Dr. Berg talks about what it means when you get up too fast and feel dizzy. This indicates possible adrenal weakness because the adrenal is not recovering.

Nuby29 same I bet we’re all gonna get powers soon😂😂
You are a Gem of a doctor. We need more doctors like you in this world to make this world healthier and happier
thank you :)
Totally agree. Thank You Dr. Berg.
U need more people like me haha
He is not a doctor.
@@EricBergHRV how can we prevent this sir ? Solution ?
This exact thing happened to me today. My wife yelled at me for working in the heat. I told her I'd check Dr. Berg to see what's up and lo and behold... new video today on this very subject. Thanks Dr. Berg.
Bourne Accident I think dr. Berg spies on us 😅
thank you, dr. berg for attending our requests.
Thank you Dr. Berg, this video came just in time for me & my mom! Both of us always feel dizzy & even black out when standing up quickly. In fact my mom blacked out and fainted briefly on the street when trying to quickly stand up after crouching to pick something up. I too once blacked out when trying to stand up after cleaning my hamster's cage. We've been told by doctors that it's due to our low blood pressure and there's nothing we can do. After watching this video I'm going to research more about adrenal fatigue!
I just took your quiz and reviewed the results. I have watched many of your videos, I take your nutritional yeast, D3 and K2, liver cleanse and gall bladder support supplements. I do intermittent fasting, started exercising. Added sugar is totally gone from my diet. Thanks to you I have lost 27 pounds in 2 years and reduced visceral fat. I have reduced my insulin resistance. I am eternally thankful to you for my success. I have kidney issues and my GFR is at 66. I will order the other supplements you recommend and will continue watching your videos. I still have much to improve my health and will continue working. Thank you again,
always super dizzy when I stand up.
you look adrenally fatigued ,
David Edwards 12661 having two toddler boys makes anyone adrenal fatigued lol
watch Dr berg`s videos about the adrenal hyper activity and hypo activity that both results in the adrenal fatiguness , he is the peerless Doctor.
David Edwards 12661 thanks. I will!
Me too. 😔
Love your channel. I just found you yesterday, and I've already watched hours of your content. Keep up the great work. :)
My mam says it bcuz I’m on my phone all the time like 24/7
So does my mom LMAO!
Well, could be all the physiological stress from the cellular radiation?!
The radiation and it will cause numbness in your fingers. Put it out of your sleeping area at least when you sleep
Same
@Eyezor it's the whole cell phone
Today itself I was looking for the reason behind this thing! I am relieved you released the video today! Thank you so much Dr
Thank you Dr Berg I needed this video so badly.
dr berg's the best
I have to fight not to collapse and sometimes I just have to sit or lay down again.
Thank you for what you do, I am sure this is passion of yours to help and educate. it means you are doctor for the right reasons .
Thank you again👍
Just saw your post on this. I have another alternative answer to this and one i can speak from first hand experience as i spend the July 4th weekend in the Hospital E.R. On Friday I was fine up till point after driving home on commute, I got up and out from car and started walked into my house and all suddenly was dizzy, lightheaded, with rapid heart/pulse rate. I could barely standup and almost passed out standing up. Sitting down slowed things down a bit to recover, but standing up went back to rapid heart/pulse, dizziness etc. Ended up in the E.R. And had a blood count of 6/14. I was shocked when Dr told me! Had a bunch of test and an Endoscopy Exam of GI Track. I had a bleeding Stomach Ulcer for some unknown amount of time that caused me to loss over 1/2 my blood count. On standing up, heart didn't have enough blood to pump blood around body and to brain which caused me the rapid heart/pulse rate, lightheaded and dizziness. Spend 3 days in the E.R., had 2 blood transfusions, IV and some meds to heal my Stomach and GI Tract. Was put on Pantoprazole for medication to continue to heal GI Tract. But that one almost killed me. In my case, the dizziness from standing up plus execrated heart/pulse rate and can barely stand was caused from loss of blood from internal bleeding.
Ardent Dfender Wow!
Thanks for sharing. Hope you are feeling better!
It never bleed out of your stomach?
I get this ALL this time. Head spinning, feeling weak of all of a sudden. This video came at the perfect time.
Quick question... Did you at anytime verbalize that you're dizzy with your phone around? I thought of something rather specific and a day or two later my phone popped up with the video on the thing that I have thought. I start tripping thinking that my phone can read my thoughts. I really hope you feel better I've been getting busy too so I can totally sympathize and empathize. I wish you the best.
@@kg-Whatthehelliseventhatif i know i am going to grocery store
Potassium and Magnesium is great. Also getting enough salt. I drink tomato juice with salt and/or eat potatoes to avoid feeling dizzy. Mind you I have an ostomy and my large intestine is by-passed.
thank you so much for this video. I'm going through the playlist in the link below . your evaluation basics videos are really informative . simply awesome. I'm having the dizzy spells when I rise up too fast . I have upped my salad intake and have been taking about 20 min walks. that seems to help. also I have increased my salt intake. in one of your evaluations you mentioned that too much kale can decrease iodine and affect thyroid .......didn't see that one coming. anyways deep gratitude for all your work. I am trying to spread around the good that you do in the world.
This happens with me. Thank you, doctor.
As I understand it, the dizziness/drop in blood pressure is simply a sign of dehydration and low blood volume which is common in people not getting enough salt and fluids on a ketogenic diet.
agree. I have needed to up my salt intake on the keto diet. but the diet works like magic. feel awesome.
Interesting, I never consumed much salt. I have just recently started to take about half a teaspoon on my vegetables in the beginning of cooking them.
I thought salt is bad, I've been avoiding it like the plaque
@@JohnnytNatural it depends what type of salt. I use Himalayan salt. They say it"s better.
Nuby29 ,me too and have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, so too much salt should be bad for me
Thank youdear Dr Berg!! For any questions I have regarding health I come to you and always find the answer. God bless you..🙏❤️
GOOD INFO DR. BERG. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I get like this during intermittent fasting
I think you should hire a few people to read your comments. There are some super valid questions on your videos. Thanks for everything!!!
He does! He has a whole team of people working with him - check out his website to learn more
You are one smart doctor. You nailed the cause of my symptoms spot on target. Amazing, simply amazing. Only one other doctor had diagnosed my dizziness correctly. I'm impressed.
Keep faith in heart. Faith is big pillow.
@@gurgurgur Santa Claus REALLY helped me....keep the faith!
Dr. Berg you are a breath of fresh air! You empower people, and i have no doubt that your hard work and dedication has bettered the lives of thousands... i am woundering if you know anything about duretts syndrum (wrong spelling maybe) i would greatly hope you could make a clip on the topic should you have any information to share. Thank you again.
You should also mention Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) in this video which my daughter has and often makes her feel dizzy or light-headed when standing or getting up. Other symptoms can be temporary loss of eyesight and the mimicking of stroke symptoms.
Dr thank you very much for quiz..it was great one.
You made a great useful channel. Thanks for it :D
Thank you Dr berg my mum suffers with this and you have helped her so much thank you very much
My pleasure.
Great vid as always
I think it’s important to note this test is not only for adrenal issues. It can be a side effect of meds, or dehydration, or other neurological problems.
I always stand up and get dizzy but typically i stand there for a sec and let it go away, one day i didn’t let it pass kind of like a test, and after 30 seconds I started experiencing nausea and intense dissociation and felt like fainting was a clear possibility. I also felt like throwing up. My fix was just lying down and eventually letting it pass
I used to get really dizzy when i stood up even fainted once, i figured out that i was not taking enough air in, and when i breathed my dizziness went away.
Did it go away for good?
I'm so glad i found this video, i have had this problem for awhile now. For example, if i'm in a store and i need to crouch down to get a closer look at an item on the bottom shelf, when i stand back up, i get dizzy and i have to hold on to the shelf and focus my eyesight for a few seconds before i feel ok again.
Hi. I have the same problem.. did you find what it was?
@@mya92c17 No, not yet!
Thanks
Hey Man! thx alot.
I actually felt this just today. I sat up out of bed and was dizzy, and ever since I got out of bed ive been somewhat dizzy. Not to the point of disorientation but enough to notice.
That is what Im feeling right now Doc.
I listen and watch your vids. They are really excellent. I am thankful to have the information as I can not see doctors. In many videos of one topic or another, you may speak of things as you do here, and my mind goes to my personal problem which is PTSD. So in regard to this video, I would like to hear your thoughts where we have a situation where we know chronic glucocorticoid and adrenal activity is activated waaaaay too often. So without any tests, I can only wonder if my adrenal glands are getting awfully tired because of my problem. I have asked similar questions when you speak of balancing your body through diet etc. and I know I already have too much cortisol flowing through me thus a high cortisol problem because of PTSD. My questions come as I do not know how to apply your advice of lowering cortisol or controlling adrenal function, when I can't.
I think my doctor said it was low blood pressure. Because I'm a poor water drinking and the cause is dehydration.
I have this. Pressure drops a lot. But I had my cortisol checked by blood work and it's normal.
Can you make a video on how to prevent hair loss during the ketogenic diet and why people experience when they're on this diet?
Thank you Dr Berg for the Informations, how if I don't have anything to measure the blood pressure? How can I discover adrenal fatigue or hyper adrenal? Any other symptoms a part dizziness?
6 weeks 5kgs down... you're a total legend!! thank you!
What you did?
I knew it was from blood pressure but this started for me when I went on a ketogenic diet. I think in my case it's because I'm on bp meds and maybe my bp is going more normal due to proper eating for awhile. Time to get it checked!!
NewYorkGirlieGirl That sounds like it’s likely be a lack of B1 as the need for it & the whole B complex go up on Keto!
Also electrolytes!
how is it now?
Thank goodness for this video, I have this problem for long time and so scare about it. Thank you Doc. Please do video on nosebleeds for kids please please
My husbands nose bleeds came from adding black pepper to everything since I no longer use seasonings! they almost immediately stopped after a couple of meals my family doctor had suggested to stop the pepper and honestly I thought it was crazy well worth the try. Beacause I did once pay $1,000 for an er visit so a so called doctor can tell me to squeeze his nose and the bleeding would stop now that is crazy! Please if you do consume it try eliminating it for a week!
Is there any way to email you? I really need some advice and direction :(
I have this but it’s due to BPPV. Benign proximal positional vertigo, crystals in the ear canal. Since it’s very common it’s also a good idea to rule this out as well. Thanks Doc.
I had this for about two weeks, then the crystals dissolved.
i feel light headed, dizzy and black out after i stand up from sitting or lying down. But this never happens when i workout in the gym or jog 5km
It happens when I suddenly getup after a long idle periods. I see this usually when I'm on 24-48-72 hrs fasting only, not regularly. I don't see this pattern when I'm on 1/2/3 meal keto/carb diet. I follow bergs it could be fluid loss(electrolytes, salt, etc..), adding them back is the key, but this video talks about adrenals? If mine were hyper/hypo it should happen anytime, but that's not the case. It's only happens when I fast extended periods.
Same. Did you get any explanation?

Dr Berg, what about feeling dizzy after a meal for non diabetics or pre diabetics?
I see someone is calling you the "peerless doctor"...I AGREE!
Notification squad ? and i do feel the dizziness. 😣
Can you do a video on Niacin (B3). Is it beneficial? Good for lose skin, fat cell, ketoers. Should anyone take it? Good for Detox?
I started experiencing vertigo when I began transitioning into perimenopause. But since taking a potent vitamin B12 complex supplement I've been symptom free for just over 2 months.
i do lemonade fasting for six days continously..feeling dizzyness when i stated drinking juices..
can u tell me
Kindly make a video about motion sickness.
Dr. Berg: thanks for bringing this up. I get this effect each time i try to get into Ketosis. So far i congratulated myself thinking it must be due to the ketosis.....but looks like i shouldn't be happy about this...!? :(
yes please share the link.
thanks
Just a reminder.......you rock!
Dr. Berg has THE best supplements!
Can you make a video on Vertigo? Some people I know are suffering from this and it seems to be absolute horror... causing them to vomit every time they stand up.
March 18, 2023
For menstruating women, low hemoglobin concentration from blood loss can produce darkened vision and vomiting, but that vomiting is a mechanism to temporarily restore brightness. The individual is weak and sleepy. It happened about half a dozen of times at various places that led me to a near death experience. When I found the cure, darkened vision never happened again. I didn't get dizzy anymore. That cure didn't include prescription medications.
The worst was continued blood loss from bleeding. Remove hospitalization because euthanizer will drain blood from blood vessels. Blood transfusion will restore, but some groups are against it.
please make video for natural white skin
Mine has gotten worse I’ve started to collapse on the ground and feel extremely weak
SUPRA FANS ARE TRASH take salt potassium and vitamin c and do some walking
Same, its every time I get up
If you want try let yourself faint a little bit and just rest a bit It might help
How r u today
I’ve had positional vertigo ever since I can remember. But in the last ten years it has got worse. It stops me from doing my daily routines. I feel disturbed. Almost everyday I have to spend few hours in bed and wait till vertigo passes. It’s caused by ear disbalance. My doctors have done absolutely nothing about it. I’ve heard Keto diet should sort it out. I’ve started Keto and hoping it will help me. Please make a video on how to get treated for vertigo. Will the Keto help me to get better?
It only happens if I'm sitting flat on the floor and then stand up. It's scary, I have to try to hold onto something because I feel like I might pass out, takes a minute to pass but a minute seems like 10 when you get nervous
can you give some pointers for recurring yeast infection please?
Dr,please do a video on meniear's disease.
dr. berg is ashwagandha herb can help adrenal fatigue?
how do you fix it ?
Doctor please do a video on extended fasting for 3 days etc.
Walking dizness alaways
super interesting
Is adrenal fatigue what causes orthostatic hypotension?
Can it also be caused from sinusitis symptoms such as nasal blockage??
My systolic pressure decreased by 23, and my heart rate increased by 65 comparing lying down and standing up. I was sure I had low blood pressure, but it so far is testing elevated to pretty high. I'm 6'8" tall, so mine should be somewhat higher. My symptoms all perfectly match low blood pressure from a dysfunctional autonomic nervous system, but the high blood pressure is really throwing me off. I'm two days into a water fast, though, so I don't know how that is affecting everything. If anyone has any feedback, I'd appreciate it.
I get lightheaded when I stand up but my blood pressure ALWAYS goes up. I have tried it several different times. Not once has it gone down.
Same here it goes up alot. Any changes...
I have always 10/6 all the journey
I'm doing keto for 4 months now, IF for 3 months. A week ago, all the sudden I get these dizzy moments when I jump up from laying down. I eat the recommended 7 to 10 cups of vegetables.
I don't understand why this all the sudden starts again. Can it just be the vitamin b1? I do use nutricional yeast to supplement b vitamins, though not daily.
Yeah me too
Dr. Berg, is this also related to hypoglycemia?
Dr. Berg, I like all your videos, I would like to know why people have yellow teeth no matter how hard and frequent they brush their teeth? thank you.
How do I check my blood pressure?
