Fantastic Shoe! For me, one of the best shoes to come to market in the past five years! It's quickly becoming one of my all-time favorites. It's just fun to run in. Protective and bouncy at the same time. Initially, I was concerned about the booty-style upper. I've had no issues at all with the upper. The fits is spot-on and is TTS. Will definitely buy another pair. I'm excited to see what's coming next in Mizuno's line up later this year and in 2025. Thank you for a terrific review.
@@timsmith7816 - same, you will probably also love the Cielo x1 also, more bouncy, just as soft, but much faster.
For me the Neo Vista midsole is perfect, i hope for V2 the same stack, same midsole (maybe a bit more durability) , with a new platform and upper like triumph 21
Love this shoe, but definitely a LSR shoe for me, anything quicker than that and I’m reaching for my Superblast, Cielo X1 or PXS 2. But definitely the shoe I’m turning to the most atm as I prepare for Chicago.
As a 250 lb runner this shoe did not work for me at all. Too compliant with almost no resilience at my weight. Also, the booty upper left my feet and ankles doing a lot of work to stay on the platform. I wanted to love this shoe but ultimately had to return it.
Probably not a problem for lighter runners but for me it was a big miss.
Love the midsole and underfoot feel for long runs. I just hope that they are not knit upper, it may work for some runners but most people don’t like knit upper that can’t dial in the proper fit they want.
I love the Neo Vista. It changes my foot strike bc i usually run on my forefoot but to get the most out of it I midfoot strike and I feel more efficient even though my coros tech tells me I'm actually not more efficient. Im running at a faster pace but my ground contact time is longer. My cadence is the same though. It feels like im coasting vs when i run in my Endorphin Pro's that feels more choppy.
This confirm my concern with the soft EVA based: the bounce won't last...
thanks for the review Matt. I bought it but have only 20k for now using just for daily runs I feel like its too soft for me for faster runs, I definetely gonna try it for longer runs with marathon page.
As an EVA based shoe will it freeze in cold? And how do you compare it to SC trainer?
I am skeptical to try because everyone said it is very soft.
This was my experience. I didn't get any of the bounce back which left me feeling like I was running in sand.
Hey Matt, Your thoughts on Neo Vista vs. Superblast 2 for marathon racing at 8:30-8:50 min/mi paces?
@@geoffb2900 great question. Initially I would have said the vista but now after all the miles, I like the Superblast 2 more. The midsole stays more consistent, it is slightly firmer and feels better over longer distances
Only problem I have is they get dirty really easily 😹😹 but not really a problem
