As a former biker, I can honestly say: THAT is biker honor and shows once again what a huge heart most of us have! To fulfill a young, terminally ill boy's last heartfelt wish is so moving and touching - I have no words for it... If I were still driving today, I would definitely have been there ^^ (at 57 and as a mother, my active days are unfortunately long gone...). This video moves me to tears every time - and I am proud to have been a biker myself and grateful to all participating riders for this great campaign!

Unfortunately, another biker died on the way home after the event.

‘The 21-year-old biker Mathias S., who died in an accident after the “Krach für Kilian” campaign, should also not be forgotten. He had a fatal accident on his motorbike on the way back to Bremerhaven. His family has called for a fundraising campaign for children with cancer in need! That would be Matzes‘ last good deed, which he himself was happy to do.’
Nope Sir, Killian was to ill to leave the house. The original last wish from Killian was to hear the "roaring bikes".
Meanwhile this brave young boy passed away. 😭

Yes, you see them drive past the boy's house, I think it's the one you can see at 6:34 where all the people are. Maybe the kid was bedridden, too sick to go outside. The captions are not so great. They explain that they had put out posters with "Krach" (noise) written on them, so that the bikers knew when to make the engines roar.
"Gänsehaut" literally means "geese skin", ("Gans" = "goose", plural "Gänse") it's the German word for "goosebumps".
Yey, that's the house he had live. Kilian was unable to leave the house that day.

The initial scenes are not from this event. We don't have billboards at the Autobahn and certainly not in Portuguese.

I think the kid couldn't go out because of the sickness.
P.S.: it was in Rhauderfehn, Lower Saxony (close to the North Sea).
That was in Rhauderfehn Ostfriesland. North west germany, close to the northsee. Its close to my Hometown
That was in summer 2021 in a small town of the East Frisia Peninsula (Lower Saxony). Kilian died a few weeks later.
There are many different types of Cancer. 40 years ago it was a death sentence, now around 50% are curable if caught reasonably early.
Its a shame this has some footage from a South American bike rally cut into it. It didn't need it.

The kid was to weak to be outside, but he saw it from the window! Cancer is tricky, it comes in over 200 varieties! We have found cures for a few! 200 more to figure out, they are unfortunately all different...

The Bungalow with the sign KRACH is Killians home. He dies a few days later but he heard the sound. Don't drag a dying child in front of a camera!
Why can't you see the child live? We have very strict regulations about privacy here - and it is common sence to protect our children by not showing pictures of them in social networks. Have you recognized the visitor with his son on his shoulders? The son's face isn't visible...
The bikers in my German town make a Santa Claus run to our Center/ Home for the mentally and physically handicapped people with presents they collected and often paid for by themselves every December.🙂👍
If money could cure cancer, the rich would live and the poor would die in this unjust world.

Harleys are build for straigth Highways and wide american roads. Not the best fit to drive on curvy roads fast with a lot of sharp corners. And Harleys in Germany are to expensive for common people (You can buy 3 Sport-tourer for the Price of a Standard Harley).
Maybe they should make much noise so that the dying boy can hear them in his bed. There was a small group of people with a poster "the Bike Family greeds...". Maybe this was his family.

Yes he was to ill (in the middle of a chemo therapy) to go outside and there was the sign "Krach" in front of his House as hint that the should make as much noise (Krach in German) as possible from there.
