    If anyone caught me timing the injection pump at 26* BTDC, don’t worry, I caught it too while editing, and went back in the garage and re-timed it at 24* BTDC

      @CorsoCustoms Před 3 lety

      Diesel meken told me to set timing to 22btdc on my 7.5 m pump

      @williamgrissom9022 Před 2 lety

      I set to 27 BTDC for "start of injection" (drip method) on my 1984 & 85 M-B 300D. Recommended by some on Benzworld and PeachParts to give slightly more power, at expense of slightly rougher idle. I didn't notice a difference and idle is smooth, partly because I fill with renewable diesel (avail in CA only).

    I'm swapping one into a 95 Ford ranger with a Dana 60 rear and Dana 44 front, NV3500 trans and np205 transfer case. 37" tires. Hopefully it'll make enough power 🤣

      How did you bolt it to a nv3500? I have a s10 with a bad engine I'm thinking about swapping.

    Bro these 40 psi oil pressure regulators can also cause oil leaks in turbo internally as ur turbo grows old.

      Just VHT engine enamel, so far it’s held up really well if you give it some good time to cure in a warm room in the house or next to the fireplace.

    No hose clamps on the red oil hoses? I would highly recommend this.

    • @robertsfabworks6579
      @robertsfabworks6579  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks for the concern! These are actually Parker “Push-Lock” fittings and hose, and are made specifically to be used without hose clamps, they are rated to 300psi and we regularly run 200psi of shop air and chemical through them at my work, so I was confident in using them for my oil system, as I’ve seen a maximum of about 100psi of oil pressure in my engine.
