When 'Open End' left the air well... what a loss... loved Susskind's manner, , LOVED his manner. Read with relish all of Greer; Marilyn French; Kate Millett.... subscribed to Ms. I had to educate myself just to catch up to the very impressive prose being offered up on various platforms. Never found fault with life as a girl, then woman as I encountered men. Education on Women's Studies can be done in anyone's spare time via reading across two or three shelves in the library. I believe there are college courses on the condition of women , past and how we arrived at the present advanced state of things for her. I would guess the college class is filled with rage and contempt, hatred and Angry rhetoric on men. And the professors are paid well to spout nothing that elevates the mind of students. Paid to encourage the development of writing their own rage. Instead of four months spent in that fashion the student could speedily get all she needs to have 'aha' moments over and over by being given a list of feminist authors. (this is a partial rant.. must go now)l

Germaine Greer was most unfairly criticised by her detractors who mischaracterised her as some kind of man-hating extreme left, ultra feminist loony. In fact, she was an extremely good writer who expressed herself with great articulacy - and usually very good humour - when speaking in public. She even wrote hilarious satirical material for Private Eye, one of the UK’s leading satirical magazines which was run by an old boy’s network of men with whom she seemed to have very little in common apart from her ability to verbally duel brilliantly and her enjoyment of good company and excellent wines. An overall very good sport.
