Haley is awesome. Most of the songs she picked for season 10 are being used all over in other song competitions like X factor, the voice and season 11. Even Smash had Katherine Mcphee do "Call me" as well. It shows that Haley has a way of picking songs (that were almost forgotten or not noticed much) and interpreting them to revive their popularity. Love Haley's taste in music.
Haley is very versatile and gutsy. You can expect her to do something different each week and still do very well. This song is light, fun and frivolous so it does not showcase the soulful, jazzy and cool side of Haley and the judges are complaining. But it's a very fun performance and it reminds me of the 80s when the light british pop style was so popular. She is really fun to watch.

Some of the other contestants had less than perfect renditions and no stage presence and she actually looked like an actual star performing at an actual concert. The total package! I have no idea of where they were coming from! Most entertaining performance by far of the night. She is always exciting

I'm not sure where the lyrics were "messin up" but live songs on Idol are always truncated versions of songs. The judges on Idol have always had utter contempt for Blondie (a carryover from Simon's days I believe), but at least Jimmy Iovine seemed open-minded about Haley covering this one.

"You Outta Know" is not a song to sing while dancing around the stage...if you've ever seen Allainis' video she's pretty much lays about til the chorus. Haley's studio version is fantastic...never knew the words to the song before. It's an old trick (ask Phil Collins) that gender reversal that Simon always recommended but very few heeded. As for bottom three...the Whitney Houston song....Baaaaad! with or without the lipstick. And I agree...she is the best AI has had...ever. great boots!!
