I'm 4 stone overweight so it's either wear something reasonably smart that I can't breathe in or go full wedding marquee and just be a shapeless but comfortable mess all the time I started watching your vids because II would love to learn how to make custom made shirts that look ok and fit properly this material you use here is exactly what I would go for I love the idea of being able to make any kind of shirt you want in any material love that 50's retro vibe

If you want variety seek outside the Simplicity 5983 (c 1965) for a "shirt/jacket" that is like an Eisenhower jacket but in the basic form of a shirt either short or long sleeve.

aiyanna peoples many videos ago, I made several videos where I refined a bodice pattern that fits me. With that figured, I could use it as a base for this shirt. Thanks for asking.
It would be something different you can only get the pattern online its a siimplicity discontinued pattern they have it on ebay i have the pattern its the best you will find if you go online and look you will see the newest hybrid kilts which are very neat theres no pattern for the hybrid and utility kilt you will have to merge patterns to get that look
