I personally like the mic quality for the P3 and I love the gaming option. I currently use first generation apple AirPods and I wanted a true noise canceling headphones and I’m considering the P3. Thanks for the informational review!
Thanks for the review. I'm going to go for the P3i primarily for one simple reason: Actual Tactile Buttons. In my experience its just too easy and annoying to inadvertenly change something when I'm trying to adjust an earpiece that has touch controls. I'm operating machinery much of the day, I dont need to be distracted because I accidently changed something when I touched the earpiece. I've this happen in electronics for decades. The answer why drop the P3i is for market penetration to enhance brand recognition. I saw this happen with every major maker of stereo equipment. Marketing would get feedback if this unit was this lower price point rather than the higher price point I go move them out the door like hotcakes. Here they probably have seen their P3 being severely discounted and that can change people's price image they think is appropriate. So rather then discount their product they would rather offer a comparable with a few changes to justify the model change and price drop. Likely inside both are the same exact electronics with maybe a slight tweak to change how they respond or appear to the buyer. In fact, you could hack the cheaper stereo at the board level to restore the disable advance features, if you knew about it and had the skill. This isn't possible any longer as the boards are too small for that type of work. There is a reason for this drop and it always will be due to marketing and money. So if I was to buy I might go for the P3i around $50 if need another pair. Thanks!
It looks like Soundcore is also planning to release a dot style earbud in the near future called the Life A3i (which looks to have a button control on the side of the earbuds). Based on this comparison I imagine it will be a similar story between it and the Life A2 NC but time will tell. Thank you so much for your awesome and very detailed review and comparison! 👍

Nice informative review, thanks! To answer your question, I would buy the P3i for the slightly smaller size. I already have the P3 and find it big and heavy in the ears. I would also buy the P3i for the charging case design. I don't like the P3's clamshell case much. Cheers!
You think that's pointless lol, try buying the "Life Note 3 XRs" which are carried by places like Target (where I got mine), Best Buy, and Walmart to name some. This is to avoid price matching, but the price I paid was cheaper than I can find for the P3s or even P3is anywhere either online or locally. But they are, quite literally, the exact same thing as the Life P3s, albeit with a slightly different case design (I kinda dig it more tbh, it's got a pseudo-carbon fiber look and parallel bud placement vs the angled approach the P3's case does) the only deficit is the lack of wireless charging. Otherwise, they're identical. HOWEVER, I managed to get Life Note 3s for $49 plus tax, as they were on discount. So while I'm losing out on wireless charging, the $20 cheaper price is definitely a plus.

@El Jefe- Thanks again for yet another awesome review. I am already your fan and have seen lot of your other Tws reviews. I am thinking of buying Tws with good Anc, App and Aptx support. I am not into gaming and use an Android phone. Wireless charging not required as well. While I am more inclined to buying towards Life P3 due to better features, they do not support Aptx so wanted to know if Life P3i supports aptx? Does having Aptx support in Tws really matter? Any other Tws that you would suggest under 100 Usd?
1. Neither support aptX. 2. No. It's a nice codec to have but it should never be a deciding factor. 3. Soundcore Life P3, Soundcore Life A3i, 1More PistonBuds Pro, Earfun Free Pro 2.
@@ELJefeReviews - Thanks a ton for your inputs. Is it worth considering Tribit flybuds C1? I understand Aptx and Bluetooth 5.2 may not matter much but does having Anc and Ambient mode like in Life P3 matter? What will be a better choice?
Just like with Soundpeats.. they release so many ear buds so close it the same.. or with simular names or their successor but are so different.. T1 or T2.. H1 or H2.. crazy.. Soundcore rocks though.. thanks for a great video.. 👍
I have the soundcore life p3i and they sound amazing. But the only downpoint in my opinion is that there is not enough button clicking patterns for all the commands.
@@ELJefeReviews Jefe, hello again. Have you had the opportunity to listen to Moondrop space travel? I saw several reviews of this tws and its tuning is highlighted as a good differentiator. If you've used them, does it have better audio quality than the a3i? Thank you for answering my question about the a3i and p3i.
Excellent review as always 👌 👌 👌 👌 👌. I actually got the P3 the 2nd time couple of days ago for £49.99 I am glad I did as the firmware update is excellent for phone calls outdoors and indoors. Your voice sounds like your voice on these earbuds, unlike other earbuds which may make your voice sound tiny or too bassy. I have tried them last year and they were very bad in call quality. Worth every penny and more, the P3s. Big brother have you seen the firmware update?
I understand why Soundcore does this, having several Soundcore earbuds and headphones. Soundcore "i" series are actually Soundcore's updated (latest bluetooth versions) and made affordable (but losing some features that are not critical) versions of previous or old model earbuds and headphones. Just like this Life P3i, which is an updated version (bluetooth 5.2, longer battery, more compact) of the Life P3 but made affordable by losing some features (wireless charging) and downgrading some features (ANC features, microphone quality-subjective). They also do this with their wireless headphones, like the Soundcore Q20i is an updated (to bluetooth 5.3) version the old Q20 headphones.
I am currently using MPOW M30 Plus with touch control. There are so many unintentional touches when I use it while driving (while wearing a helmet) or while listening to music in bed. I really hate it. That's why I'm looking for a TWS with tactile/physical buttons. That's why I think I'll choose P3i. :)
Hi El Jefe, which Spinfit eartips go with life P3 & p3i. I have both of them. P3 are my premium earbuds and p3i I like to take out because box is small and slim. However I do really love the controls on p3i. Thank you for your amazing reviews.
I LOVE soundcore! But to be honest "multi-mode noise cancellation" (indoor, transport, outdoor) is a reason I won't buy the p3 or any other soundcore product that has this function in the app because it makes daily life inconvenient, for example; I have to go into the app to switch to transport mode when I get on a bus or train, I switch to outdoor mode when I get off the transport, switch to indoor mode when I get indoors where I'm going. It's a real downside because it only blocks out certain frequencies in each setting and other sounds will still come through. I much prefer simple noise cancellation on/off like how they do on the liberty 3.
Great review as always!! I might mess around and get both… lol! I like the fact that these have button controls. At my job (I have to wear gloves in a factory) or even working out, I personally think buttons work better in those situations. Although they don’t have the wireless charging, having the extra playtime is cool with me. At work, it will handle my whole shift!! I’m glad these work with the app! Soundcore probably has one of the best apps that work with their earbuds. In any normal circumstance, the P3s are great for the extra cash. Like you said, it comes down to personal preference.
you literally dont look like you sound, remind me of the homie from CPT, However, thank you for the detailed and informative vid bud. Quality work 👍Subbing

Lots of people (including Linus Sebastian) seem to really like sleeping with the LG Tone Free FP5/8/9. The super tiny Galaxy Buds Live might be a good option as well. I've personally been able sleep with foam tips on IEMs like the Fiio FA1, FH1, or F9. Best thing about Fiio is that they offer bluetooth adapter devices (UTWS & BTR Series) that transform any wired earbud, IEM, or over-ears you like into wireless headphones. 😁
I don't feel that any of them is good when it comes to voice calls. Do you recommend any other option in Soundcore that are so good in calls rather than those two options mentioned?
Major props for the disclosure. It's really appreciated. Good comparison. One thing I'd like to know is how they compare size-wise. Which one sticks out of the ear more?
I need help deciding which earphones to get out of these: Sony WF-C500 Soundcore P3i Earfun Air S Mainly looking for the best sound quality and least latency as possible when watching videos, which ones do you think I should go with (or you can rank them)? Thanks
Hi! Just subbed. I'm looking for TWS with a stem, button controls and ANC. I've seen the review for these and 3anc on your channel. Any others that you'd recommend? Thanks in advance!
I think I found the perfect earbud. Can you recommend a budget earbud no more than 60.00 that would be the offspring of the mini pro and Soundcore p3i? never knew I was this picky about music lol. Thanks again!
This is normal from Soundcore. They most likely updated the SoC to something more efficient that can provide improved battery life. They've done this with a few previous models.
@@ELJefeReviews would this make them better now than the p3i? Also they seeming lost the "Life" in the title, would you say that the p3 are better or worse than the p40i? Given it's been updated? Thank you in advance! Looking for better ANC
Unfortunately I do not have the updated P3. I only have the original version. I prefer the P40i over the P3 so that is the only recommendation I can make.
@@ELJefeReviews thank you for your response! the p40i seems to have more noise canceling features than the more updated p3i, instead of the three scenario option you have that and adaptive on the newer p40i, it has newer BT ad well plus more battery life, or as far as I'm aware reading amazon listings. I could be wrong but I've chosen the newer p40i over the p3i.
HI EL JEFE , Thanks for the review. I have a question, The prices currently are: Soundcore Life P3 - US $ 57.81 Soundcore Life P3i - US $ 44.84 What should I buy?
Hello! , do you think that these earbuds are better than the edifier neobuds pro in terms of the sound quality, and i lean more in the bass. Thanks Jefe
I ordered the p3i from Amazon for £33, then read about the gaming mode on the p3 so managed to get a brand new set off eBay for £37. For an extra 4 bucks I find the idea of low latency more appealing as a steam deck headset, compared to the extra amount of battery, as I only use them a max of 3 hours at a given time.
P3i are very good! I hope you enjoy them. I would avoid the Sony XM4. If you want Sony, get the LinkBuds S. Less money with better comfort and improved call quality.
Which earbuds can be used with ANC ON independently with each bud. I'm an Uber driver and I'm not allowed to have both earbuds on. But ANC is a must to reduce car road noise, thanks 👍
I have the life p3 and I can’t turn on anc or transparent hearing without both earbuds on. Personally, if you really want both earbuds just keep one out the case and keep the other in your ear. They can be used independently for listening tho 👍.
Currently in my country the p3i (in my country it is called life note 3i for some reason) cost Rp599k (around 40 dollars), but soundcore also just released the life dot 3i with the same price, and i was about to order the p3i (since you said you should only get them if i can get them under 50 dollars) now i'm confused on which one to get, since both cost the same, same product descriptions, same spec, same feature, the differences i could see were the button positions and design. Should i get the p3i or the dot 3i? (oh and since i got a coupon, i can get them for Rp515k (around 35 dollars))
Hey! I don't know which one to buy ,I use the earbuds only for music ,on the gym, and for phone calls. i don't know wich one can be good for me based on these pitchers
I just received the P3i model and I actually think that the bass doesn't have the rumble that I am looking for. Does the P3 have a bit more bass or is the sound exactly the same as the P3i? Thanks.
@@ELJefeReviews Just tried it. I think the problem I am having is that I am thinking that I will get the same rumble that I get from the Soundcore Q30s. Thanks for the help, though. I appreciate it.
I've tried the Lypertek Levi/S20, Jlabs Jbuds Air, and even "reviewer verified" gaming-grade low latency models like the Taotronics 94 and Soundpeats H1. The Life P3 edges them all out and is the closest TWS to wired earbuds I own so far. With VR-AR-MR becoming in the coming years I can't wait to see what the competition will bring in the ultralow latency space.
I just purchased a pair of the p3i’s for myself after having owned the Free2 classics. Are they considered an upgrade by your standards in comparison? I mainly listen to Metal (like to hear that kick) and Phonk music, use it for walks etc, nothing too crazy. I really liked the free2’s but thought I could do better with the noise cancelling. Just curious what other people think since I haven’t seen much of a comparison between the two, and was mainly intrigued by the app and NC.

i've been getting the life p3i as xmas gifts for friends and family as they've been discounted between 35-40 dollars. however, when i saw them for 33 dollars recently i got a pair for myself. turns out the life p3i can connect to 2 devices. the marketing material never mentions it but it does work i have it paired to my iphone and laptop. that alone makes the p3i superior
And now we have the P40i. I’d love a comparison between the P3 and P40i.
Soon.
@@ELJefeReviewstrying to decide between the p3 and p4Oi trying to decide before Sunday
Was gonna go p3i till I heard the difference in mics. Nobody wanna hear that tbh
😂😂😂
What will be a better choice?
amazing video dude! keep up the good work!
Thanks! Will do!
Just like with Soundpeats.. they release so many ear buds so close it the same.. or with simular names or their successor but are so different.. T1 or T2.. H1 or H2.. crazy.. Soundcore rocks though.. thanks for a great video.. 👍
Glad I could help!
I have the soundcore life p3i and they sound amazing. But the only downpoint in my opinion is that there is not enough button clicking patterns for all the commands.
How's the mic quality in phone calls?
Hello, Jefe. Between the sound quality of the p3i and a3i, which one is the winner for you? Congratulations on the excellent reviews.
A3i
@@ELJefeReviews Jefe, hello again. Have you had the opportunity to listen to Moondrop space travel? I saw several reviews of this tws and its tuning is highlighted as a good differentiator. If you've used them, does it have better audio quality than the a3i? Thank you for answering my question about the a3i and p3i.
I used the P3 for work because of the microphone quality. Then use the P3i for a daily earbuds for the gym and general use.
Which one is better into sound quality, and transparency ?
Life p3 or p3i ?
Excellent review as always 👌 👌 👌 👌 👌. I actually got the P3 the 2nd time couple of days ago for £49.99 I am glad I did as the firmware update is excellent for phone calls outdoors and indoors. Your voice sounds like your voice on these earbuds, unlike other earbuds which may make your voice sound tiny or too bassy. I have tried them last year and they were very bad in call quality. Worth every penny and more, the P3s. Big brother have you seen the firmware update?
Of course. I applied the FW update as soon as it was available.
@@ELJefeReviews its really amazing how good the call quality is... Especially when I used it last year and now it is day and night difference 😀
Wow! Thank you for the Mic test!
No problem 👍
There is an updated version of the Soundcore Life P3 with Bluetooth 5.2 and 50 hours playtime.
There seems to be a newer version of the p3 just without the "Life" with 10 hours of battery life and 5.2 Bluetooth. It's really confusing
Thank you for the clarification and explanation❤
Glad I could help.
Thats the best bet for sure!
Hi El Jefe, which Spinfit eartips go with life P3 & p3i. I have both of them. P3 are my premium earbuds and p3i I like to take out because box is small and slim. However I do really love the controls on p3i. Thank you for your amazing reviews.

Which one is better into sound quality?
P3 or p3i
I LOVE soundcore!
100% man. Gotta buy what works best for you.
Did you try both?
@@umpus I actually just got the button ones (P3i). Worked great for me
you literally dont look like you sound, remind me of the homie from CPT, However, thank you for the detailed and informative vid bud. Quality work 👍Subbing
I appreciate that bro!
Today I bought the liberty 3 pro and also life p3i interests me too
Right on!
Love soundcore but I can't wear ear buds with the rubber pieces on them. What alternatives would you recommend that dont have the rubber pieces like the old apple airbuds? Thanks.
Here are a couple good budget options for you.
Soundcore Life Note 2S -> geni.us/KUIG6c
Soundpeats Air3 -> geni.us/ZGWyK70
Soundpeats air 3s are the truth
Dang, the mic sound is significant different. Although the P3 sounds clearer, it is a bit annoying in a crowded place
Agreed.
I don't feel that any of them is good when it comes to voice calls.
Do you recommend any other option in Soundcore that are so good in calls rather than those two options mentioned?
That's what I needed to know. Thanks
Glad I could help!
Major props for the disclosure. It's really appreciated. Good comparison. One thing I'd like to know is how they compare size-wise. Which one sticks out of the ear more?
P3 sticks out slightly more than P3i. It's barely noticeable.
Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day!
Same to you!
Is life p3 still a good deal if I'm getting it for 40 bucks? Or are there better choices at this price point
?
nice & crystal clear explanation thaks😍
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Nice earbuds. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible day. Much love and RESPECT
Thanks bro! You too!
Latency is still crap for the P3, even with gaming mode on. I don't recommend them at all for games. However, for everything else they're awesome.
Fair enough. This is why I continue to use IEMs for my CoD mobile games.
Brilliant thanks mate
Glad I could help!
I need help deciding which earphones to get out of these:
Sony WF-C500
Soundcore P3i
Earfun Air S
Mainly looking for the best sound quality and least latency as possible when watching videos, which ones do you think I should go with (or you can rank them)? Thanks
Great Review!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi! Just subbed. I'm looking for TWS with a stem, button controls and ANC. I've seen the review for these and 3anc on your channel. Any others that you'd recommend?
Thanks in advance!
No. These are your best options in my opinion. Also, thank you for subbing.🙏🏼
Awesome, thanks!!
Great review and comparison
Glad you enjoyed it
If I have small ears, are the Soundcore life P3 a good choice?
Good Day Sir El Jefe 💜
Buenos dias!
Instead of P3i why didn't they just improve on the P3 and make them P3 Pro that would have made much more sense .
Agreed!
So a smaller stem, button controls, and a better battery life? Take my money! Do you know if they’ll introduce cool colors like the P3 has?
No word on this yet.
Love your videos bro
I have a Xiaomi Redmi phone, what in your opinion should I go for the Redmi Buds 3 Pro or the P3i?
P3i
@@ELJefeReviews Thanks man, much appreciated 🙏
I think I found the perfect earbud. Can you recommend a budget earbud no more than 60.00 that would be the offspring of the mini pro and Soundcore p3i? never knew I was this picky about music lol. Thanks again!
Here -> geni.us/7cJy0k
That’s funny I just watched your video on that last night! Thank you!
The "Life P3" are now just called "P3"? The battery life is now 10 hours? Did they update them? It's very confusing.
I have a question,
The prices currently are:
Soundcore Life P3 - US $ 57.81
Soundcore Life P3i - US $ 44.84
What should I buy?
Life P3 are still the better choice.
@@ELJefeReviews thank you for the answer, I appreciate.
Which earbuds would you recommend to buy? P3i or P3? Tnx
Hello! , do you think that these earbuds are better than the edifier neobuds pro in terms of the sound quality, and i lean more in the bass. Thanks Jefe
No.
You have the best face and profile pic love it!🔥🔥
Thanks.😎
I wish they would release on-ear version, not a fan of in-ear the ear fatigue is annoying.
hello man solid video I wanted to ask in the uae p3i is 200 aed and the p3 300 aed which should since the difference is a little bit on the high side?
Go with 200 aed.
I ordered the p3i from Amazon for £33, then read about the gaming mode on the p3 so managed to get a brand new set off eBay for £37. For an extra 4 bucks I find the idea of low latency more appealing as a steam deck headset, compared to the extra amount of battery, as I only use them a max of 3 hours at a given time.
what do you recommend, the Soundcore Life P3 or EarFun Air Pro 2 which one have more and better Bass
Great review, thanks. In your opinion which is better P2 mini or P3i ? I would use it for calls and teams/Skype
Hello! Which headphones did you chose?
Got the P3i for 40$ +8,50 delivery.
P3 would cost me 100$ in my country, including duties etc
thus im gonna get the WH 1000xm4 as I saved some money :D
P3i are very good! I hope you enjoy them. I would avoid the Sony XM4. If you want Sony, get the LinkBuds S. Less money with better comfort and improved call quality.
@@ELJefeReviews i meam the WH, over ear, not earbuds.
And WH xm4 are the best wireless ones, no?
Which earbuds can be used with ANC ON independently with each bud. I'm an Uber driver and I'm not allowed to have both earbuds on.
But ANC is a must to reduce car road noise, thanks 👍
I have the life p3 and I can’t turn on anc or transparent hearing without both earbuds on. Personally, if you really want both earbuds just keep one out the case and keep the other in your ear. They can be used independently for listening tho 👍.
Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, Lypertek PurePlay Z5, and Apple AirPods Pro offer this feature.
You can take both of them out of the case, set one to the side, and turn on mono mode on ya phone. That’s what I usually do!
Just add button controls to the p3 and I'll rebuy it just for that.
Agreed!
Same here. For me, that’s the only advantage of the P3i.
I mean here these cost 44 and the life p3 always stay at 79 so the p3i are so much better for the value
Then your choice is simple.
Go for the less expensive option.
Thanks for the review. Are these the same as the Life Note 3i from Best Buy? Got them for $35.
Same thing.
@@ELJefeReviews gracias amigo. Te la rifas! Dios te bendiga a tí y a tu familia este 2024.

I just received the P3i model and I actually think that the bass doesn't have the rumble that I am looking for. Does the P3 have a bit more bass or is the sound exactly the same as the P3i? Thanks.

1. Switch the tips. Poor seal can lead to poor bass response.
2. Use the app to activate the BassUP feature in the EQ.
@@ELJefeReviews Just tried it. I think the problem I am having is that I am thinking that I will get the same rumble that I get from the Soundcore Q30s. Thanks for the help, though. I appreciate it.

Excellent!
With VR-AR-MR becoming in the coming years I can't wait to see what the competition will bring in the ultralow latency space.

hey, i found these extremely cheap, almost half of the price of the P3, it´s worth it?
I just purchased a pair of the p3i’s for myself after having owned the Free2 classics. Are they considered an upgrade by your standards in comparison?
I mainly listen to Metal (like to hear that kick) and Phonk music, use it for walks etc, nothing too crazy. I really liked the free2’s but thought I could do better with the noise cancelling.
Just curious what other people think since I haven’t seen much of a comparison between the two, and was mainly intrigued by the app and NC.
What do you think of the P3i's? How good are they?
