- This video sucks so much BUT I TRIED. I'll be filming the rest of my braces journey, so feel free to subscribe if you wanna see more (probs not tho bc this video is literally so bad, I swear the next one will be better).
This was my experience with getting braces. During the first few days they were so weird and I couldn't get used to them- but after a couple of days they just became normal and I totally forgot I had them! I didn't really experience any pain, besides when eating, but it was definitely tolerable. I'm so happy that I decided to get braces, and I'm so happy that I decided to get clear ceramic on the top. After I edited this video, I can definitely see a slight difference in my teeth already and it's only been a week!! I'm so excited to see the progress and change over the next few weeks/ months and I will film it for you guys, so you can see it as well :)

Emma Louise Hey Emma💕 So I'm litteraly sitting in bed right now watching all of your braces videos in order and it's so entertaining to me! I'm 13 almost 14 and I'm getting braces in 2 weeks and you've helped me a lot becauce now I know what to expect and I'm so excited because my problem with my teeth is really big and I've been waiting to get braces all my life. Even my baby teeth were messed up but I didn't really care at that time. Believe it or not it's gonna make a big difference in my life and I can't wait for my teeth to finally be straight.
P.S. I'm also getting elastics a few months after I get my braces.

I spoke to my orthodontist, something similar happened to me... he said that when your teeth are exposed to air for an amount of time, your teeth get dehydrated. So when you close your mouth, and get them wet again from your saliva, the chalky whiteness goes away.

Don't worry one of my brackets came off in the first half an hour I had them on too! but my orthodontist assured me it was just from the pressure of the braces:)
ILikeCats I got braces a week past Friday and every time I feel pressure a bracket pops was at the dentist 3 times in the first 10 days

I have to admit my teeth are pretty bad but I never noticed until I went to the orthodontist😂 so I’m naturally missing 2 teeth (both lateral incisor) which caused my canine to sit next to my central incisor. On the left side my lateral incisor never fell out which caused the grown one to move behind it, so I have a tooth behind a tooth. I also have a large gap in between my central incisor, and I have a large underbite (my bite is inwards.)
My treatment started like this: I got spacers in my upper teeth so that I could get an expander. I also had large pieces of glue on my mouth to keep me from biting down. (the expander was for widening my jaw so I would bite normally.) next I had to get headgear, a device that sits on your forehead and chin with a large metal peice that goes across, you use bands that attach to the hooks on the expander to pull your jaw forward (this type of headgear was larger than regular types due to the severity of the underbite.) You have to wear it for months on months and depending who it is it can be very uncomfortable. Eventually they doubled my bands so I had a thick one along with a tiny one to move the process faster. Keep in mind this device was only to wear at home as it converts the whole face and the bands protrude past your face. I still have to wear this. Next month I am getting braces for the bottom row. Eventually I will get my tooth pulled and braces on the top row, along with the headgear *I think.* There is definitely more detail but for now I’ll keep it “simple.” 😂 ok that’s my story

You’re a fucking lifesaver and all your braces videos helps so much, I’m 21 and got braces 3 days ago and I was soooo depressed and mortified (still am a little), to the point where I cried the day of because I was convinced I looked absolutely ridiculous and I had so much regret (because I had perfect teeth before but a shitty dentist told me I didn’t need my wisdom teeth removed and it fucked everything up). Anyway, your videos really helped me gain a little more hope and confidence, it’s day 3 and they’re already straighter and I’m confident I’ll remove them early (hopefully)
i just got braces, this is my full experience
got my braces 3 days ago, when they put on the braces it will not hurt at all. mine took an hour. after everything's done, your mouth will feel extremely weird. there won't be any pain once u leave the dentist but a couple hours later, the pain will kick in 😩. the brackets will be pushing against ur lips, please use wax if any of them are irritating, wax saved my life :)
for me, it was my back teeth that hurt the most so stock up on soft food! When there was pain i just ate ice cream and took some panadol which did help. As said in the video, it may be different to other people so ur braces may not hurt. In my experience, they did but only for 2 days.
I ate pasta on the second day and LOTS of the food got stuck between ur brackets and wires. please buy the piksters ( i think what they are called ) they do get the food under ur wires.
Take care of ur braces! They are expensive and please appreciate them.

I got braces yesterday😬 they didn’t hurt at all until I ate, but I took some panadol and it was all good. Today, they didn’t hurt at all unless I chewed, which hurt a lot. I did try to avoid it though, with a smoothie for breakfast, chips for lunch and rice for dinner (i was basically just swallowing the rice😂)

The reason for the white spots could be because when you get braces, your teeth build up and rebuild the teeth to make them become more straight. So the white part could only be semi Permanent.

Mine hurts so badly like I can't even sleep and eat properly. Even when I just move my mouth it hurts A LOT. It's now 3:27am here in my place and omg while Im even typing this, I can feel so much pain.
That “white stains” are just glue from when they were putting braces on, dont worry, this also happened to me :))

I've had ceramic braces for like 17 months now and I also get the white stuff on the bottom don't worry it goes away it has to do with your teeth enamel while you sleep or something. Btw they look so good ! ☺️

I am currently like a year and a half into braces... my teeth were fairly straight before braces, it was just my overbite. But, I have formed a major gap in between two of my teeth because I “over wore” my bands due to Coronavirus.... I probably would have them of now but, COVID-19 kinda extended the time. All we are waiting on is my bottom teeth to align with my top.

Ari B I have braces now and it’s been way over 4-5 weeks since I got them and they still hurt. The glue is so useless I swear it’s what u get for £1/$1 from the shop for kids to use in their ‘crafts’. The day I went home from getting my braces on my bottom teeth fixed guess what? THE TOP ONES DECIDED TO PLAY ME UP!! Now I have 2 loose brackets and one hurts that part above my top lip so badly! I would 100% NOT recommended the orthodontist I went too. ITS AUFULL

It’s doesn’t hurt only when u first get ur braces on and I had them for 2 years
With spacers, is it a problem to have one missing. I had four overall, but my bottom left spacer has magically disappeared. If you could answer, that would be extremely lovely! Love your videos!
The white stuff is probaly florosus (I don't think I spelled it right) it's when your teeth get too much toothpaste, mouthwash, or anything with flouride. Sometimes if you brush your teeth too long at nice before bed, wheb you wake up it's there but it's fine.
i recently got my spacers wednesday, so i have to wait until next friday for my braces. :)

February 20 got spacers-4 in total I’m 12 at the time 1 on left, right and top and bottom they feel terrible
February 28 got top braces hurt the 2 and 3rd day but I just had lots of cancour sours
August 3: got bottoms on worst pain ever she burned my gums with the blue light
August 5 hurts so bad and my gums are bleeding and I got 8 packs of the wax

I have one crooked tooth on my bottom row, it kind of of is twisted around and is underneath the tooth beside it (at the front) and a tiny overbite. I have always wanted braces (idk why) but I don't need them. I want to get my crooked tooth to be straight but idk how to without braces.
