anker have really never let me down, i started using the soundbuds slim (rip) in early 2019 and theyve stayed fine for commuting and travelling for ages and still work fine for like 20 dollars, just made the change to these and im loving them already

I bought the life a3i. Im impressed by the noise cancellation. The only feature I don't like is the bass up. If you use a 3rd party eq app like poweramp equalizer to boost the bass you get better sound quality, the bass up mode makes the bass a bit muddy

I just picked these up about two weeks ago and they truly surprised me. When you spend sixty bucks on earbuds it's important to curb your expectations, but the sound quality is absolutely amazing. I'm extremely picky about my music so I limit my earbuds to just my Liberty 3 pro and Liberty air 2 pro, but I just added these to the rotation. They're THAT good.

Shout out for the CP360 recommendation, I didn't even have issue with the stock earbuds but gave what you said a try and it made a noticeable difference in sound quality due to the seal and a bit more noise cancellation. This is my first Bluetooth earphone experience, I am pleased
Thanks as normal for the great review. I was one of the individuals who had issues with the Transparency mode and chose to return these. Outside of that I was pleased with these as an overall but in the long run I was happy with my Lyperteck 2.0. I loved Soundcores use of the button control but found in the long run, their case does not allow for the use XL tips for the few of us that require that sizing.
I had the same issue with the transparency mode. the eq shift was horrible- it would get really loud and the bass would be overpowering. emailed customer support and they immediately let me know about a firmware update. got the update today and the problem is gone. no noticeable eq shift.its amazing! I was expecting a minor upgrade but this is a night-and-day difference. I also noticed the issue with using different ear tips not fitting in the case.
also for what its worth, I noticed there was a lag before (I'm a drummer so the lag really throws me off when watching drum videos) but haven't noticed a lag between audio&video since the update. don't know if it's a big deal for anyone else but this makes me happy.
I just picked some up and they sound amazing, tbh I like them more than my airpods pro. The custom equalizer settings in the app make them sound loud and clear. I feel like I got my moneys worth.

It’s almost an ideal budget TWS, but noticed one Achilles heel, there’s no way to tell how much battery the case has left. In the high models you can check from the app or three lights in front light in a way that indicates battery life, but this has no such mechanism.
What's up el jefe been a little while lol I'm still rocking my soundcore life dot 2 nc almost 2 years later been using them since day one with no issues other than I noticed my average battery life on the earbuds went from 6 to 7 hours down to less than 4 lol. So I decided to buy a pair of the a3i since it's currently 50 bucks on Amazon! 9 hours of battery life on a single charge is pretty damn good for that price. thanks for the video bro.
Just picked up the life dot 3i, these sound better than my liberty 3 pros due to the mids being better, other than that, they're just like my liberty 3 pros in terms of sound. I'll be giving my liberty 3 pros to a family member now that they're no longer needed, these are just much more compact, have more battery life, and I can hear the vocals better in metal.
Are you serious? They really sound better than the liberty 3 pros? Been trying to get my hands on those but it's proving difficult especially here in Nigeria. It's so overpriced and scarce because nearly everyone is into brand loyalty with their mobiles so we don't really get a lot of vendors with products from vendors at sensible prices. Would have ordered but our naira cards have been blocked off. Your response could make me go for this instead.

Great review. I’m always hesitant with earbuds because I guess my ears are weird. I tried the Liberty 3 Pros but couldn’t get a fit that would work. These look like they may work, I just need something that really gets far in your ear like an IEM…
Am returning my 2nd set beats Studio buds(overpriced junk!), glad I found your video, all 3 of those tested in your video destroy my studio's on the things that matter most to me. Call quality and battery life. Now the a3i boast 6 mics for calls, i have to find an updated mic test before i makw my decision.

Great pair of main or spares. I brought these because I lost a liberty pro 3 bud. I never loose a bud. 1mores are ok but the volume is nothing to be amazed about. The ambiant sound is very good on thes though.

@@nousix9965 Not at all, the ANC is really subpar even compared to older models like the Liberty Air 2 Pro, I wouldn't even it call it ANC. On the bright side the form factor allows me to sleep with them, and sort of use them as earplugs, which is still helpful. The sound quality and the mic is really good for the price though.

Awesome review! Just wish you would use different kinds of music since I never heard of the pieces you mentioned. Personally I love everything from thrash metal like Slayer and Megadeth to Slaine and Cyprus Hill until Johnny Cash The Devil Makes Three. Meaning bass is not everything for me. I noticed that high treble is often used to simulate the mids. But the mids are actually weak. Of course you mentioned the eq so I'll be testing that. I m waiting for soundcore to release an headset last one was Q35 and they got released like 18 months ago. Feels pretty old when you see them releasing new earbuds every other week 😅
All of the recommendations I’ve seen for these earbuds makes me think “wow I actually have the best soundcore earbuds in this price” but my pair just has issues such as one earbud louder then the other, then it would turn into the other earbud almost not working at all and the 6:24 EQ shift when using anc.

I just got these from Anker Direct. I can confirm the sound on Transparency mode is horrendous. I mean, I read complaints about that in reviews but it is worse that I imagined... Like crazy bad. Just booming highly distorted bass. Wow. Fortunately I don't really need transparency mode. All other modes sound great. Hopefully they fix this through firmware assuming it's not defective hardware.

I bought these they got here 5 minutes ago ,moving from Soundcore Life Dot 2.Thesse are by no doubt betterthe sound is very "full". The out of the box sound is very bad ,the treble is set too high bit thabk God for the "Small speakers" pre-set in the app.The Soundcore Life Dot 2 came out of the box sounding amazing but here that csn be fixed with the EQ Overall ,I'm happy ,I was just supriaed how they sound out the box . One leas thing to add,my sounscore life dot 2 are a year old ,I damaged them by being careless so if it wasn't for that they be good because ANKER IS THE BEST so if you reading u wonder why I went from Life Dot 2 to 3 just know its not becasue they are bad quality or anything 💯💯 Edit : i know I've already said the sound is "full " but I feel like adding tjat man these things are LOUD !!!!!You wont need 100%

I was using these to play COD Mobile and there was no delay at all. These earbuds are amazing, no latency issues at all. At least with mine.
We should ask what phones you both use with the buds.

Great review. I’m always hesitant with earbuds because I guess my ears are weird. I tried the Liberty 3 Pros but couldn’t get a fit that would work. These look like they may work, I just need something that really gets far in your ear like an IEM…

W240TN offer better sound. If you can get them at a discount, Edifier is the better choice.

Great pair of main or spares. I brought these because I lost a liberty pro 3 bud. I never loose a bud. 1mores are ok but the volume is nothing to be amazed about. The ambiant sound is very good on thes though.

@@nousix9965 Not at all, the ANC is really subpar even compared to older models like the Liberty Air 2 Pro, I wouldn't even it call it ANC.
On the bright side the form factor allows me to sleep with them, and sort of use them as earplugs, which is still helpful. The sound quality and the mic is really good for the price though.

Very nice on the many recyclable bags and or containers soundcheck. Even the little bag of spare ear tips had the little recycle logo. Mine came just now.
I like the button, i don't hear it reverberating into my ears when i press it. Sound is good as reported. Good first impression.

Awesome review! Just wish you would use different kinds of music since I never heard of the pieces you mentioned. Personally I love everything from thrash metal like Slayer and Megadeth to Slaine and Cyprus Hill until Johnny Cash The Devil Makes Three. Meaning bass is not everything for me. I noticed that high treble is often used to simulate the mids. But the mids are actually weak. Of course you mentioned the eq so I'll be testing that. I'm just curious about voice only for podcasts or audible books.

All of the recommendations I’ve seen for these earbuds makes me think “wow I actually have the best soundcore earbuds in this price” but my pair just has issues such as one earbud louder then the other, then it would turn into the other earbud almost not working at all and the 6:24 EQ shift when using anc.
Sounds like a faulty set for sure. I'd consider exchanging them if you still can.

I just got these from Anker Direct. I can confirm the sound on Transparency mode is horrendous. I mean, I read complaints about that in reviews but it is worse that I imagined... Like crazy bad. Just booming highly distorted bass. Wow. Fortunately I don't really need transparency mode. All other modes sound great. Hopefully they fix this through firmware assuming it's not defective hardware.

I had the same issue with the transparency mode. the eq shift was horrible- it would get really loud and the bass would be overpowering. emailed customer support and they immediately let me know about a firmware update. got the update today and the problem is gone. no noticeable eq shift.its amazing! I was expecting a minor upgrade but this is a night-and-day difference. I also noticed the issue with using different ear tips not fitting in the case.

I bought these they got here 5 minutes ago ,moving from Soundcore Life Dot 2.Thesse are by no doubt betterthe sound is very "full".
The out of the box sound is very bad ,the treble is set too high bit thabk God for the "Small speakers" pre-set in the app.The Soundcore Life Dot 2 came out of the box sounding amazing but here that csn be fixed with the EQ
Overall ,I'm happy ,I was just supriaed how they sound out the box .
One leas thing to add,my sounscore life dot 2 are a year old ,I damaged them by being careless so if it wasn't for that they be good because ANKER IS THE BEST so if you reading u wonder why I went from Life Dot 2 to 3 just know its not becasue they are bad quality or anything
