- Hall of Fame jockey Calvin Borel has won over 5,000 races and has purse earnings over $121,000,000. He's the only jockey to win the Kentucky Derby three times in a four year span, accomplishing the feat with Street Sense, Mine That Bird, and Super Saver. So who was the best horse he ever rode? One of the best riders ever Calvin loved it when you rode mine that bird you did a wonderful job love you Calvin
Calvin Wins The Derby and takes off that Mount to ride Rachel in Preakness...That was a BOLD BOLD Move and CONFIDENT Move...He knows who and what Rachel is and basically GUARANTEED she would win the Preakness
My absolute favorite was the Mine That Bird win. Thanks for all the thrills Calvin!
Calvin is Great.
Love Calvin! I always watch him in his races--very carefully. What a pleasure. Plus there's his respect for Rachel.
