- Burger King brings back The Italian Original Chicken Sandwich. Features a "crispy" White Meat Chicken Patty topped with Mozzarella Cheese and Marinara Sauce on a Sesame Seed Roll. However, they played me with this one and now I may need to retire from this Fast Food Game indefinitely!!

I remember when food critics were only on TV like Adam Richman from Man Vs Food during the mid 2000’s to 2010’s and also Guy fiore from Dines Dives and Drive in’s and then the Internet came with random food reviewers and Daym Drops started his CZcams channel and at first I didn’t understand why but after watching his videos I grew to like and understand his purpose.
I know right? I'm genuinely happy for him!
BK has definitely gone downhill. I don't remember the last time I actually got warm/hot food from them. It's always room temperature, like it's been sitting out for a while
I think most of that is cause they aren’t frequented as much as chains like mc Donald’s, but I wouldn’t lie mc Donald’s is busy but my food somehow never tastes fresh.
@@jukenz5417 Mcdonalds never tastes fresh because of the fact that they're usually so busy. They have to rotate out food so that they never have to hold the lines at front counter or drive through. Usually food is made and then sits in a heater until used fully and then more food is cooked.
A lot of foods (based on your areas favorites) have food sit for awfully long times up to or over even an hour.
Food can also sit on the heated tray after its made for a while based on how busy it is and how many staff are in the store.
Last time I enjoyed was literally 15 years ago, tried a couple more times but never got that taste I experienced the first time. I'm from the Netherlands btw, so it's not just the US.
@@dan4030 Go into the restaurant and ask for everything fresh and see how it tastes. Maybe where you came from just changed the way they made certain foods?
I feel bad for you guys, especially considering Burger King started in America. In Australia Hungry Jacks (AKA BK) does pretty well for itself, they even changed their chips up and they're so much better than Maccas "fries".

@@MrSmokinGanja initially. Then the sandwich sits out, and they put the whole thing in the microwave when ordered, which ruins it. That's why the bun Daym got was so soggy. Again, typical BK.

I don’t know about others but at my Burger King we don’t microwave the food unless requested by the customer.

It's been literally years since I last ate at Burger King. The last time I ate there was at breakfast time early in the morning. I ordered two bacon, egg and cheese croissants. The croissants were as they should be, flaky and buttery. The bacon was decent. The egg is what killed the deal. The egg that they put on the sandwiches literally tasted like a wet sponge... it was that wet. The same sandwich from Dunkin' tasted far better. The lesson I learned that day... don't ever go cheap on your breakfast sandwiches. Always stay with the place that does it better. That experience reminded me why I haven't been eating at Burger King for years. Their food just isn't that great anymore.

I had one yesterday afternoon and I thought it was pretty damn good. I mean it was better than I was expecting , not that my expectations were all that high lol
The chicken Italiano was average at best... chicken was very processed and dry. Not enough seasoning for my taste.
The Ch'King sandwich is very good... much better in comparison. Actual breast meat, hand breaded.
In the early 90's their croissant breakfast sandwiches were insane. The new croissant is like bread instead of being flaky. Bring back the old croissant BK!!

One of my biggest put-offs for BK is how their remaining stores around me are always out of so many items... and it's seemed to have been that way even before the whole supply fiasco started.
This is why I don't go to BK anymore. McD or Wendy's or White Castle.

This sandwich comes out every 5 years or so and looks so good. I fall for it everytime. I buy one then 2 hours later it makes my stomach hurt without fail. No idea why. And I love this chicken usually. Maybe it's just in my head?

I remember getting this back in the day when BK had a French, an Italian, and an American Chicken Sandwich. I liked the crispiness of the Italian sandwich and the mild flavoring it had, so all the negatives you gave were plusses to me way back when.

Burger King used to have a Italian sandwich. Either called the Chicken Marinara or Chicken Parmasan, they definitely need to bring that one back.

It started with a real parmesan sandwich in the mid 1980s but changed to chicken after that. The sandwich is pretty much same each time they bring it back.

Well, it could be different at a different location. Back in the day, this was my go to as their was a BK in the lower level of the student center at the University I went to, and it was good, filling, and cheap. Now it just sounds like it's cheap. If they made it the same way they used to, it would be good, but it sounds like they brought it back in name only, not in taste. Shame.

I remember when I was a kid in the 90's BK used to have the smoke coming out the roof and the burgers and fries were way better than MD's. Before they gave you Large fries not that baby cup and the fries were fire. The Whopper used to be King. Bad Management and Bad Service did it for me.
