I own 11 acres near KCMO and have my own airstrip. I have an old Falcon high-wing trainer and an Eflite Pulse, which I'm planning on getting out this year. My strip is 90' long and 12' wide--short grass. I need to drop in without hitting my horse fence on final approach--so it's like landing on an aircraft carrier! I've talked to pilots at Whiteman AFB (30 miles away), and they recognize my airstrip. I get knife edges, wing wags and afterburner passes often--gotta love a private air show! God has really blessed me! Love you guys!
WOW WOW WOW! I don't get envious often, but when I do...😂 I was stationed at Whiteman years ago. The afterburners on a B2 must be fantastic!
@@larrycox6614They rumble for ever! I've had C130s wing wag at me, and the T38 pilots do knife edges and wave at me. I make sure to stay on the ground at the time when they usually fly over my place. Thanks for your service!
I have been flying for about 6 months and fly at the Oroville, CA Air Corps Field. It has the tallest earthen dam in the U.S. and the after bay is a few steps away from the paved runway, so you have the option of wheels or floats from the same parking space. My favorite plane is the Eflite Cherokee, but my coolest is the B-24 Liberator. Enjoy your videos!

@@johng5395It would be a tight squeeze, if you have anything larger than park flyers, in my opinion. On my field I have to turn onto the final leg and immediately start descent into flare! No time to stabilize the glide path. Does make for excitement! It also gives me something to do in the winter, when my aircraft revert back to kits! Part of the fun!

Live in Mississippi, been flying for 15+ years. My dad flew back in a day when I was a little as how it got to me that was back in the 80s. I started flying 15 years ago and used to live in Washington state now we live in Mississippi…
I am flying because I’m working too much while I fly my drone and my quad my house and I got some little tiny helicopters .
Before we moved, I sold my whole hanger load planes..
So I have to start back up again. I did a couple small helicopters and a couple quads and my DYI Drone.

an Apprentice, a Habu 50mm, and an Arrows Trekker. I fly at an AMA field near Valley Park, Missouri called Buder Park. There's a great bunch of helpful pilots there.
I always watch your videos before I buy a plane. St. Louis weather hasn't been that great for me this Spring. Usually fly when it gets light enough to see the planes in early a.m.

Just across our street there's lot of farm fields to fly on and an airfield few kilometers away. I have a bunch of FliteTest planes which I started the hobby again with. I also have about ten bought planes. Mostly electric but one of them is a P-40 with a four stroke SAITO FA-56B engine.

I fly at the Flying Pilgrims RC Club - Michigan - Joined this club in 1980. We have an asphalt runway. I take these planes to the field. Conscendo Evolution, Cirrus, Cessna 150T & T-28 Air Force. I also fly at my sons 10 acre backyard. Grass Lake, Michigan. Cool topic for this video. 👍

I'm in charge of public works for the town I live in. So I can fly whenever I want, in the fields in town.
I just need to look out for the occasional mid-week, middle of the day, dog walker.
I'll be flying my eflight 1.2m T28 tomorrow morning before work.
It's definitely my favorite plane to fly right now.

I just maidened four new planes in Canandaigua NY. Our club field has short grass. I flew the Arrows Corsair (didn’t like the grass), an 850mm Pitts S-1S that didn’t have any issues with the grass, a Flite Test Retro Rocket EDF (amazing!) and a mini FT Jn-4 Jenny. Amazing day.

Flying in Florida pretty much ball/soccer fields just getting started I built my first plane via flight test but never got enough time behind the sticks. Recently purchased voltex warbird and I love it.

I have that plane, thanks to your video. My canopy pops off all the time. I brought it down too fast and landing on the nose wheel, breaking the retract. Luckily, the replacement gear shipped fast and fits well.

I love the Arrows T-28 Trojan. I have a Hobbywing Skywalker 60a in mine and fly on 4s1800 mah lipo with a 9 x 6 x 3 prop. It's a rocket ship. You fly her well. Yall were meant to be. It's your Soul Plane.

I'm in the SW suburbs of Chicago and am just getting back into the hobby after a 22 year absence. I've been recently flying an Arrows SZD-54 glider but as soon as the weather cooperates around here I'll be taking an old CG Eagle II powered by an old Fox .40BB up in the air to get my "wings" back...

Right now I’m flying again for the first time since I was young because of your volantex videos. I picked up the red tail p-51 and it has been a blast. One of the limiting factors of building Sig kits as a kid was the cost. Today that is just not the case. Thank you guys. Love your videos.

really like this type of video style... this would make a great format for videos to revisit some of your favorite RCs ... ones that you've ran a decent bit, maybe upgraded, etc... or just some of the ones you think make the best buy at a price, or the best for someone who will just have one RC of a certain type(plane, boat, basher, etc)... but these candid videos just chatting while having fun with some RCs is great...
I'm from the NW ... no really close flying site or active group, but I can fly off the county road and over some pasture area at my mailboxes... I haven't flown my planes in a few years, spending all my RC time with racing lately...but hoping to get at least my sport cub or gemini biplane out this summer, and get back to more just for fun RC time...

I'll be flying float planes primarily at my cabin on the lake, near St. John's, Newfoundland Canada, extreme East coast. I've got a new Arrows Husky on floats ready to maiden. Can't wait. Love flying my Tundra off the water too.
We live in Western Canada on the Lake, currently have my 9 year old just flying a foam plan H650. Cheap and can land and take off on the lake. Later on can work into a higher end one. Works great for him can take crashes and cheap to fix

As a musician and homeowner really don’t have time but I’m thinking music days are winding down and RC start back up. I built rubber powered balsa fliers in the 60s. Guillows baby! I’m thinking Trojan as I’ve been flying on a computer for a while as well. Lots of computer stick time. I’m very lucky I live half an hour from Muncie where the AMA is so I’m thinking I’m gonna do this right from day one I went ahead and got my trust test yesterday. Just don’t know what to buy!

I try to find country roads with fields kinda of a pain to drive to go fly. Everywhere is posted these days. You would love the rivers and lakes and mountains out here. Lots of rc boating as well. I float fly off lake Tahoe and fly at the Pony Express Airfield in Carson City.
Off the lake I fly a carbon cub s2, twin Otter and a night timber X. At the Airfield I fly a Corsair, Pitts 850mm, ultimate 3D. All are the e-flite brand. Not a fanboy just have enjoyed the ease of BnF since I started out. Hoping to get my first balsa plane this year. I'd like it to be a float plane as I'm truly blessed to be able to fly off what I consider one of the most beautiful lakes in the country just 2 blocks from my house!

Hey guys came across this channel about 2 years u guys inspired me to start flying I went with the carbon cub s2 I'm all the way from Belize Central America I go to fly at my local field had to learn all on my own since nobody has rc planes where im from. I fly on a vacant lot about half a city block long and as wide as street with house lots on each side at 8500ft in Colorado. I had to relearn how to land as I moved from Houston TX where I would dead stick land,
I fly with a small group of people at a state park outside of Macomb Illinois. It's windy and rainy every day! I'm going to re maiden my Ultimate 3d biplane with mechanical throws maxed out and the nose weights removed! I'm excited to see how much more manuverable it will fly!

I live in Toronto, Ontario Canada. I mostly fly planes, toy quadcopters/helicopters and run RC Cars at my old High School C.W. Jeffery’s football field/track, Planes/Camera Drones at York University Sports Fields, Camera Drones at Eglinton Flats, and finally at Downsview Park I do it all…Planes, /Toy Quadcopters/Helicopters, Camera Drones, and RC Cars and Boats. I also like to go to various spots along Lake Ontario to get some nice video with my Camera Drones.

Speaking of the Corsair I have one built and hanging in my room. How’s it fly is there anything I need to look out for before maiden flight. I’ve been nervous to fly my “retractable gear” war birds especially the Corsair. It’s my favorite full size plane due to a visit to the USS hornet where I actually got to sit in one

There is a 200' near vertical drop at the end of the runway so your three mistakes high as soon as tou take off.

Coming from Lawton OK (abt an hour and a half away from OKC and 3 hours north of Dallas. I have a retired mini aeroscout and currently like flying little Amazon planes, but just bought a build a 1300mm fms supercub. Should maiden this Thursday the 4th
so funny thing, I was making sure everything worked on the plane abt 7:45 pm and it went haywire and did full throttle even though it was the transmitter was at 0 throttle, I wasn’t ready for it and it hit my hand a solid 2 times, and when I tried to get away, hit my back less than my hand. Instantly opened it up and took the battery off but just got back from the ER and I now have 7 stitches on my hand. Definitely no maiden tomorrow🤣

Nate, what are your thoughts on the Radiomaster TX16S? Considering purchasing one but value your opinion.
I fly at two fields here on Florida's nature coast. One is a soccer field (multiple fields), and the other a FRIA field with fabric runway. Just got the T-28 .... waiting to fly .. WHAT did you arrive at for CG ... I don't think I am balanced even with a 4S 3300 fully forward !! I'm not even sure the ESC is rated for 4S, it is not labeled about it's rating. I only have 6 channels, so will be flying with the gear permanently down and SAFE and AS3X enabled until after a couple of successful flights !
What do you recommend for an entry level 6 channel transmitter? My son and I are just getting into the hobby, and looking to move beyond the Volantex micro warbirds.
I own 4 achers of house property and 23 1/2 of farm land and im nww to this hobby and have been saving to get the 1300 pa18 (indiana)
Do you need a remote ID device to fly at that airport and if so which one are you using- would love to see a review.
I have a rc turbine jet and i fly at a flying field and it gets everyone to watch but its expensive to run the gas is a lote and the Maintenance are crazy
