Like wow, the power consumption difference between those two cards! AMD used to really power hog for sure. Some cases, looked close to 40% to 50% more power on the same title.

GTA IV won't ever be right on PC. Lots of effects missing. Sucks, but c'est la vie.

Yeah that's something that's always bothered me as well. So the PC keyboard has like 10 million buttons... but we can only use like 6 of them, so we'll have to double up and make the "open door button" also be the "throw grenade button."

Still using it to this day since 2015, running on a MSI X99S SLI PLUS water cooled running between 3.8Ghz and 4.4Ghz (depending if I need the extra power, but it does get hot even on water). Sill got games that use my Windows 7 partition that work better there than Win 10/11. I am planning on throwing 64GB of RAM at it to give it some extra life. Right now with SSD, RTX and 32GB RAM is still coming in the top 10 of ALL the benchmarks.

I got the low profile version ARC Eco A310 just for the AV1 encoder in a OptiPlex 7060 Small Form Factor. It's a bit loud but works great for my needs, Halo Infinite it struggles at low settings.

I am actually super impressed at what you get for that kind of money! Personally, I only build what one could call very high-end computers, but watching these movies really points to that these high-end computers are a bit of waste. I mean, you can enjoy Witcher 3 on this card!

I always think to my (old) self, that when there are those goofy drops - what we would have thought of these graphics when pixel-art was not a choice, but a necessity.... That said, we always agree... but I remember thinking Bard's Tale III was awesome in 1988, and... yeah I guess it still is? I also thank you for the Pentium 'love'... this has become my favorite modern low end CPU... It does some stuff really, really well. It can actually hack out BG3............. Stop laughing ;) Edit: If I load this into my CRT Pentium setup, I will post my results here. I've been hemming and hawing about this game, as I'm quite a Celtic history buff (that's my avoid reason, LOL). But... I have a Pentium G7400/RX5500 8GB setup running for my CRT right now... For Owlcat's Pathfinder jam and even BG3, it's been solid. If you overload that little chip with a beefy GPU, it just welcomes sand kicked in its face. But when it has a fighting chance... damn... scrappy little bastard.
