One of the best championship performances I’ve seen from a team by USA in the Final. Consistently high level the entire match.
Thank you Fencing Insider where would we be without you!
Thank you! I'm looking forward to posting the 'Best of 2019' video soon! :D
These were the best commentators compared to the 2020 and 2021 ones
So happy good bouts man
I'm glad that the FFE posted the final bout. It's a match to be remembered for sure!
But there's still no full video for Italy vs Russia
what did the first commentator mean by "the timings have changed back in foil"? Aren't the timings still T2005?
Would like to know too!
Yes, I'm not really sure what that meant... But I'm glad to see that the flèche to the shoulder is still going strong!
dzfz2100 the commentators say a lot of crazy shit. If it sounds weird, ignore it.
I haven't fenced in a while, but I heard that and thought, "wtf when did that happen?"
@@FencingInsider i think they changed how long you have to compress the tip to register a light making flicks harder, that might be what he's talking about
Was Watson injured or was it a coaching decision that Meinhardt was in the lineup? Meinhardt did great regardless.
i rate meinhardt as a more reliable team fencer than MCW
@@dzfz2100 Definitely much more reliable, example in bronze medal match 2016 Olympics, Meinhardt went 7-0 over Baldini when America was down super heavy in the early bouts and pushed them to a lead they never lost again
1:10 not prep?
That completely depends on the referee really. Many now see it as if you are moving forward you have the attack. And as he kept moving and didnt pull the arm back too much more so had it just in a back position it's still classed as threatening
Parry...Riposte.
Virus lari
S-thing!
wtf is this sport. i need to see a parody where the mountain from GOT comes out and just lays waste
You don't understand or appreciate it if you havent taken part. Once you take part at a good level you realise that what these guys are doing is impressive. The speed, power, calm, reflexes, skill, agility and other things you need is tough
If you think anything in GOT is realistic in the slightest...
