L take. They’d gone high all game. Everything on the line. The chip was 100% the play. High risk high reward. That’s what wins games. Didn’t come off this time. But Joey and JT made their share of blunders. Neither Joey or JT dominated the last 20 of a GF the way Cleary did in 2023. So the same could be said for Joey and jt. They’ll never be on clearys levels because Cleary nailed that GF like no one’s ever done before. That’s just using your backwards logic. Cleary is still a kid too. Huge detail: QLD was leading 16-12 with 2 minutes to go. That try didn't flip the game but sealed the QLD victory. So for sure not the most iconic moment in QLD history!
