Looked like a great event! I saw a few familiar faces there, including Bob with the twin Commanche...he's right across from my hangar. Would loved to attend but I'm out out of town for a few weeks. PS...loved the homage to Robbie Robertson!
Bryan, it was a very nice event. Most of the 25 airplanes were from the CoronaPilots, a COVID-originated group that meets monthly around SoCal.... 5 planes were from KWHP, including Bob. Glad you caught the homage to Robbie. All the best!
#1 Thank you for sharing this Wayne! I really enjoyed it! #2 The pause button is your friend if you want to savor each airplane! #3 That Cessna 180 taildragger really resonated with me! Absolutely love the paint color, in fact, that particular shade of green, as well as the paint scheme! #4 Who's that character at 3:08? 😀 #5 My name ain't Annie... but your video still helped me take a big load off! #6 A couple of years ago I became aware of the fact that mastery of a craft, science, or art, is important beyond the nuts and bolts, pragmatic consequence of that mastery. It's something beautiful and to me, even feels like love, for the way it inspires me and the beauty that it reveals. This goes for all the pilots there as well as all the aircraft engineers that made these beautiful planes possible! Thanks again Wayne and God bless!
Thanks for checking out the video and for such solid comments! They are indeed beautiful planes and represent a mastery of the art to design and engineer them and the skills to pilot them. As for 3:08, well that dude is as you note, a character. All the best! Wayne (DA40 KSBA)
@@GeezerGeekPilot You in particular are inspiring to me Wayne. The work you do with the folks in Baja really motivates me to work toward a goal very much like that! Thank you for that!
Absolutely great event!
