I haven’t watched a baseball game in like a decade, but I never miss a Pitching Ninja video.
Ha!
I feel you man! Him and the show 22 coming to Xbox sparked my love for baseball again.
@@ryanlusk2688 Will check that out
@@enricopallazzo3244 get back into watching games! Nothing better than seeing a pitch and being like “Oh, that’s going to be on pitching ninja tomorrow!”
sick
We need that Ghost Fork emoji😂😂
Reds have one of the most underrated pitching staffs
Ashcraft is another gem
I appreciate that you still show pitches from someone who had a bad outing. Even if they get smacked around they still throw some artistry up there.
Nick Lodolo feels like a Prime Chis Sale
Nick Lodolo's sliders remind me of 2016 Andrew Miller sliders. Absolute filth 🔥
I don't think Brady Singer's 2-seamers get quite enough love. It is a pretty pretty pitch, particularly when it's front door paint. A thing of beauty.
Lodolo’s delivery reminds me of white sox era Chris Sale
Like what you did with starting with starters best pitch an finishing with the best reliever 👏
Springs and Lodolo doing damage for my fantasy team 😊
My day is now one pitching ninja Easter special better now that pitching ninja uploaded
I wouldn't have thought seven runs on no hits was even possible outside of Little League.
That would be my old Little League team and me pitching. I mean I never did throw a no hitter. But my team was garbage went 5-12 on the year all 5 wins with me pitching a complete game. Where the final scores were like 15-12 with me only having like 1 or 2 earned runs. And all the rest being errors by my team. I basically could only get outs with strike outs. As my OF couldn't catch a single pop fly to save their lives and the infield couldn't do anything either besides are SS who was left-handed.
@@wisewolftony I would be the OF who couldn't catch a fly ball in this scenario 😀
amazing content, i learn aton about different pitches and pitchers
Senga is my favorite pitcher this season!
I hope he helps my Mets to the promised land
Ahhhh, I missed these uploads
Previous Picks of the Day - 3-Leg Parlay
N. Lodolo 7+ K: Correct
K. Senga 7+ K: Incorrect
J Springs 7+ K: Correct
Result: Loss (-100)
a slutter is a mix between a slider and cutter so like degrom or wheelers slider. Steven Wilson at 82 MPH is NOT a slutter being almost 18 MPH slower than his 4 seam
Ladolo is an Ace 🔥his rookie cards are low !
I’m curious as to how fastballs are breaking up to 10 inches more than some breaking balls? Is that normal, I always would think a breaking ball breaks way more
Cheese at the knees lol. I'm excited to see more of a young pitcher like Brito.
Happy Easter Ninja! And wow, let 's have fun with filthy pitches!😅😅
Thanks! Happy Easter to you too!
When Clay Holmes is right hes one of the nastiest reliever in the game. First half last season the guy was unhittable
Lodolos release reminds me of MadBum
The Baltimore broadcast actually mentioned your videos when Holmes was pitching. Saying how hard it must be to hit him with his Sinker and Slider starting in the same spot but breaking in opposite directions.
With the high spin rates, does that mean that the tacky substances are back r have pitchers found a work around?
That Yanks bullpen 👀
Hey Pitching Ninja, can you train the people who record what pitches are thrown? They don’t know the difference between a sinker and a fastball or between a cutter and a slider
Lodolo pitch repertoire reminds me of Steve Carlton
Is there a difference between “sweeper” and “slurve”? Everyone is using the term sweeper for something between a slider and a curve..
i have no idea
I think, and I’m not completely sure, but a slurve from the right side, would be 2 o’clock to 7 o’clock, and a sweeper is more 3 o’clock to 7. So less vertical drop from the “sweeper”…..maybe
I feel like they are misusing the term sweeper. In my opinion a sweeper is a slider that is thrown from a side arm angle. Lodolo/ Chris sale/ Ryan Thompson come to mind.
@@HitClub-yk2oe that’s the fun part about arm angle. Former Mariner Charlie Furbush had a wicked slider as a sidearm thrower. But he said he copied the grip from teammate Tom Whilhelmsen’s (overhead release) curveball.
👻🍴
Today I learned that my phone doesn't have just a fork on its own emoji
Sean manea reminds me of Chris sale a little bit
Legitimate question. Why are we calling sliders "sweepers" now?
It's a different concept from a traditional slider. It's a seam shifted wake pitch that is designed to go predominantly horizontally vs. a slider that has more depth. It's a well accepted term among MLB teams and pitchers. sports.yahoo.com/hes-throwing-a-what-the-sweeper-is-mlb-latest-pitching-weapon-dodgers-yankees-220657765.html
More about sweepers www.pitcherlist.com/a-sweeping-sensation-what-we-know-about-baseballs-hot-new-pitch/
I see. It's basically a slider with more left-right action as opposed to a Dylan Cease type slider that's basically a glorified curveball. Appreciate the help
I'm here early, I must say something profound.........sandwich
Unlucky missed out by 1 k.
I expect to see Lodolo in a Mariners uniform in the foreseeable future.
6:30 Sorry I keep asking questions, but why did you call that a Bugs Bunny changeup?
His changeup is notoriously slow. In fact Looney Tunes responded here. twitter.com/LooneyTunes/status/1405600344982405120?s=20
The Yankees need to go on julio for this guy Lodolo
Lodolo, if he stays healthy, will be the next in the Kershaw/Sale line of dominant Leftys. I would add McClanahan to his name. We will be talking about Lodolo/McClanahan like that.
First!!!
Lodolo doesn't get enough respect because he's on the Reds, and it's not just because they suck. They have one of the worst outfield camera placements in the league, so you have no idea how his pitches are moving.
First
Nick Lodolo is going to look *amazing* in a 2023-24 contenders uniform after the Reds trade him this winter for a bag of pork rinds, a plate of potato skins and a diet pepsi. Mark my words, the Castellini's aren't signing him.
It is a shame but you speak the truth
Rip Ben Joyce needs to get his control worked on, 17 balls/8 strikes in his outing! He walked 4, walking in a run but he wouldve gotten out of the 2 outs jam if not for outfielder dropping a very easy fly ball.
Since when does Sean maneaa throw 97?
Lodolo is a dude.
