Meraki just destroys all other competitors. It's fun to drive, it's very welcoming for novices, it's can be used both for long-distance cruising and bowls. Can't stop having fun with this thing. And yes, rear rail adapter from WB is a must for maximum pleasure.

I guess my mistake with WB was in use of RKP. I sold it, got Carver with CX and never looked back. And for longer distances I have dropdown deck.

the cx is lighter, good choice, you would probably still prefer it to the wb with tkp

Same here. For me WB is way too tall when using it with RKPs. So I bought couple of narrow TKP trucks and did a little hack. I mounted front adapter closer to very end of kick-nose of my deck. So it's installed under bigger angle. This way WB adapter feels more stable while maintaining ability to carve. Just try to experiment.

Awesome surfskate video! I also have the "different brand on Amazon" Yow Meraki trucks and the Waterborne System but I use 9" Paris V3 RKP trucks instead of TKP on the Waterborne System. Paris are the best RKP trucks for carving and they're also more stable. I almost bought the Carver C7s but decided on the 'Yows' instead. I have a 35x10 kicktail blank with a 21" wheelbase that is just so much fun to ride with the Yow system AFTER...I upgraded the pivot cups with RipTide WFB 96A pivot cups and a harder RipTide APS bushing compound for my weight. I also got a set of Surfskate Love, 70mm 78A wheels with some Zealous bearings. It's a great set-up! Have fun and keep up the good work. 👍

Seeing that you have tried the YOW clone - have you had a look at the waterborne copy?
And - you don't use the rear waterborne adapter? Not recommended?
    Thanks!

the rear adapter convert a tkp in a truck that turn like the back truck of a proper surf truck, so I prefer a regular surf back truck because it is much lighter. The back rail is useful if you have yow complete, because they have the defect that their back truck is just a regular tkp and limit the leaning of the board, or if you want more spring effect, but I don't feel that is worthing the adding weight, I still prefer a surf back truck with a good bushing.

It's cool that you compared it on the same board, it captures the character of the trucks. It would be cool if you check our boards as well. ;) Will you take up the challenge ;)

i tried waterbone and in every powerfully turn the front truck reached the edge a the turn ended in an emediate stop in turning. Was very disappointed. sry no native English speaker

You need to tune truck and wheel size to perfection, is not easy and require to go through various fails, it perform better on tkp than rkp, but tkp are too low so they need or small wheels or risers, if the truck is small it may need riser in between adapter and truck. The bigger lean is what make it harder to customize, but also increase the pumping pontential.
