After watching this, I realised I don't give Martha and Jonathan Kent enough credit on how they brought up Superman.
Superman could've become like that
Read the comic "Irredeemable"
Fortunately, Clark's birth parents favored peaceful coexistence with other life. With the Dragon Ball series, it was just luck that Goku had a severe head injury as a small child.
From the day I saw this movie superman Clarke Kent was the only one that came to mind.
Or just look at The Homelander from The Boys.......hooo boi....
This is why Batman always had suspicions of Clark. This right here... yeah.
GOOD ONE! Actually, the Bat is suspicious of EVERYONE!
I wished this universe had its own Batman though since the end showed that, it had its own Wonder Woman & Aquaman who were both evil. Then again, he could be evil too.
YOU'RE AWESOME!

He came from space, he is super strong, his body is super hard, he can shoot laser through his eyes, and he can fly. Its basically superman. But evil.
Super speed too! All we need is ice breath
@ *raf san* I'm not sure if your comment was meant to be a joke or if you honestly didn't realize this, but what you stated was the ENTIRE point of this film; to answer the question of: _"What if Superman was EVIL?"_ The creators of this film have CONFIRMED this MULTIPLE times and have spoken _at length_ about their thought process in interviews.
I'm not sure why this video didn't discuss the after credits scene...(which in my opinion was potentially the BEST part of the movie) where we are introduced to an "evil" version of what is to be this universe's Aquaman, as well as confirmation that "Metahumans" exist here. (I encourage you to look up the after credits scene here on CZcams to see for yourself) Basically the after credits scene was setting up an "evil" version of The Justice League, so yes; this film was basically a dark retelling of Superman's origin story as well as the (potential) jumping point of a dark cinematic universe of "evil" super heroes.
Sooooo Homelander?
@@Rose_Bride 'evil super heroes'? We call those supervillains.
Not really evil, i mean this is how basically any kid would act if they had superpowers.

rateable?
@@Mia-gy9uc pretty sure they meant relatable
All I can say is Evil Superman.
That would be Superman red son but yes Goku black would also be a similar reference.
Nah.. Omniman
Lmao yeah
Ultra man
So this guy has normal parents, lives in a nice rural community, is loved and tolerated by others. Later discovers he was adopted, finds his powers then kills everyone... WT HELL Man!!!😫 Doesn't the youth even respect their family or anything else? Would have made sense if the boy were adopted by drunks...
I love during the credits they hint at an evil Aquaman and evil Wonder Woman, would love to see this as a series
I really love the narrator he adds in jokes, and he greets us in a less robotic way, in the start of every video, he actually seems like a human, unlike other narrators from other movie recapping channels.
Spoilers ahead, watch out and take care

“It seems like my kids a murderer but I won’t believe it until he tries to kill me!” that worked out well…..
Those people in the restaurant should learn to mind their fucking business.Prople always wanna gossip.
Parents in horror movies are almost always very stupid
0:06 0:07 0:08 0:09 0:09
that “she then pets him like a dog as he sleeps” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
i mean whyd he say that
This narrator really hates the parents 😂😂😂😂😂.
Right? Super judgy for someone who admits to not having any kids or knowing nothing about kids
@@lindleloverwatterson3484 Why hate on parents? So they are a bit overly protective and the mother is clingy. They provided him with a loving home, a tolerant community and an education. Weird part was when the father turned on him quickly and tried to shoot him. Instead of having a talk before convincing the son to turn himself in to the cops after injuring the waitress.
@@hackman669 i said the narrator was judging the parents, if you'd read the original comment I waa replying to 🙄
Y'know there's always a character who will deny the fact that something is afoot until it happens to them.
Brandon is an interesting character. He has these chaotic, somewhat evil impulses combined with the angst and selfish nature a 12 year old boy might have, however you can see deep down he WANTS to do good as he constantly tells his mother (probably the ONLY person he trusts whole heartedly). However the frightened, mean-spirited and constant betrayal of everyone else around him molds Brandon to give in to his dark impulses. Clark Kent had a similar childhood, being teased and mocked by his peers, however he ALWAYS had Martha and John Kent to go back to and confide in. Their morals, values and unconditional love shaped Clark to become Superman, whereas Brandon was betrayed by both his father (tried shooting him in the back of the head) and mother (tried stabbing him). Looking at these two characters side by side really opens your eyes to how important parental upbringing is.
My oldest 2 have never had broken bones so..... and I know lots of adults that never broke a bone. That’s not really a big deal
Nor ever cut themselves or been bruised or sick ?
I have 4 kids.... my oldest definitely stands out.
some bumps and bruises but looking back my oldest has never been sick and other than blood being drawn, i never recall seeing blood or him ever even getting a burn. He wld acknowledge something was hot but....
Hmmm.... that is kinda weird now that I think about it. So i just text him about when he went to college and lived in other countries if he ever got sick or cuts or even hangover. He said No.
Ok. Yes, that’s slightly strange
I've never broken a bone, even when a fell into a glass window there was a decent gash but not a lot of blood ... it's not strange or weird it's just something that happens
I never broken any bones but....I did had a lot of bruises from riding bikes

BAHAHAH. I'm dying at the "Only in America", when the kid receives a gun for his birthday 😂😂
I love the fact that he turned the recap of a horror movie into something funny
It’s not really a horror movie
In other words, he's the evil version of Superman, that was really creepy
Could also be General Zod
I love how the background of the trigger warning for bees is a bunch of huge bees crawling around the screen lmao
This guy is a good story teller ..hands down
Yes good at Telling other people's stories lol
I am glad I never had the misfortune of seeing this movie at the cinema, however this recap was really entertaining - thank you

I really love this guy doing the movies😂😂he makes may day like that part he said "THE ONLY BABY I'VE EVER HAD IS MY CAT" 😂
This movie was ok, it could have been soo much better. The kid being activated by the ship just turned him into a movie monster and removed any humanity or sympathy for the character, it turned him into a drone. He had no conflict over what he was doing. Plus the mother character was horribly written and one note . For me it was a wast of potential. Love the concept of a Evil Superman overall was not impressed with the execution. But respect to those who really enjoyed it.
I'm digging the refreshed recap presentation. Perfect soundtrack choice!
Did yall see Brandon standing in the window of his auntie house after his first session? As the lights blinks? Creepy.
"I don't know cuz only baby i have is mY cAt"
Is it only me who loved that line?
Oh it is.... Okay then...
But this was relatable

In the end I totally thought it would be a spaceship coming to get him home, that would’ve been more fun
I admire how you showed all scenes despite it being a little too bloody, carry on
"Brandon got some sort of seizure"that got me good😂🤣
Thanks for the short. I like these kinds of extended previews because they don't have any salt in the game and aren't trying to convince you to pay any money to see it. In this case, I was dissuaded from seeing it.
Even if my kids had super powers, they wldnt know bc they’d be too scared to be violent ESPECIALLY with me. My nephew is 6’4 and 300lbs and he’s still scared to step up to me and I’m 5’2 100lbs
That's respect and love. Trust me it's not fear. You shouldn't want him to fear you.
I’m joking. Chill. I guess I understand how you cld take that to be truth as there are lots of dickheads in the world and more often than not, they’re openly assholes online. But the relationships are very much so based in respect & love not fear.
When he was 16 & i was 23, he lived with us and he witnessed some funny shit at a friends wedding that bc of his age at the time, he thought it was real and he got scared for a moment and so everyone jokes about him fearing me. But he’s a grown ass man with 2 teens now, he’s very much aware that physically he could easily overpower me. He just wouldn’t put his hands on any woman outta anger
@@tempbauer2131 you sound like an African parent... Very scary people
Yeah my mom was 4f 11" and a half. Not one of her kids tried her. And she had 9 kids from two marriages I'm 5 ft 7 in and I'm the shortest
An “African” parent? That’s a whole continent. Not to mention in some countries there are more than one type of heritage. Unless you meant “Afrikaan”
This was a very well written movie that car crash scene involving that man's jaw coming apart will always stand out to me
WHY WAS THIS RECAP WAS SO FUNNY LMAO
I don't agree that parents shouldn't go through your room. Your privacy should be respected; however, many things can be prevented by doing so. Parents should also be cautious of their reaction because it's critical to how the child will view them after.
Children shouldn't have a opinion as you are children and if you happen to be parents i feel sorry for your children. children privacy isnt a thing in todays suicidal/bullying age leave your child to there privacy say good bye its only a matter of time before there gone then what fact is kids are kids and need to learn to respect there parents your statements are so ignorant its not funny
Lol you should commentate more horror movies 😂😂😂 your sense of humour makes it so not scary 🤣🤣love the content!
A school counsellors partner purchases their nephew a gun..... OK then. 🙄🤨
Merica... the ..... country!!! 🧐😮🥴😱😵💫
@puteqx
Not sure if you're highlighting my post or the crazy ass one from Jennifer, if its mine then read on and if its not, apologies, take no notice of my rant.
To me I find it strange that as a nation alot,( not all) American's think its OK or "normal" to arm children. Most of these children aren't even mature enough to clean their room but yeah give them a gun, wtaf!!
Then again, it's crazy to me that anyone really can purchase a gun with a permit... ..yeah, I know freedom of choice, democracy n all that I live in a world with the same privileges, thankfully tho guns are illegal, hence why there is very little to no gun crime or deaths in my country.
So as I said a school counsellor who should be very much aware of the possibility of what can happen to an angry teenager purchases a fire arm, absolutely" metaphorically" blows my mind, unlike those who go on a real life rampage and shoot people's heads off.
Reply if you like, however, it truly will be an utter waste of your time as you will never convince me of the benefits of your laws. I'm also quite sure you could never be deterred from your thought process, so all good I'm the hood, well mine anyhoo seeing that it's a gun free society.

How the fuck did they think it was a kids movie? Just looking at the cover, of course it would be something terrifying.

this movie was supposed to be what woulda happen if superman had turned evil at a young age or so the producers say

The enemies of Superman's father decided to send their seed in pursuit. The only problem is that e didn't follow the same trajectory and got lost in the multiverse.
Noah gifted his 12 year old son a gun, what.
Idk if it's just me or that's insane

You have to remember they live on a farm in the middle of nowhere with no other people around. It's a lot different than giving a rifle to a 12 year old living in a neighborhood.
