SMA rides Old Ghost Road - 9-10 February 2022

Skidmark Academy head down to the West Coast of the South Island, New Zealand to hit up the iconic Old Ghost Road (OGR). OGR is an 85km tramping/mountain biking trail that runs from Lyell to Seddonville. It's the longest singletrack in New Zealand. Six of the crew partook in the fun which involved some serious wet weather, waist high river crossings, slips and our evacuation.

The downhill from Ghost lake hut looks much smoother than when we did the Kahurangi 500 in May 2019

Yes, in the vids we watched before we went, the downhill after Ghost Lake Hut looked spicier than what we rode.
