To give flowers to the favourite singers, actors, artists and other outstanding people is a normal tradition in Russia, USSR (ex-USSR territories). And I find this tradition very beautiful and human. Let it continue!))) Particularly Dimash deserves the ocean of flowers for what he's been doing - just sharing his God-blessed talent with all of us and working on it without rest.

Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental Arab technique (or traditional cazaq singing, called Joqtaw), is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist: Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio. The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

As others may have mentioned, the "giving Dimash flowers" thing is actually a common side-effect of Dimashitis, with the next stage involving the waving of LED banners of his name, and/or wearing light-up "DEAR" headbands! As for being untouchable - well, in China he actually earned the nickname "the Security Killer", due to his habit of suddenly jumping off the stage and away from his minders, to get that much closer to his audience of much-beloved Dears...!🤗

Giving flowers to your beloved artist is an old Russian tradition that has been preserved to this day in the countries of the former USSR. It is believed that Russians are more stingy with the manifestation of emotions, but they do not skimp on buying bouquets of flowers. The entertainer here joked that Baskov (another popular singer in Russia) would not get flowers at this concert, because all the flowers from the audience went to Dimash.

Although only 25 years old, Dimash is highly revered and admired by his supporters which they show by rushing to the stage with flowers at the conclusion of his concerts. There are also throngs of fans awaiting his arrival at airports with many bearing flowers bouquets and various gifts. He refers to his followers as his Dears; they are precious to him just like family.
Dimash is humble, respectful, treasures family, and is wise beyond his years. You can get a glimpse of this remarkable young man, very well brought along by his parents and grandparents (traditional Kazakh upbringing) in interviews translated by Ruxanda Translations.

"Perfection." Thank you again for another wonderful reaction to Dimash's singing. This current one was from August 2018, and the venue was Sochi (Russia) annual music festival. Dimash was invited there by the Kazakh band A'Studio, whose pianist wrote the song. The Sochi event was initiated and is organised by the great Russian Maestro Igor Yakovlevich Krutoi. You may have noticed him. He, i n his white shirt, was the first to jump up and applaud. That was the occasion when Maestro Yakovlevich and Dimash met, and a very productive and beautiful collaboration began. They together have released a great number of most memorable songs, many so difficult that nobody but Dimash is able to sing them.

The flowers seem to be a normal spontaneous reaction in some venues, some couintries. In the U.S they didn't do it.Yes, he is a national treasure in his nation, also now is utilized as a diplomat, because he is so truly sweet and good, treats people beautifully, and has smoothed over a few little ruffles between other diplomats. He is welcome in the homes and offices of the highest officialls. End sometimes he sings for them. In casual settings he will sing impromptu bits, even without a mic, for instance when he has scooped up a little child and is singing to him or her, just sings with no mic, and sounds just as well, at least to my ears.Wow, Thank you for waching that with me; you're truly a good reactor,

At Dimash's concerts people can't just randomly walk up to the stage during the show, there's security, they won't let you (more to not distract him/interrupt the show than securing reasons I guess). It's only towards the end of the show people can come up to the stage and give him flowers. He also takes people's phones to do selfies from stage, signs autographs while singing.. ...

Thank you for your reaction! At the end he is saying thank you to A-Studio for the song. It was written 30 years ago by Baigali Serkebayev, the keyboard player in the video. He has a group called A-Studio. They are from Kazakhstan, although now based in Russia. The guitarist, and the bassist in the video are also in A-Studio. It is not part of an act, it normal for him to receive flowers, and he gets "tons" wherever he goes. After every performance, when he is greeted by fans at the airports, etc. There is sort of a running joke in Russia when there are other performers that he gets more flowers than anyone else on stage. Here are a couple links for you to watch with flowers. Victoria Awards in Russia. Giving flowers to Dimash is not part of the act
In fact Dimash very much likes to directly engage with his audience
    No stupid bodyguards needed

The flowers are pure worship, although it's not done in every country. As for artificial assistance to his voice, he sings around his house without even a microphone. Yes, in Kazakhstan, he's royalty. But it's royalty that he EARNED.
