Can The Original GTX TITAN Still Game at 60FPS Ultra?

  • It's been over six years since the original 6GB GTX TITAN released for the grand sum of well, a grand. At $999 it didn't make too much sense for gamers, considering the 780Ti offered similar performance for $200 less, but it could certainly handle every modern title at the time with ease exceeding 60 FPS at the highest settings.
So can it still do that today and if not, what does it take to hit 60 frames per second with this old beast? Let's find out!
    Test Specs:
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600
    16GB 3200MHz Corsair DDR4
    Zotac AMP GTX TITAN 6GB
Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W PSU
    Windows 10 Pro
    Games Tested:
    Battlefield V
    Fortnite
    GTA 5
    Metro Exodus
    PUBG
    Rage 2
    Just Cause 4
    Rust

No one in 2020 think $1000 for a 2080ti is a goo deal. I know this is a joke but it’s kind of dumb because it makes no sense. The 2080ti is one of the worst cards for price/performance even at $1000 it’s still a scam, the only people that buy it are youtubers or rich people that want to have the best of the best so they’ll pay premium. 2080 super is a much better choice (even tho it still doesn’t have good price/performance) because it’s $700 and it has around 5-10% fps loss in games

The 2060 is already a great card, you can get some very cool looking ones for relatively low too, 2070 Super is probably what anyone sane should settle for, 2080S is great but barely worth it

@@rafahdez2772 Looking at all the benchmarks its pretty close performance wise, its beats the 2070 hands down and for alot cheaper, i looked at both cards and went with the 5700xt for £385 which i think is a bargain

What I learned in this video:
Random dogs attack you on the street in GTA 5
I have no idea how I didn't know that before

Still rocking this things smaller brother GTX770 - still gaming at 1080p and it seems absolutely fine at the moment. I remember in the 2000's, if you had the same card for two years you just weren't gonna be playing the latest games at an acceptable level of detail. The longevity of graphics cards these days is pretty unbelievable.

You should test the entire titan line, this is interesting. I remember being starstruck with the titan, and now the middle tier nividia cards smash it LOL

I doubt most people can afford the entire titain line

I THINK YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON TO BENCHMARK RUST THAT I WATCH. I personally think rust is a good game to benchmark
