Does it record GPS of the accident location?
How often do event data recorders readers (the ones used by law enforcement) need to be calibrated? And where can I find that information, Thanks.
What if the insurance company refuses to pull the black box?
Well I need that information from someone that hit me a year ago. if they put the air bag back does that mean it's reset? Like that will be just fucked
Nice video
Quick question
I was involved in an accident where it was alleged it was my fault. I sent the owner of the other vehicle along with their insurance company a Notice of Preservation of the EDR information
Was this a good move?
What happen?
can this record other cars around before the accident?
I know this is really old, but No it won't. To do that you want to invest in something like a dash cam.
@@lweaver2988 do you know on a 2015 Hyundai ELANTRA if anything is recorded before a crash thank you in advance
@@marcbee1234 the EDR or "Event Data Recorder" should save the details on how your vehicles was working for the 30 seconds or so just before the crash. Check your owners manual and it may have the specifics for how that black box works.
Could you tell me or where can I find the following info on a 2015 Hyundai Elantra SE:
How many seconds does the EDR record before a crash and after a crash?
Thank you for your help. @@lweaver2988
