I wish you would let Xen talk more... He seems like a guy who needs to take his time saying something. And I really want to hear what he has to say. Other than that it's a great interview :)
I just saw Ne Obliviscaris last night for the second time and these guys never disappoint. What an incredible bunch of guys. Urn is an absolutely mind-blowing album.
good interview, but you probably should invest in a couple more mics so everyone can be heard. it's a bit frustrating when you can see people's mouths moving but nothing can be heard until you point the mic to them.
I've never seen so much chemistry between band members and the interviewer before, loved the quite deep conversations combined with the fun. Great persons and great video!!
Kyle Aman I thought about heading there as well but figured to skip it out because of the amount of shows I went to already. This year. Hopefully next year they come back and do different cities.
Sure. He basically said that the night before their very first gig as a band that he was hit by a car and seriously injured. This meant he didn't come to the Amenta gig that he was planning on going to with Tim that night. It also meant that he wrote the lyrics for the first album whilst recovering in a hospital bed, confronted by his own mortality. Which ties back into this particular record being in many ways a meditation on death in a myriad of different ways. Does this make sense? Hope it does. The audio cut out for the first time ever, but that I guess is what happens when you shoot for more than an hour. Thanks for watching. :)
Oh.. yes, makes sense now, thank you for clarification, it's really interesting story.. I reckon it's not only the audio but my English is not so good either :D Great interview anyway! Thank you Christina. Greetings from the Czech Republic :)
I actually have to say that, while obviously the quality of the (probably camera?) recording that you luckily had is not extremely good. I enjoyed it a bit more than the microphone? Because this way you can have a more open conversation? The microphone almost feels like it holds back Tim in this interview.. I understand that it's not always very practical. But just my thought! Thank you very much for the interview regardless!
Would you like to pay for them? I've since bought a couple of lapels, but they are a huge risk when doing videos on my own. You think I don't want more equipment??
Ok.. good interview Christina, but I don't think it's a good idea, per say, to bash on bands that have a net worth of over 20 mil lol Just a heads up also I love how awkward these interviews get
Thanks for watching! Not sure who you're referring to? What does a band's net worth have to do with anything? Can I not rag on shitty no talent pop star's because they're rich? Just curious :P
How are you not more popular with interviews like this?!
I guess that has never been my main focus, but feel free to share it around! Glad you dug it!
Definitely not their drive but let's be honest, most people listen to shite🤷♂️

I bought lapels recently but I didn't have the money at the time. Sorry I'm a one woman operation with limited resources.

Ha! Nah, I was just casually staring into your soul :P
These guys are incredible I could listen to them talk for hours hahaha ❤
She's a very good interviewer, always feeling good vibes from her and she knows how to drive a conversation

Chris look adorable when she randomly looks at camera so serious :D
I don't understand very well what Xen was saying about his accident, can anybody tell me what happened to him?

Thank you!
Mic goes out around 45 minutes

4:37 when she realizes she needs more mics
