ВО ВРЕМЯ ПРОСМОТРА Powerful отметил, как Димаш входит в образ перед песней. Потом он сделал остановку сразу после первых двух строк - он «не узнал» Димаша, в недоумении говорит, что «то, что было прямо сейчас это в 10 раз ниже, чем его первая песня» (имеет в виду СОС). Отметил сосредоточенный взгляд во время пения. Включил видео и смотрит молча. Остановил видео. Его удивила непрерывность пения: «ладно, ладно, он совсем не останавливается». Отметил, что теперь он просто мужчина (имеет в виду низкий голос), что действительно удивительно. Зрители ему сказали, что Димаш поет на 10 или 12 разных языках. Включает видео, слушает очень(!) внимательно. При переходе с баритона на сопрано заулыбался, задвигал бровями, замахал головой «нет, нет, это нереально!», даже выкрикнул «Мы идем!». Выключил видео и сказал, что с ним можно сойти с ума, что не нужно больше певцов, достаточно только его, т.к. он в вокале делает всё. Dimash is the 8th Wonder of the World!
Dimash's mother Svetlana says she hardly recognizes him when he sings. He does transform himself into a song. This one it really shows especially when he finishes singing you can see his facial expression change completely as he walks away from the mic. Olympico was written by Igor Krutoy for Dimash. It was for Dimash to sing at the opening ceremonies for the 2019 Second European Games in Belarus. This is a very powerful song, both the music, and the lyrics. Believe it or not he sings even lower, and higher. I was blessed to be able to travel to see him in December, at the concert in NY. His voice live is spine tingling, entrancing, and ethereal. When he sang this song it absolutely filled the arena with electricity, energy, and power. If he ever comes even close to where you live with a concert, find a way to attend. I was also fortunate enough that I got to go to New York concert and captured most of that song on video and I still cry at the end!!! He is a miraculous talent!!!
I saw him in NY twice, once at Igor's 65 birthday concert and again on 12/10 for his own concert. Blown away. Highlight of my life. I had planned on following him to Europe before the virus intruded.

Ogni Pietra is THE legend!! It's Dimash's best moment in his career, in my opinion!! SOS is the perfect song to get introduced to Dimash and it's more complex in terms of technicality, but man, Ogni Pietra is some serious business. I don't think there is anybody right now who could cover this song like Dimash. From baritone to high soprano, and sounding so rich and dark all the way. His tenor C5 and his soprano E6 are just so gorgeous!!

In December 2019, Moscow hosted the Victoria award ( the Russian equivalent of the Grammy), where Dimash was recognized as the best singer of the year in the classical repertoire for his performance of "Olimpico". And it won in the category "Discovery of the year".

Dimash Kudaibergen became the guest of honor at the opening of the II European Games in Minsk in June 2019.
He performed his new song Ogni Pietra (Olympico) in Italian. During the performance at the Dynamo stadium, the flag of the European Olympic Committees appeared, which was carried by 6 people.
The author of the music is Igor Krutoy, the text is Lilia Vinogradova.
Dimash sings on the highest real sopranos, and not just falsetto, like most men. In a recent interview, he described how his teachers taught soprano singing from childhood. Dimash has a classical, opera school of vocals, he was taught to sing just like that.
He once said there was a shortage of girls singing soprano in his school choir so they put him in to sing with them. He said it was ok as he got to meet lots of pretty girls.
Nature endowed him with unique ligaments, so he retained the ability to sing in a high key and after age-related changes in his voice. The gift of God and great work from childhood is Dimash.
His father is a singer and composer, his mother is a soprano singer.)

Great reaction. One reason I like this more than some of his videos is that here he is really in the art. Too often he is more like a circus act, or a magician showing off some tricks. Here, he is using his talent in the service of the performance, and that takes it to another level.

One thing that you said is correct: he sings in a variety of languages - russian, chinese, english, khazak, french, italian... you name it. A suggestion for your next react and one that you may recognize: Confessa + Diva Dance (czcams.com/video/23HYymUjIHE/video.html). The first song he starts in chinese and the in italian. The second (Diva Dance) is the song from the alien in the movie 5th Element, that was created with the help of a computer. He sings it without any aid! Keep on doing your Dimash + Nightwish journey!

Ich wäre eigentlich vorgestern an seinem Konzert in Stuttgart gewesen, wenn uns Corona keinen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht hätte 😕. Derzeit warte ich sehnsüchtig auf die Bekanntgabe des Ersatzdatums. Auch in Düsseldorf und Hamburg sowie in Prag wäre ein Konzert geplant gewesen. Es gäbe also binnen Jahresfrist durchaus die eine oder andere Möglichkeit Dimash live und in Farbe in Deutschland zu erleben. Düsseldorf wurde inzwischen auf den 20. März 2021 verschoben, die anderen Konzerte haben noch kein neues Datum.
Tipps, was du dir als nächstes von ihm anhören solltest möchte ich dir keine geben. Geniess einfach den wilden Ritt, den er einem beschert.
Es gibt im Netz allerdings Videos aus der "The Worlds Best". Diese sollten gemieden werden, da dieses Format die Beiträge sämtlicher Kandidaten wüst zusammengeschnitten hat und hinter den Kulissen lief da einiges nicht sauber, weswegen Dimash dort aus eigenen Stücken ausstieg.

Kathtin Phan I agree with you, but I reckon people keep suggesting this one to prove that he's not lip syncing. There have been people doubting he sings this live.
I agree with you that TWB may be able to provide that no lip syncing was used. However, in many concert recordings you can also see that Dimash sings live.
I personally prefer to enjoy a song in its entirety and not have a 2-minute patchwork of clipped highlights. It distorts the dynamics of a performance and tramples the work of the artist. I do not want to support something like this.
Ich gehe mit dir konform, dass TWB möglicherweise "Beweise" erbringen kann, dass keine Playbackaufnahmen verwendet wurden. Allerdings sieht man in vielen Konzertmitschnitten auch, dass Dimash live singt.
Ich persönlich ziehe es vor ein Lied in seiner Gänze geniessen zu können und kein 2-Minuten-Flickwerk aus zusammengeschnittenen Höhenpunkten vorgesetzt zu bekommen. Es verfälscht die Dynamik einer Performance und tritt die Arbeit des Künstlers mit Füssen. So etwas möchte ich nicht unterstützen.

Ich bin eine Dear seit Februar 2017, und er macht mich, mit seine Musik und seine art zu sein, glücklich. Er ist auch eine wunderschönen Mensch, sehr bescheiden. Aber er ist auch sehr witzig und lustig. Er ist auch sehr Weise, sehr kultiviert. Er ist auch respektvoll. Man kann das alles vielleicht nicht glauben können, aber es ist wahr.

Very anthem like indeed this, not many songs where he is full opera all the way through. For lower register non-operatic I'd suggest Sinful Passion or Love of Tired Swans (there's a few others though). My personal favorite is actually the fairly new Your Love, though no one forgets SOS as "first contact". That is a bit of showcase song for him though, so it is not as stylistically consistent (on purpose) as his newer songs are.
