- A week ago I posted a Tweet that resonated with thousands of fellow Canadians and went viral on a scale rarely seen in Canada. Watch to video to get more context. Simply speaking, people have been reaching out to me for help, and I can't ignore them. That's why I'm lending my voice and my platform for the next while.

I love your channel and your videos, I really enjoy watching you and I get the impression that you’re a genuinely good person, but you are definitely anti science. I’ve seen you comment on climate change before, and while your reasons for being unvaccinated are yours they are rooted it an anti science thought process because if you weren’t anti science you’d be vaccinated. It’s actually that simple. We are all victims of covid, every single one of us to some degree but no one did it to us. It just happened, and there was nothing anyone could have done differently. The actions that were taken sucked, but they had to be taken. We lost jobs, businesses, homes because that was still better than losing lives, and many more lives would have been lost if not for those actions. It was hard, but we got through it because the absolute majority of us understood that we needed to suffer a little to avoid suffering a lot. Sorry Marty, I know you said not to post negative comments but this Is social media and when you take a position like this and put it out there you can’t control how people react. I’ll keep watching your hiking trips and I’ll skip this kind of thing in future, you have the right to produce whatever you want but you don’t have the right to tell people not to like it. Hopefully the content stays predominantly about the outdoors and we don’t lose what we love about you and your channel
I love how sanctimonious and righteous you are. You're also extremely judgmental and condescending. I've been an engineer for 35 years, so science is not just a buzz word for me, it's my life. But I'm not going to waste my breath on you. You've got your head so deep in the sand. You're on the wrong side of history on this one. This is the hill I'm willing to die on, and I won't show any mercy to people like you. I'll let you read this, then I'll block you.

Words that are in effect nothing other than an opposing opinion, a different view. I respect your decision, I respect your opinion, and I respect your right to express it, it’s a shame you couldn’t find it in you to afford me the same respect. I’m disappointed that you think this is worth blocking me over, because I truly to appreciate your content and I’m a loyal, long serving subscriber who has watched most of your videos more than twice. You’re the reason that hiking is now my biggest passion. But you’ll do what you feel is right and I respect your right to do it. Again, It’s a shame, this could have been an opportunity for both of us to explore other versions of this whole experience.

My original reason for posting my video was because an asshole named Trudeau used slurs, stereotypes and demonization to divide Canadians. You're no better.

I'm honestly glad to see this. Until the trucker protest, I wasn't sure I'd make it through. Having been cutoff by many friends and some family, I felt super isolated. Once the trucker protest kicked off, I realized I wasn't alone. I've even reconnected with some university colleagues/professors since then, after the protest gave us the courage to be more public about our stance. I could handle the criticism of others. I've done an MSc in Physics so I don't mind diving into research papers and figuring out what we actually know, vs what the media was saying, and there were far too many extrapolations/misrepresentations for me to have any trust in the media or the government on this issue. The real wake-up call was Trudeau's comments. I realized if I don't do something, we might be in some really deep trouble. So you're not alone. I think many will be by your side on this new venture of yours.

The government needs to be accountable both federally and provincially for what they have done to Canadian citizens. United we Canadians stand. Truth and integrity need to rise to the occasion. I started following you after your interview with Viva Frei. I also saw you on Clyde Do Something, both great interviews. Love and support from Ontario.

Thanks Marty !, I watched your interview with Viva and thought this is a guy that speaks from the heart about what has gone on the past few years. It has helped a lot of people vent their frustrations with the current government and it didn't matter vaxxed, unvaxxed this has hurt a lot of families in more ways than we will probably ever know. During the lockdowns my job was considered "essential service" delivering fuel to gas stations. So we went to work everyday and just like we always did where a lot of other people were seriously hurt both financially and emotionally during this time. All because Governments got to pick and choose who were going to be the winners and the losers in this. If you were Costco or Wal Mart with 400 or 500 people in it thats fine but the corner shop couldn't have 4 or 6 people in it. Disgusting ! Hope the hunt up north goes well Marty and as the saying goes " Keep your stick on the ice" Cheers.

A man takes a stand, here and no further we draw a line in the sand and stand together emotions mean you have a great heart Marty a family man who just got fed up with what was being done and said. You have started a movement that people got behind. No matter what happens this record will continue like any beacon in the night, what is true and right can never be suppressed. It is a sad place indeed that has it's leader hate his own people. The truckers, the farmers the gas and Oil industry good people just trying to make a living here in Canada. Yet we suffer under such vitriol from our government God bless you Marty for standing up.

Thank you Marty. My experience as a Canadian through the pandemic burst my bubble. In my bubble: My prime Minister wouldn't encourage the bullying and exclusion of my family, my fellow Canadians and myself. My government wouldn't encourage the exclusion of family members by stating "mixing with the unvaccinated is dangerous". I wouldn't hear stories of people calling the police on their neighbors who dared to gather with family. I wouldn't have to pick up my meal curbside while being gawked at by the people enjoying their meal inside because I was unwelcome due to a medical decision. I wouldn't have to watch my children's mental health decline due to isolation from classmates. In my bubble, I thought my fellow Canadians would never have stood for any of this. Now, in this country I no longer recognize, I ask myself do I want to accept this truth or do I wish that I could go back to my bubble. I am really struggling to dust myself off and get back up.

Great Marty you're doing the right thing. I'm an "unscientific" Mechanical Engineer and there's no way in hell that I will take any untested medication or injections. I worked all through the Covid hysteria, but lost my job 11 months ago because I still refused to participate and I still do. I am 1 month from being evicted from my flat, but I will not compromise with nonsense and I will not be ruled by morons. Stay strong!

I have found myself highly segmenting my life over the past 2 years for fear of being cancelled (I wouldn’t care to say whether the political landscape in Canada is any more or less divisive than in the US right now). Many have been doing the same. It’s time for us to start talking, and I thank you for setting a good example.
Way to go Marty, was thinking of your dad and what if you had been banned from seeing him in his last days because of your medical choices. That happened to millions of people. The number of people who died alone breaks my heart! My daughter was in hospital last November, started as pneumonia and turned into pleural effusion. Was a scary time and I wasn't allowed to be with her, she had to go thru that alone. I cannot imagine the anger I would have if she died! Countless people were blacklisted by friends and family because of the propaganda bs. Some are awakening but not nearly enough. Dark times, thank you for being a beacon of hope, similar to the convoy❤️
No one should have been subjected to that...no one. My father passed away just before everything go insane, and that was a blessing.

With all that's been going on in the last 5 years--even before COVID, I've been longing for the simpler life and wish I had grown up exposed more to the outdoors. I'm a camp-once-a-year kind of guy but now wish I could've developed some outdoorsman/homesteader skills earlier. Thanks for sharing your adventures and knowledge. And more importantly thanks for using your voice to stand up for freedom! The strongest voices are those who speak up not for fame and power but because they have been reluctantly thrust into that position. Enjoy your trip, come back recharged, and keep up the good fight!

Hi, Marty. I was vaccinated (twice) because I was made to feel I would lose my job in the fire dept. Well that blew over and if I had to do it again I wouldn't. Just want you to know that I support you and EVERYONE and their personal choice/decision. Our governments (I'm in the US) are too power hungry and are pitting people against each other while big pharm (and “politicians”) get rich. Stay strong.
Thanks for the great idea, the Twitter trend and for lending your momentum to our cause. I haven’t lost everything like many did, but having to drive across 6 provinces to say goodbye to my dying dad and missing his departure has left me sad & resentful. Many of us probably suffer some form of PTSD. Let’s all stick together and get through this.

When that interview with Trudeau first aired back in Sept 2021, I literally stopped dead in my tracks and could not believe what I was hearing and seeing with my own eyes.... And NOBODY did a damn thing about it. NOBODY had the moral integrity to call out just how horrific and appauling those words were. I have never felt such disgust and total disbelief in my life. I could NOT just stand by and do nothing about it - so I shared the video repeatedly near, far and wide calling out this atrocity. Crickets. Even those closest to me said NOTHING. Mainly in fear quite frankly. Those words absolutely shook me to the core and every single Canadian and human being should have been outraged. Thank you for bringing the issue back to the forefront and waking people up. Thank you for bringing us all together. We are not alone. We are Canada. Peace & love, cheers:)💓✌

I agree, this is important. The PM displayed horrible, dictatorial leadership during the pandemic that caused immeasurable hardships. I'm vaxxed but I really couldn't care less about anyone else's vaccine status. It makes no sense to force things upon people who don't believe in it. You had a conviction about something and stood by it and it worked for you. It's inexcusable for a PM to condemn those who stand by their beliefs and their freedom. His political career should pay the price. Trudeau must go.
Bless you, I am in tears as I am not vaccinated either, I’ve been told I am selfish by family and others. I didn’t lose my job even though I work for drs, but I was told by a patient that all unvaccinated people should be dead, I told her I wasn’t and all I got from her was “well”. I stood firm and healthy with my decision. Thank you again for what you are doing 🤗

Props to you for sticking to your convictions. I’m vaccinated and wish I hadn’t done it. I wasn’t forced, but I was heavily encouraged to get vaccinated because I work in public health. I felt like it was a duty to get vaccinated because of my position, but I was wrong. I got vaccinated and boosted, and still came closer to death with Covid than I’ve ever been before. My aunt was vaccinated, and died a slow death from Covid. Your words are true Marty. God bless you.

I lost my oldest Son in 2020 due to his Suicide during covid lockdown , i have been deeply affected by this , sitting at home alone , depressed and still in shock and sadness . I can’t even turn on the tv , i get soo mad at our Leader of Canada , His “science” and demonic plan has caused me emotional and physical pain soo deep 😢😞😢
So sorry to hear of your sorrow, my deepest condolences to you. I follow David Paulides from CanAm Missing 411, and he too lost his son to suicide 1 1/2 year ago, because of the isolation forced on ppl. He also had a terribly hard time grieving. He has a 3rd documentary coming out in November, that he had a hard finishing up because he started it with his son, and now he had to finish it alone. Anyways, so many families have lost someone, suicide rates are through the roof. Just want you to know someone is thinking of you. Best wishes

What we are seeing today is our community healing. For years we have acted alone and really isolated ourselves. Now we are seeing we have tons in common and together we will push back on those that are trying to divide us. Good work.

Kudos for putting yourself out there and standing up for your convictions. Your passion and care for others and what they’ve been through is to be commended. Keep up the good work and stay true regardless of what the naysayers blabber about. Our country is supposed to be a democracy but the trend in government seems to be demonstrating otherwise. Hi Marty! Thank you so much for caring about real people with real experiences. Like you, I am one of the lucky ones who managed to get this far without too much trouble, however, I know many people who have not been so lucky. We are at war, no guns, no bombs, the war is for our bodies and minds and its being performed against us by our own Liberal and NDP government both globalists working with foreign entities. Our children will be slaves if we don't stop this. My sincere apologies to anyone who has been negatively affected by all of this. Know there are people working tirelessly to turn the ship around. Once the ship is turned around, we will push for restitution for those who lost everything, for those who are harmed, for those who need real help. Bless you all, HOLD THE LINE.
