - Waterborne Rail adapter will do the trick. Just give it a try.
